Diony // Forgotten Memories

This is one of my main OCs (if not the main one)

Diony is a little white fox who suffers from retrograde amnesia, which means he can't remember anything about his past because of an accident he also has no memory of (even though he has nightmares related to his past, even though he mostly doesn't understand what they mean)

He is 11 years old and is about 124 cm tall

Diony is canonically heterosexual (although personally, I usually have no problem letting others come up with their own headcanons)

Diony usually wears a shirt decorated with a crystal on the chest, loose black pants, and black boots with gold details. He also wears a yellow cape with black details on the sides. He also wears an orange scarf. His fur is white and his ears are black. He also has some scars on his body under his shirt.

He has a small tail that is not usually seen because of his cape

His species has a bad reputation because their senses and emotions can be very extreme (they can feel everything three times as much, such as pain (physical and emotional), happiness, sadness, anger, etc...)

Commissar Frack

Commissar Frack, He has survived several battles, renowned for his ability to rally large SEAF forces during missions.

His way of treating the SEAF is rather peculiar, considering he is a Commissar, as he treats all SEAF as if they were comrades or friends, even going so far as to comfort other SEAF when he can. Although some other Commissars have considered this a weakness, it has been shown to make the SEAF forces that follow him especially loyal and more willing to go to the front lines.

And it seems that this is not just a simple Commissar strategy, but rather that he truly builds trust with the SEAF who follow him, as he keeps several notebooks where he records the names of all the SEAF who followed him and died in battle: "Their names and their deeds will not be forgotten"

A New Ally for the Chaosdivers

I was on the brink of the void, and I began to hear a voice that wanted to help our cause. It gave me more strength, and now I can be stronger than a normal Helldiver.

What could possibly go wrong?

Update to the Salamander Terminator Rigged Kitbash

I created a kitbash using a rigged Terminator model I had, combined with some models I got from Cults (since they were 3D-printable models, I optimized and textured them)

The base rigged 3D model of the Terminator was created by EvacTouch

[P.S.: Most of the 3D models I downloaded from Cults and used for this 3D model are from this one: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/salamander-terminator ]

A theory on a lore-friendly explanation for the Warbound in Warhammer 40k

Considering that the other collaborative Warbounds have had their own lore-friendly explanations, I'm curious what the Warhammer Warbound's would be.

Personally, I have a theory that it might be something related to the Void that stretches across the map.

Like, can you imagine if the Void were something like a connection to the Warp from Warhammer 40k?

Maybe a dilapidated ship from the Imperium of Man could emerge from the Void, and from there, the Supertiera could obtain some armor and weapons that it would decide to replicate.

return to Cyberstan

I have a question. I wanted to ask if liberating "Merga IV" would unlock Cyberstan, because if so, it would be interesting to do a joint liberation to return to Cyberstan and destroy those Automatons.

Mechanics idea for blocking and/or parrying for melee weapons

To be honest, I love parry mechanics, and I personally think it would be interesting for Helldivers 2's melee weapons to have some kind of block function for incoming melee attacks.

What I mean by this is, for example, the possibility that, depending on the melee weapon I'm using, if an Overseer makes a melee attack on me, I could block it and avoid being knocked down. I think this could make melee weapons more interesting. This could also add a new, unique stat for melee weapons, "Block" or "Steadfastness." Depending on the level of this stat, there would be a greater or lesser chance of parrying.

For example, if you're wielding a spear, it would have a medium level of durability, allowing you to block Overseer attacks without being knocked down. A machete, on the other hand, would have a slightly higher durability level than the spear, meaning that if an Overseer attacks and you manage a successful block, it would perform a parry that stuns the Overseer for approximately 2 or 3 seconds—enough time to counterattack.

A small idea of what this mechanic could be is based on the blocking mechanics of Warhammer Space Marine 2, although in that case, it would depend more on the weapon than the version.

[PS: I got the GIF from a guide on blocking and parrying in SM2 if you're interested https://www.reddit.com/r/Spacemarine/comments/1ffrezq/parry_and_dodge_timing_testing_and_guide_an/ ]
