Ethan Hawke as Odysseus instead of Matt Damon

Did you guys get the vibe while watching the Odyssey that Odysseus was being played by Ethan Hawke. I knew it was Damon but his performance evoked so much of Ethan Hawke's personality, even now thinking about the movie I think of Ethan Hawke being Odysseus.

Michael Jackson was not a looksmaxxer

Been seeing this trend leately of identifying Michael's behavior as an early adoption of looksmaxxing. I strongly disagree, he had body dysmorphia which led to him drastically altering his appearance, while looksmaxxing is more about maximizing your attractiveness by presenting the best version of yourself through self-care, at least in theory.

Going to New York next fall as a first Time traveler

This might seem unusual to you as you all seem experienced travelers, but I'm going to my first ever trip next fall. Yes I'm almost 30 and never traveled anywhere, not even to the beach, this Is all new to me. I decided to visit New York as it's always been my dream to see the big apple. Part of me feels as though I'm late to the party, going to these popular destinations when it seems like everyone has already visited them, it gives me a sense of having missed out when everyone else has moved on. I Guess what I'm getting at Is should I lower my expectations or are there still things worth seeing when visiting popular destinations like New York. I'm going alone, I should also mention I'm not from the US

Misheard lyrics

A few examples, in Beat it I always heard "Defiance Is in their eyes" instead of "The fire Is in their eyes"

In Human Nature "If this town Is just a lightbulb"

The Girl Is Mine "So Let me take you to Motown"

There's a few others but these are the ones that come to mind like in Speedy Demon I always heard "Pull up a bike" instead of "Pull over boy"

Do you have examples of this with MJ, I think he just pronounces words in such a peculiar way

Those from the main sub Will crucify me for this, but someone's got to say it, Bad era Michael Jackson Is not one of His best looks

I don't get why they often says he looks His best, he looks like Diana Ross, I don't get what he was going for, the haircut doesn't help, he looks a bit off, nothing like he did when he did Thriller or Off The Wall
