We need to be careful about what we ask. Very easily, it can take us to where there is no escape. Ironically, the thing the world values most causes the destruction of many. Then, many of them blame others and GOD for the choices THEY make.
We need to be careful about what we ask. Very easily, it can take us to where there is no escape. Ironically, the thing the world values most causes the destruction of many. Then, many of them blame others and GOD for the choices THEY make.
To provide example I will try to post pics as proof. It's likely the gangsterbots will probably reject the post because of the pics. No matter. For whoever is interested, I can send the photos a different way. Now, here's the gist.
Under new management and ownership (possibly , wtf knows?) the natural gas service is suspended. The result is a lack of hot water for drying clothes and washing dishes. Cold showers is a worthwhile adaptation.
So, as a good neighbor I physically posted a notice in the laundry room to alert anyone needing to dry clothes. Having a deep appreciation for our time limits, I placed notice on the machine yesterday. Today, I noticed some removed it. Usually, hateraters' resent someone knowing what they don't know.
Now, I can sit here and blame the US educational system for failure to teach simple engineering concepts. However, I blame selfish, narcissistic parents who are not present for their children. The instructors have no control over that.
It's truly amazing (or ironic) how many of us are over-attached to the sound of our voices. I believe that's caused by self-idolation. Gossip is a prime example. That produces something the Ten-Commandment strictly forbids. How many of us decide to be our own GOD? Do they even know that's caused by pride?
To prevent influencing highly suggestible people, I will refrain from paraphrasing the scripture. I only try to encourage reading it for yourself. The entire Book of Exodus in the Holy Bible tells it better than I can.
During everyday conversation; the phrase Goddamn is very often heard. The habit is so popular, it's accepted as normal.
On a personal level, I broke the habit many years ago. It's really just cursing LOVE and life itself. With his next to final breath Jesus prayed: "Father , forgive them. For they don't know what they do" Many captured by darkness; they expect the eyes to function beyond natural ability. Therefore, they can't see what Yeshua wanted them to know.
Independence Day we say. For many of us the concept of freedom is illusory. For them, liberty exists in chasing a ghost. The chase involves things which alter the emotions and produce unrealistic thoughts. If we are slaves to our impulses; how can we be independent?
Am posting here because the subject is really spiritual. On this platform have experienced much rejection. Naturally, we all have choices. However, many remove the "com" out of unity. So, it seems too many continue to lift-up organized crime. Sad indeed.
Unless it's a fake post from some bot, someone is definitely delusional.
If their message had a voice, it would emanate from the side of their necks. While many post on social media for subjectively humorous purposes; others slur their words, if only in text form. Moreover, fear causes them to hide behind some avatar. The situation is really political.
Without going too far into politics, I must say: the concept is rooted in nature. And, that's merely a quest for power. It's been said, "Power corrupts and absolute power absolutely corrupts" So, many use social media to advance some corrupt purpose.
Ex-cons and other seasoned peeps already know: the police can't be many places at once. While hiring more police might be a band-aid; for every cop there's probably 10 or more criminals to control. The way things are going, expect those odds to keep rising. The only advantage the law has is: many perpetrators lack intelligence.
In my small circle (and probably more widespread) I often encounter people who seem to have fragile egos. Craving affection and attention; they go to extreme lengths to obtain them.
The results are usually arguments and hurt feelings.
Having the gift of discernment, I can see where the problem exists. However, there's really very little to say without coming across as a know-it-all. What's most notable is how a fragile ego will attempt to alter reality to suit its own purposes.
Now, there's still some who consider that view of personality as a theory. But, for the sake of discussion; ego, id, and super-ego will suffice.
We all know people who--on the surface--seem genuine. Concerned with outward appearances, they will attempt to force others to adapt to their self image. Except, that image is fake. Underneath the gloss exists a different person. The clue is in the false assessments made. Some of us need to be 'right' even when facts prove otherwise.
On this platform, was recently accused of being unrealistic.
Made a post regarding minor glimpses of the future. I find inspiration practically everyday. Conversations with others and reports on real-time world events shape that view. The unfaithful can't grasp the reality.
While King Soloman is depicted as the most wise man in all history; he gave glory to WHOM it was/is due. He also stated (paraphrased): It is the fool that is wise in his own eyes. The King was quite aware, the wisdom came from on-high.Notably, the ancient prophets didn't claim wisdom. They only repeated the words given by The Father. The unfaithful will dismiss that fact as myth.
In our current age, myths are very often viewed as the absence of realism. On that basis, all of us believe as we choose. Sadly, popular culture, secular humanism, and chemical influence fuels the choices many of us make.
The purpose of this post is intended to highlight those facts of life. And, (perhaps) inspire further discussion. Assessing reality is necessary for an enlightened perspective.
Do we live in a culture that values the voice (speaking and singing) over the instrumental? As an example; I enjoy all three. Instrumental music takes my mind away from the vicissitudes of life. Vocal music takes me to messages I may or may not need to hear. At any rate, I find value in all of it
A realization came very recently. It regards addiction, recovery, and the human spirit. There's a current epidemic in the US. Totally synthetic, it's taking the minds and souls of many people. Like slavery, it takes control of their lives.
During real slavery, the people knew they were oppressed. The same spirit reveals itself in this age.
