What is this Napoleon 20 franc coin worth?
Owned by someone in my family they plan on giving it to me sort of like an inheritance in the future. I know it’s just one coin but what’s its gold value?

I’ve mostly collected small 3 pence coins of his majesty King George V but yesterday I decided to go big and buy this Half crown for 15 dollars. My goal is to make a full pound with coins. I’ve accumulated enough to equal 3 shillings.
Been finding and buying coins for about 2 years now. Most the smaller ones I’ve found in change. The Kennedy half dollar I found in a drawer. And I bought the half crown and half dollar for 38 dollars.
I got these Japanese Sen all for just a dollar. It’s 17 Sen in total.
1939 Half crown and 1899 O mint half dollar.
Really love how you can still see his face clearly.
Bought these two coins for 10 dollars each. How did people in the past count with these anyway? The first one is from his early teenage years and the second is from the 1690s.
Recently got my hands on a 1649 king Louis XIV coin. He was 11 in that year. Kind of funny how chubby he is in this.
One is a Napoleon 20 franc and the other is a 8 reales from the Cazador shipwreck. I will only get them when I make it to 50. I’m 17 right now 😭
I’ve spent almost a month now trying to identify these little pieces of copper scouring books and the internet for them. All I know is there ottoman and probably minted in turkey.
Not in the best quality but it was produced in Peru then shipped on boat to Spanish territories and Spain.
I think it’s ottoman but it’s also just a stamped piece of copper or brass.
My grandfather used to work in the past excavating and recovering Mayan and colonial artifacts. He wasn’t allowed to keep most things he found but these two he pocketed. And gave them to me. I really love how you can see Philip iv in Latin and his crude looking bust portrait.
I love Christian artifacts and metal detecting. These two coins are the find of my lifetime. Both coins depict the Chi Rho Symbol for Christ on the back. The staff the emperors hold is topped by the symbol. First is Valentinian I and the second is of Constantine II.
I’ve mostly identified other coins I’ve found but I’m stumped in these two. My guess for the first one is either constans or Constantine II. And the second coin is a floral pattern.
The last two I’m not so sure what they are. And for the second coin I can’t tell if it’s constans or Constantine II. But I really enjoy this hobby to add to my collection.
Originally bought it for 1 back in 2024 and kept it ever since. What I wonder is its true value since it’s king George iii. And what denomination it is.
In pretty bad shape but I’m interested in it’s worth and what denomination it is. I found it metal detecting and I’m just a big fan of ugly faces on coins.
