24F Indian Muslim seeking marriage

I’m a 24F Indian Muslim looking for someone who genuinely wants to build a meaningful marriage and family together.
Deen is extremely important to me, and I’m looking for someone whose values align with mine. I want us to grow in our religion together and build a life based on faith, love, respect, kindness and companionship.
I’d really like a marriage where we can be best friends, support each other, enjoy life together and eventually build a family with mutual understanding and respect.
I’m specifically looking for someone who is open to a marriage without physical intercourse, while still wanting all the other meaningful aspects of a marriage and companionship. This is not a lavender marriage or a marriage of convenience. I’m looking for a genuine, loving and committed marriage, just with this particular aspect being different.
If this resonates with you, I’d be happy to connect.

Are there actually people looking for this kind of marriage?

genuine question. are there people who want a meaningful marriage with love, companionship, emotional intimacy and a life together, following Islam and trying to live according to the deen, but without intercourse for different reasons, whether physical or otherwise?
i’m **not** talking about a lavender marriage or a marriage of convenience. i mean a genuine marriage where both people want to be husband and wife, build a life together, support each other, have companionship and follow the deen, but mutually agree that there would be no intercourse.
i’m asking because this obviously isn’t something you can go around asking people in real life, so i wanted to ask here.
are there actually people who are looking for or would genuinely want this kind of marriage?

how do i genuinely let go of resentment and move on from someone?

i need some advice from an islamic perspective because i genuinely don’t know how to deal with this.
i know this dunya is temporary and i know that holding onto hatred and resentment isn’t good for my akhirah. i’ve decided that i want to forgive this person for the sake of Allah and move on with my life.
but my heart hasn’t caught up with that decision yet.
deep down, i still resent him a lot. sometimes i genuinely find myself wishing that he never feels peace or happiness again. i have thoughts like i hope his future marriage is miserable, i hope his wife doesn’t love him, i hope she leaves him, and i hope he experiences the same kind of pain that i felt.
i know these are not thoughts i should be feeding, and i don’t want to become someone who takes pleasure in another person’s suffering. i just don’t know how to let go of these feelings.
i want to completely move on from this person. i want his existence to eventually become completely irrelevant to me. i don’t want to wonder about his life, his relationships, whether he is happy or unhappy, or what happens to him. i just want to reach a point where i genuinely have no resentment left and can leave his entire matter to Allah.
if anyone has gone through something similar, how did you actually let go of this kind of resentment? how do you forgive someone when your emotions haven’t caught up with your decision yet? are there any quranic verses, ahadith, duas or practical things that helped you?
and please make dua for me. please ask Allah to completely free my heart from this person, remove the resentment and attachment from me, heal whatever hurt is still making me wish bad for him, and make his existence completely irrelevant to my peace. may Allah give me a heart that is clean, forgiving and at peace, and allow me to move forward without carrying this into my akhirah.
jazakumullahu khayran.

A lil more sacrifice here and imagine what we could have there

sometimes i think we need to actually imagine jannah properly instead of thinking of it as this vague place where we just exist forever. like imagine a movie where everything is perfect. you wake up and you have eternity ahead of you. you and your perfect partner and your closest friends decide to just go somewhere and you can literally just go. travelling to different places together, exploring things we’ve never seen, going on adventures, playing games, laughing for hours, trying completely unique things, doing random things just because you can.
you want to eat? ramen, burgers, pizza, desserts, literally anything you want and as much as you want, without guilt, without worrying about calories, without getting sick, without thinking “i shouldn’t have eaten that.” you want to dress up and look ridiculously beautiful? you can. you want to spend the whole day with the person you love doing absolutely nothing productive? you can. you want to play games with your friends until you’re tired of laughing? you can. you want to travel somewhere completely new? go. you want to experience something you couldn’t experience in this dunya? go do it.
and the craziest part is that all the things that make happiness feel fragile here are gone. no heartbreak, no insecurity, no jealousy, no fear of losing someone, no sickness, no aging, no exhaustion, no sadness, no money problems, no deadlines, no “i wish i could”, no “maybe one day”. just endless happiness and endless time.
and then think about what we’re actually giving up here. maybe one temptation. one thing we really want but know we shouldn’t have. one more time lowering our gaze. one more prayer when we don’t feel like praying. one more moment of patience. one more time choosing what Allah wants over what we want right now.
and this life is going to end anyway. we’ll sleep tonight, wake up tomorrow, another day will pass, then another, and eventually we’ll stand before Allah and this entire dunya will be over. so maybe when something feels really difficult we can just tell ourselves, just a lil more. a lil more patience. a lil more self control. a lil more obedience.
because we’re not giving up these things forever. we’re giving them up for a limited number of years. and Allah has promised us something beyond anything we can even imagine.
so what does your perfect jannah life look like? forget being realistic. what would you actually want to spend eternity doing? travelling with your partner and friends? eating everything you want? playing games? exploring places beyond imagination? having the most beautiful home? looking unbelievably beautiful? going on endless adventures? meeting the people you love? experiencing things that don’t even exist in this world?
tell me the most tempting things you can imagine because sometimes i think imagining what we’re working towards can make the sacrifice here feel a lil easier 🤍

