Checking my cart for an O11 Dynamic Mini V2 Hybrid Loop (Hardtubes up front, Softtubes in the back). Did I miss anything?
Hey everyone,
I'm planning a custom watercooling loop for a Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini V2 and would love a sanity check on my parts list before I order.
The concept: hybrid dual-chamber design
To get the best of both worlds, I'm splitting the loop into two zones:
- Main chamber (visible through glass): Clean 14mm PETG hardtubing for the CPU block, radiator, and pass-through.
- Rear chamber (hidden behind the panel): Flexible 10/16mm PVC softtubing connecting to the DDC pump.
- Pump placement: The DDC pump/res combo sits in the rear chamber, next to the PSU/drive area.
- The pass-through: A G1/4" female-to-female extender links a 14mm hardtube fitting in front to a 10/16mm softtube fitting in back.
Why hybrid? It keeps the front pristine, absorbs DDC pump vibration, and avoids nasty bends in the cramped rear chamber.
