Seeking advice on how to proceed. I got blocked and ghosted everywhere, and now I'm feeling extremely depressed.

I've fallen into a deep depression because of this...

I'm going to make a long story short, but she was getting out of a marriage for several months already, and I had already been out of mine for 4 years. She reached out and treated me like I was her love, telling me she loves me and cares about me. We were long distance but met up and also kept talking on the phone. I helped console her when her parent passed away. We were working on ways to move closer and not be long distance. She even met my child, as I'm a single dad...

Out of the blue, she started telling me she doesn't think she wants a relationship but that she cares about me. The odd thing is, rather than fight it, like I did once before, I said okay. I agreed, we can work on things slowly and maybe one day, but no pressure... Then she changed the topic and started saying I was smothering her and it was all just too much... and I'm like? We barely text because you're busy, then on the weekends you're busy, and now I'm too much? I scaled it down quite a bit... so I stupidly sent her a message saying I didn't appreciate her starting this conversation literally while I was at my child's graduation! And told her to leave me alone, etc. Well, she blocked me. A month goes by, and I noticed she unblocked me. I missed her so bad the entire time and friend-requested her again, which I shouldn't have done. She started writing to me asking why I'm "in and out of her life," to which I said, you are the one who wanted me gone, right? She changed the topic in regards to the graduation conversation and started complaining about something else. I said, if you felt smothered, you could tell me so, and we could establish boundaries to work through it. It's all about communication.

This time, I messed up. I proceeded to block her because she kept disrespecting me and typing in all caps. I left it alone and unblocked her literally within 10 minutes. Well, guess what, she blocks me permanently on all platforms and left it like that for over a week now.

But I acknowledged whatever faults and shortcomings I had to work on, whereas I never felt heard or listened to when I would explain how I felt... I realize this was all so toxic and not as nice as it started, but I also felt like this was all because she was secretly talking to her ex-husband again. Which, according to her, isn't true... but he was still on her Facebook reacting to each status. At the end of it all, we went from telling each other we love each other to "idk what this was," and eventually me getting blocked.

So I don't know the truth, and I really don't think sharing this story may have been very helpful, but I'm seeking advice. I am super distraught and hurt by this. I really saw a future with this woman and adored her deeply. But it seems like none of this was reciprocated. After 10 months, she didn't even tell her mom about me, which I was upset about.

All this to say, it's been a week now and I'm really, truly suffering. I want some advice on how to deal. I have work next week and I cannot even focus. I worked out today to try to calm the pain and was almost ready to have a full-on breakdown. I miss and care about this person, but it's all one-sided, and I'm the villain whose permanently blocked now.

I think my system is heavily dysregulated because I'm no longer functioning or able to do basic tasks. I have been so super depressed. I think I just realized this lady used me to get over her ex-husband and is possibly back with him? Why else would the guy still be reacting to EVERY status she makes on FB? But I'm blocked like absolute trash, all because I eventually wanted to have a future with her.

I'm already 100% isolated in life, and with being a single dad, this hurts extremely bad. I don't even have it in me to "improve" anymore. There's no more improvement to be made. I have done everything I could, and this was supposedly going to be the best chapter after the horrible downfall of my marriage, but now look... I really am shocked that this lady who acted so innocent, wholesome, professional, and family-oriented can just put me on block like a wholeheartedly evil individual, something I never saw from her. I'm really sick to the bottom of my stomach and cannot get over this.

Super depressed after my divorce, but not even due to my ex-wife. Due to another woman I was seeing who just dumped me, 4 years later...

I have gut-wrenching depression 4 years after my divorce. I believe this new woman I was seeing just used me as a rebound and finally discarded me like trash.

What's a good tapering amount to start at?

I unfortunately have abused caffeine daily, usually 800 - 900 mg per day. Trying to quit and bought 100 mg and 50 mg pills. I just don't know what a good starting point is or tapering schedule. Trying to avoid massive headaches and depression due to work.

Do I even have a shot at being a CRNA one day, or am I screwed based on my circumstances?

To be very thorough, would require tons and tons of history/background. I'd like to bypass it and get directly to the point:

I once upon a time was in grad school and was later unable to continue. My 110k loan ballooned into 250k as of this month (we are talking about more than a decade of accrued interest).

I since have been on PSLF and have been on it for just 3 years, unfortunately. I need another 7 to go...

I decided last year I wanted to change my career into nursing, as I'm passionate about it. I've taken all my prereqs, and even have a degree in biology, so I feel well equipped. I have done incredibly well on my journey thus far, with a high gpa and lots of interest.

I developed passion for anesthesia when I was considering a career in medicine; researched it a lot and even at one point considered the AA route.

Now I'm about to apply to an LVN program, and eventually do the ADN-RN, then BSN...So I have probably 3 years-4 years to go before I even contemplate applying to a CRNA school.

This is very long-term thinking, but I have a fear. In my mid thirties, I feel like I'm running out of time. Although I'm passionate about the field, and found like I finally found my niche, I also cannot ignore my past and my terrible circumstances. I have no support system, I'm a single dad, and totally alone. I currently work in business and make 55k, so not that much to afford to save & avoid paying out of pocket...

Just wondering if I'm wasting my time if at the end of the day it'll be too hard to become a CRNA. Or if it'll be worth it, if by any stretch of the imagination there's some world in which this would all work...

Just would love your thoughts, as I start the new semester. Thank you...

Single parent, super lonely and tired of feeling this way.

I guess I started off on the wrong foot being born an only child. Circumstances would have it that I would be born in a country where I had no other relatives besides my parents (US). So I was already lonely growing up but masked it with school & friends. High school was perfectly fine. I didn't even realize anything was wrong.

Then comes college, I move away to a city 3 hours away to start my journey and it hit me. Staring at blank walls and trying to make friends with others in college and failing to do so. They already had established friend/family groups.

Eventually, I get married and have a child...but my marriage heads south and before you know it, my ex-wife cheats on me and ditches the family, leaving me to be a single dad.

I've been doing this for 5 years and have since lost my parents. I have sole custody and have tried so hard to manage being a functioning adult in my 30's with zero support system and under much isolation but it's starting to get to me. Sure, I do my best to put on a poker face for my child, but I myself am really starting to feel the hardship of isolation.

I tried making friends with coworkers and quickly realized how fake they are. They are just maintaining relationships for work, which I understand but have no intentions of creating true friendships. I get it, totally. It doesn't help that my supervisor is a complete and utter micromanager, so I can't even just "do my job." Just my observation...

I've tried dating and have gotten flaked on so many times. I can't seem to find a new life partner. I have been trying for the last 4 years and have recently given up. No matter what I say or do, I always get flaked on. I'm treating the other person nicely, not being too intrusive, communicating as clearly as I can, etc.

At this point I'm at a loss for words at how lonely and depressed I've become for circumstances I never even asked for...

I really don't know what to say or do anymore. I have made effort to change my circumstances but they it resulted in nothing changing.

Seeking beginner advice on the KOT program.

I'm not subscribed to the app but would like advice on how to get started. I've heard the zero program would be where to begin?

My concern is I don't have a gym membership. I do, however, have a tib bar at home I can use. Is there any way I can complete this program at home?

Do you think I could request different class times?

There's only one think stopping me from applying to UTA and having to go to a local LVN program instead, and that's the fact that I've heard exams are at 9 am on Thursdays, which I can't do. Do you think I could work something out with professors to take the exams like at 5 am instead? Or is this a hard requirement?

Edit: Just noticed title says class times. I meant exam times!
