Halo Infinite is Great

I wish this game were more popular than it is. I’ve been playing off and on since release and recently jumped back in and have been loving it. The mix between tactical strategizing and absolute chaos is a mix that isn’t found elsewhere. They seriously dropped the ball with some of the features, particularly around the social/UI/matchmaking elements (imho).

I have not played campaign evolved and don’t feel the need to in the least. I was hoping that might bring some more players over to Infinite if even just temporarily. I’m not sold on UE5 for Halo now that I’ve seen what the original engine (though flawed) has achieved with Infinite.

Eh, just shouting this into the echo chamber!

Bridge coming off

Hello I am a newbie here. This guitar is a few years old, it’s nothing fancy but today I noticed the bridge was detaching and it appears there is a hole underneath. Is this a simple repair that a novice could do themselves?

How to attach nylgut strings?

Hi,

I’m underway trying to spruce up an old banjo I got for $50. Nothing crazy, just replacing tuners, bridge and strings.

I’m trying to install nylgut strings but a couple have snapped while trying to get them to tune.

My primary banjo has nylgut and I’ve tied them exactly the same- hoop at the end to hook the bridge. Any suggestions on how to do this better/properly?

You can see int the pictures where I’ve resorted to big knots instead of loops because the loops broke while tuning…

Hello,

I recently purchased an old banjo I thought would be fun to get setup as a bit of a beater.

One of the tuning pegs doesn’t go past a certain point and I’m unable to tighten it all the way. I’ll be turning and the tension will increase to a certain point and then will stop moving. To remedy, I was able to just put the string in and turn in the other direction however I would like to figure out a long term solution. Should I grease it? Any ideas would be appreciated.

So I am not always to game actively which is why I like GeForce Now. I sometimes pay for Ultimate, sometimes I don’t.

One thing I’ve noticed is that after downgrading (but still at the Ultimate tier until the next billing) the connecting/gameplay seems very choppy even though I’m still at ultimate tier.

Has there been any other reporting on this or has anyone else experienced it?