Now, what caused slavery originally? There's no space for debate here. Anyone with half-a-mind knows the answer. And, they know the pushas', playas' and pros' depend on that spirit. For a brief moment, let's imagine someone who's too dependent on forces outside of them.
Naturally, there are forces of which we have no choice except to endure. Generally, those powers eventually fade away. But, what about authorities that continually thrive on oppression? There's currently an epidemic which dominates lives. It's so insidious and insane, many of us believe we have no other choice. Physical depression can easily morph into insanity.
Addiction (including alcohol) has been part of the human condition for thousands of years. If that wasn't true, there wouldn't be any of the vices to endure. Power, prestige, money, feelings, or whatever; those things can be addictive. However, what of people who lack energy if those things become unavailable?
The popularity of methamphetamine (ice) is a prime example. Perhaps, without it people become lethargic.
With this, some of you know where I'm going. Twelve-Step groups are notable for the discernment it provides. Now, we all know people who act a bit(or more) eccentric. That's a nice way of saying 'crazy'. Naturally imperfect, all of us have moments of oblivion. Is it possible to be over-aware of.ourselves?
Certainly, many of us live unconscious lives. Over-attachment to the sound of one's own voice indicates the absence of awareness. So, reality (truth) is often neglected. That's the (more) of eccentricity.
There's a very simple adage that says it well: insanity is repeating the same actions expecting a different result. So, we don't always need a psychologist to diagnose the condition. We can see it clearly in those who do more and more to recover some past feeling. Addicts and alcoholics know that reality very well.
There is a condition within society that is very often characterized by selfishness and blind ambition based on the need to control and dominate. In fact, it's so insidious, those who have it are oblivious to how it affects others.
Based on the ancient Greek myth of Narcissus; a modern term is its derivative. Any student or practitioner of psychology knows of it.
Endemic to popular culture, much of our actions are influenced by narcissism. On a spiritual level, it causes many to lose their very selves (souls). And, some would even call pride itself a myth. All the vices of nature originate at that place inside of us. Notably, in this age of science and technology the deepest part of our lives are very often considered myth. So, that begs a question. Is FAITH fact or myth?
Monday, 6/22, an event happened that is worthy of spiritual discussion. Here's the story:
Observed a homeless man loitering by the rear entrance to my apartment building. Blocking my attempt to enter; warned I would call 911 if he didn't move on. Expressing the need for privacy the numskull suggested the property is public domain. I neglected to inform it's private property. Several moments later, saw dude in the mailroom charging his phone. So, the police were called. When they (3) arrived the vagrant was gone.
Coincidentally [?], another tenant (and enemy) was cornered. After introduction, I explained the matter to the officers. Note:, two events with that tenant to be referenced later in the post. However, I described those events to them.
The enemy's response was: his actions were because of my alcohol consumption. Personally, I think those policemen were unintelligent assholes. Now, it's time to roll back the calendar.
Around 3 or 4 weeks past, I observed an argument between the enemy and my next door neighbor. Calmly, I told both they "needed to stop" At that instant, the fascist got in my face. Pointing his finger in it, the asshole called me a "piece of shit". I then said, it was an emotional projection. The simple request to 'stop' was not grounds for such treatment. Then, we got into a shoving match. Nothing serious. When he saw I could defeat him, dude walked off. At that point , I said I would put my foot up his ass.
Notice the flair. The title is all about that. For better or worse, many of us have issues in our relationships. Work, school, church, government, acquaintances etc. The value starts in the relationship we have with ourselves. Common sense dictates: we can give only what we possess.Sadly, many of us seek to possess things not intended for us. Worse, many falsely believe poisoning others is a necessity. If we live in darkness, the light has little meaning. In that view, neither faith nor trust has any purpose.
The subject is almost an obsession. For many, it IS that way. Also, it's usually easy to spot. Here's an example: Yesterday, while waiting for a bus, I was chatting with a young woman. She expressed concern about a fire after putting a burning cig butt in the waste basket.I told her of my habit of making certain my cig was extinguished before tossing it. Her reply was, "I know". Now, how could she know that habit before telling it?
In the infancy of human psychology, Sigmund Freud theorized the personality as possessing three components --ego, id,and super-ego. Theory or fact, there's some truth to be learned.
It takes a measure of maturity to comprehend what's stated above. Often, it's necessary to 'read'and/or' listen' between the lines of communication. A huge problem in US culture(s) is the over-attachment to our own voice. Freud and others might have suggested sociopathy. Or worse, psychopathy. Both are characterized by self-deception and departure from reality. Remember the words of Jesus: Know the Truth....So, over-attachment to the voice provides no alternative except to lie to and about other people. Yesterday, an enemy called me an "idiot". There's also a concept called 'emotional projection'. While I hold no degree in psychology; my own life caused curiosity about it. So, I determined the enemy, in accordance with a wicked spirit, just might be a sociopath or psychopath.
In the current age, the various scientific disciplines often ignore the existence of 'soul' in human nature. Little wonder so many academics feel disconnected from other people. Refusing to accept the deepest part of them causes disconnection from their selves. Have a blessedly wonderful day🙏🏿
What does it say about ownership when fake guests, key-less tenants, and squatters can enter an apt building at will? Those are the prevailing conditions of my building. Most days, some of the tenants leave the front door wide open, where anyone can enter. Also, management refuses to repair the latch on the rear door.
In my humble opinion, a housing judge would permit suspension of rental payments until those problems are correct. Any opinion will be appreciated.
