What is it growing on my finger? I have this for a couple of years now. Doesn't hurt. It just brushes against my pinkie and is irritating. What might it be?

Hi,
I have a hdfc demat account where I don't hold any stocks and have all my holdings in Zerodha. Despite connecting with multiple people in customer care to help close my demat account, I have got zero success. It's been 3 years and I continue to pay demat AMC. How to close it now?
My husband says they will go bad in transit. I am in my hometown in Odisha right now. It was 2019 when I first tasted Kaafal. Chased my now husband (then bf) for 7 years to ship them to me. He always said they cannot be shipped. Got married this year only to be at my home this Kafal season. I so badly want to share Kafal with my family here. Anyone who has shipped Kafal can share their packaging expertise.
TIA
We dated for 11 years through every possible phase, fights, ego clashes, doubts, and moments where we genuinely wondered if we were together out of love or just because starting over felt exhausting.
I always felt he struggled to express emotions, and he always doubted whether I could truly adapt to his culture after marriage. We were stubborn teenagers trying to grow together.
Then one day we watched a video by Labour Law Advisor on “lust scams,” where Rishab Jain said something along the lines of: if something feels effortless and perfect all the time, it’s probably not real. Even good relationships need effort, patience, and commitment.
That line stayed with us.
Today, I low-key simp seeing my husband send me cute reels his teenage ego would never allow, and I’ve happily embraced parts of his culture I once thought I’d stay “neutral” about.
One thing I’ve learned: social media sells flawless relationships, dreamy pre-wedding shoots, perfect weddings, and picture-perfect marriages. Real relationships are built in the messy parts, when one of you is difficult, when the other is hurt, when both of you still choose to stay, learn, and grow.
People change for the person they truly want in their life. And honestly, touch wood, I love him more with every passing year.

Hi everyone,
We recently harvested coconuts from our family trees in Puri and instead of selling everything to vendors at very low prices, we thought we’d try selling directly to people here. The trees are organically grown and cared for by my grandmother.
I’ll be coming to Bhubaneswar on 15th May, so if anyone wants coconuts for Savitri Puja or home use, feel free to DM/comment.
coconut (peeled, with husk): ₹35 per pc (updated from 45-50)
Current ones are unpeeled, will get it peeled if we receive any demand.
Pickup can be done near Biju Pattnaik Park, Bhubaneswar.
Or if there's some other sub I can post this to let me know.
Also, if anyone knows whether there are any vending restrictions/issues around that area, please let me know. Thanks!
Pata hai aaj kya hua? Husband booked a Volvo car via Blabla cars which was a 6 hours journey to Delhi.
Mein pehli baar apne mayke jaa rhy hu after marriage and husband wanted to make it special.
Pehle toh driver ne khidki khuli rakhi because early morning tha toh I thought fresh hawa k liye khola hoga then after 2 hours khidki band kar k driver nei AC bhi ni chalayi. Apne aukaat ki gaadi hoti toh bol deti ki bhaiya AC chalao but itni luxury car mein hum dono kuch bol ni paaye aur garmi mein sadh k Delhi pahauche.
Agli baar humne decide kiya hai ki Swift Dzire book kar k full chill mein jayenge
I just need to get this off my chest because I don’t feel comfortable posting it openly elsewhere.
I’ve always been supportive of the LGBTQ community. In fact, that was one of the major drivers why I chose Ethen Pradhan as my makeup artist. I felt proud supporting someone building their identity and career despite the stigma.
Coming to makeup, he charged a premium, over ₹35K for bridal makeup and I booked him 6 months in advance, paying ₹15K upfront. He had promised a group trial session for brides at his salon, but that never happened. Neither did he share a receipt of the advance paid.
On the wedding day, he arrived at the hotel with two older women from his team. I was a bit surprised but assumed they were experienced. There was a slight delay (probably 5-10 minutes) from the hotel in giving us room keys, so we waited in the lobby.
Once we got to the room, things started going downhill. One of the women, who seemed to be the manager, began complaining immediately, about the room, about snacks not being arranged, being unnecessarily haughty. I had also booked makeup for the groom, my mother, and my two sisters. I had already paid a total advance of ₹30K out of ₹75K.
At that point, I decided to ignore the behavior and just hope the makeup would turn out well.
It didn’t.
All of us looked bad:
My mother’s makeup completely altered her features looking Chinese and was ridiculed in her friends circle.
Both my sisters had a visible white cast.
Even the groom, who had opted for sweat-proof makeup (since the wedding was in Puri), ended up with a white cast and lip gloss that looked him look like a ମଧୁରୀ ମାୟା.
I had spent ₹75K, and the results were honestly shocking. I was so upset that I walked onto the stage with a frown and was on the verge of crying. My friends told me to let it go and focus on the moment.
But it didn’t end there.
About an hour into the ceremony, while guests were lined up near the stage, the manager came up to me and demanded that I clear ₹64K immediately.
I was confused. I had already paid ₹30K, so the remaining should have been ₹45K. I politely asked her if we could discuss it after the wedding. She refused and continued to be rude, forcing me to step aside and calculate everything in front of everyone.
She came back again, this time saying the final amount was ₹50K. When I asked why, she added ₹5K for “travel and waiting charges.”
Waiting charges for 5 fucking minutes!!
At that point, I had no energy left to argue and just paid. In addition to that they ordered expensive food from the hotel. Paid that too.
I later shared my feedback with Ethen, but he put this very polite demeanor without really addressing anything. I couldn't say anything post that.
To sum up, I have nothing against the LGBTQ community. This is not about identity, it’s about professionalism and accountability. But I do feel that in Bhubaneswar, some MUAs are leveraging their identity as a selling point while charging high prices without delivering quality. There’s also a certain attitude that comes with the “celebrity circle” they hang out with like hanging out with Prakruti Mishra. (Prakruti Mishra topic is for another day)
If your work matches your pricing, that’s completely fair. But this wasn’t the case for me.
This experience stayed with me for two months because I didn’t have an outlet to talk about it. If even one person reads this and makes a more informed decision, then sharing this was worth it.
TL;DR
Booked a premium wedding makeup by Ethen Pradhan. Team showed up rude, did poor-quality makeup on everyone had white cast, unnatural looks. Team caused a scene during the wedding demanding incorrect payment. Paid under pressure. Unprofessional and overpriced service.
