i love the charger, paid about $175 for it, figured buy once cry once, but for the love of all things wholy why is there no F'in on off switch?
it was big, taking up most of a low boy. looks like it would spin on the center shaft, looks like scoops that are directional. they seemed to be dirty inside the scoops.
something for agriculture? or a water turbine?

backstory, i am new to drones, been into helos, cars, boats for a long time, so not a total noob, also new to this radiomaster transmitter.
luminere qav 2 - 5" bardwell edition kit, xilo f4 stack, radiomaster TX16s MK3, new, no other quads bound to it.
got the build done, camera is working, bound the radiomaster XR3 receiver, solid red light when connected to the radio.
set up in Betaflight, Arm is set to channel 5, aux 1 - SF toggle, Angle is set to aux 2 channel 6 with the secondary set for SE up and primary SE forward, Turtle is set to aux 7 - SH.
all things function in Beta flight, motors will spin in beta flight.
no matter what i have tried, and i have watched more youtubers and read more docs than i can count in the last couple weeks. the process is fun but now i want to fly this damn thing, i can not get this thing to arm. everything in betaflight tells me to plug in a battery and it should arm, yes i disconnected the usb cable first, i have power cycled, been through the switches, deleted the model and set it back up again, nothing.
closest i got was on a power up earlier, when i went to arm it, the motors twitched and there was some kind of pulsing alarm, went away after power cycle.
the arm switch just does nothing. i just started setting up widgets in the transmitter, not sure if they are needed as it is the only thing not done.
everything was set up step by step from either bardwells or Dshot fpv's videos, toggles are configured on the controller and show the hi-low is working.
anyhelp is greatly appreciated and i am certain i am missing one minor step. let me have it!

picked up 4 quads, 2 controllers and a ton of parts from marketplace today.

wife called me today and said the display is not showing anything, pumps are cycling for filtering, were definetly working 2 weeks ago when i was home.
anyone run into this? just a bad display or more internal?
ima electrial enginerd/contractor, just asking if anyone has run into issues with a bad display, as i am away from home until wednesday, if i see the display is a common problem, i'll order it now so its there when i get home next week.

it’s a beefy 5” frame I got all Facebook marketplace with another one and frsky controller.
The the other one connects to the controller and operates.
This one power is up, but not connecting to the controller, it’s like 25 drone saved in a controller. I don’t know which one it is.
I’ve got a real nice beefy camera mount on it and a run cam camera. I know nothing about.
Any ideas?
so i picked up one of the QAV S2 5" digital ready Josh Bardwell kits from getfpv, so far so good but a few hiccups.
first, i got a walksnail avatar GT kit, wont fit under the supports supplied with the kit due to the fan making the VTX too tall by about 3mm so had to order taller 25mm ones, which this leaves the camera mount not secured in the notches of the top piece of carbon fiber, not sure how im going to fix that probably shim it a bit on the bottme and top so the cam mounts, where the tabs are located, are not going to be fully into the carbon fiber, i gotta work this out.
kit came with the Xilo Stax 50A F4 AM32 ESC AND F4 FC, now i noticed the GT kit requires 11.1v - 25.2v, does anyone one know if 12v is available on the FC? since i've googled hi and lo and cant find the info, or, does anyone know if the avatar GT will work on 10v that i know is available on the FC, since Josh points it out in the video that is linked to the kit of getfpv's site.
i did notice that getfpv does recomend an external voltage regulator for this cam, which i did get, should i just use power direct off the battery and the voltage regulator?
also, the Cadx camera that comes with the kit fits like crap in the cam mount, furthest back holes, of which i can only use 1 on each side, but furthest back holes and cam lens is still sticking out quite a bit, that will be a pricey bumper.
also, and i think this is a big one, josh does NOT show a capacitor being installed in the video on this one, i understand the linked video is 2 years old, so i can get past the VTX issue since its a newer cam, but fuck i spent $1600 total at getfpv (kit, charger, batteries etc) getfpv could mention "hey this stuff does not work together" or something.
i am assuming i need the capacitor?
any help in advance for this not so n00b, just first build with some of this hardware.

i have very new DJI RC 2 contoller, i bought and formatted a smasung pro 512mb card that is also new, and used for a few videos.
now it wont be seen by my pc, tried different SD readers and the one built into my laptop. other SD cards are working.
anyone have any idea why? is the card now propritary to DJI equipment?

i recently started back some old hobby habits, it’s replaced my alcohol habit. i travel for work and away from my family for extended periods.
so i jumped into the quad cooter habit,,, er i mean hobby.
jumped in hard. due to being 4000 mi from home, i needed things.
got tools here and there and had them mostly in some apache cases.
today i had to pick up an ammo box to safely store lipo’s,,, and there they were.
so here we are.
it’s perfect for the smaller hobby tools and took 4 containers off the bench.
who’s using a mini for actual tools and not a jewelry box?
