I think people say wait until the tops are wrinkly?
This is my only cactus and I'm not sure what the physical signs are when they need water?
Had some feedback from this sub and plant clinic and really has helped! Grateful for the people who seek to educate people on here🫡
I purchased a Tapo doorbell yesterday and have set it up but I want it so when the doorbell rings both of my alexas can notify my that someone is at the door. The first time I tried this my one in the living room went off but my others didnt and a day later none of them say anything.
Ive checked the communications, announcements and DND settings and general turn them off and on again and nothing seems to work?
Just wondered if anyone had solved this issue?
Sorry for the awful picture my focuser on my camera is broken.
Only seen 1 and it looks more interested in the light. Its quite a fast bug too.
Hey all, just recently beat the elite 4 and now I'm wondering how I can fix my late start to the game! I appriciate the way to do it would be to trade but how would people realistically be willing to give them away?
Appreciate that this isnt much compared to some of the salaries ive seen on the sub but I'm currently in the UK and earning £40k a year and will be qualifying as a solicitor in september and my salary will be £65k.
I estimate my take home pay will be about £3,700 a month after tax (i have private dentist and gym included as a salary sacrifice). I am currently putting 6% into my pension and I'm paying off interest free debt of my parents (£9k paying £150 a month) and paying off a credit card (£1,500 interest free until march ans pay off £200 a month).
My goal is to eliminate the credit card first and then use the £200 to move that towards the payment of the debt to my parents.
I would also like to buy a house with my partner within the next 3 years.
My bills (including food) come to about 1600 a month. I'm looking to save £1k a month which is going to be split between a lifetime isa and a cash isa. I'm looking to save for a house deposit and build an emergency fund as I currently only have 800.
I'm also looking at an AMEX card and Barclayscard for a back up for my day to day spending and then pay it off in full to take advantage of cashback and rewards and once the debts are paid off I'm looking to move that money I would be using for the debts into a stocks and shares ISA.
Just wondered what people thought of my approach? New to the world of actually having a budget and managing my finances but feel like september will be the time to make the most of it.
Any feedback appreciated!

Just bought these for the first time. I have succulents but never had lithops before.
My current set up for my other succulents is:
50/50 mix of grit and succulent soil
12hrs under Barrina T8 grow lights
Terracotta pots
Is this ok for these guys? Ive seen somewhere that I dont need to water them (even less than succulents) and they like 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. So I'm slightly worried 12 hours with the T8s might be too much?
I propagated it in water for a few weeks until we had roots then I planted them in succulent soil for now (faster drainage). I looked online and it said to give them room to breathe so I planted them in this pot its probably about 8 inches?
I initially had them under my Barrina T8 lights but got the feeling it was too much so ive just put them on my fireplace for now.
Any help would be appriciated🙏
Edit more info: the T8s were directly above and there seems to be new leaves about to grow. The leaves feel fine (not limp/soft etc) so I think the leaves may have been curling towards the grow light which is why they are at a weird angle but please correct me if I'm wrong).
It was under Barrina T8 grow lights but ive just moved it into the living room now on the side. Was scared the T8s would be too much for it
So a few of my succulents leaves are shrivelling up and falling off (they seem to be the more established ones) but they are all still growing new leaves on the top which look very healthy. I'm just wondering if this is normal? They have been under the T8s for a good few months now and lots of them have been thriving under them. I just wondered if this was something to do with because they are getting decent light now they are sacking off the old leaves and growing newer ones?
The bulb bought is the second picture, for reference
