Hello, I drove my N52 a bit, not too sporty or anything. I arrived home, stopped the car, and later got back in and started it again. Then the check engine light appeared (without any other errors like “engine malfunction”). I also noticed a little coolant under the car. The car was driving fine — it only had some vibrations. The gearbox works very well. I suspect maybe the engine mounts are causing the vibrations, or perhaps the tires since they are DOT 2016.
I’m worried about the car. It’s my first special car with a petrol engine. Can the car throw a check engine light for small things that are cheap to fix? I’m scared.

Hello, every time I leave the car idle for a day (N52) I hear a ticking tappet sound, after I leave it for a while and rev it up (I can't drive the car yet because I don't have the plates yet) the sound stops and the engine runs smoothly, the car has 322k km, a mechanic from my area told me to put VR1 Racing Valvoline 5w50 oil in it because it would help and protect the engine, I don't know exactly what's wrong with the car, I want to fix it, sometimes the car vibrates at idle, you can feel it in the seat, I plan to change all the spark plugs, coils, engine mounts.

Is this issue common for N52?
Should i trust the mechanic and put the 5w50 ?

My N52B30, when it is warmed up, it vibrates while driving at low RPMS, what can be the cause? i'm scared to not be the gearbox, it is automatic.