I genuinely want to change, please make dua for me

i can’t seem to change myself. i wouldn’t say i’ve tried really hard, but the drive itself feels missing. the actions are missing, even though i genuinely want to change.
i want to become a good muslim and a good person. i want to be someone with utmost honesty, integrity, respect, loyalty, humility, patience, empathy and forgiveness.
more than anything, i want to become the right person before i die.
i sincerely ask you all to make dua for me. please pray that allah guides me, forgives me, helps me take action, gives me the strength to change, and makes me persistent and consistent in my thoughts and actions.
may allah make me a better person and keep me steadfast. ameen.

why do alot of people still see shreya as the villain?

i want to address something about shreya kalra in lock upp because a lot of people still see her as just a negative person. from day one, she has been the most relevant contestant. she has never faded into the background.
yes, she fought a lot in the beginning, but people ignore why she was fighting. right from the first episode, she stood up to ram kapoor in front of the host when nobody else had the courage to. how is that a bad thing? to me, that’s a strong personality. she wasn’t scared to speak up for what she believed was right, and i personally think she was 100% right in that situation.
her issue with yogesh and akanksha was another stand i agreed with. if you’ve watched splitsvilla, you’ll know why many viewers already had a negative opinion of them. shreya didn’t pretend to like them for the sake of the game. she was honest about where she stood and played accordingly. i don’t see anything wrong with that.
even her initial fight with sufi made sense if you actually watched the episode. they were talking about her, and she stood up for herself. earlier, when laila was kinda making fun of sufi, shreya supported him because it was the right thing to do.
another thing people hate her for is revealing chamola’s secret. but this is a reality show. it was gameplay, and she used the information to her advantage after chamola didn’t save her. i don’t see why that is such a terrible thing.
people also criticise her for eliminating madhuri, but i think that was fair too. she literally played for madhuri in the previous elimination and helped her. later, when she felt betrayed because madhuri got close to people she had issues with, she chose to eliminate her. that’s part of the game.
she also stopped shilpa when she was saying below the belt things about shivangi. when akanksha kept provoking her, she stayed calm. honestly, most people would have lost their temper in that situation.
on top of all this, she has consistently performed well in physical tasks. she has been relevant from day one until now. a lot of people see that relevance as negative, but i genuinely see it as positive.
does she bitch about people? yes. but she also says things to their face. she doesn’t pretend to be someone’s friend and then talk behind their back. she’s never been scared of confrontation or of standing by what she believes.
for me, shreya is the most deserving contestant this season. she’s had the best journey, the strongest personality, and the only real redemption arc. even in the situations where people hated her, i could understand her side, and more often than not, i felt she was right.

Marriage for Companionship With Little to No Intimacy – Is This Permissible?

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

I have a question regarding marriage in Islam.

Is it permissible for two people to get married primarily for companionship, emotional support, friendship, and growing together in deen and knowledge, while mutually agreeing that there will be little to no sexual intercourse in the marriage?

If both parties are fully aware of and agree to these expectations before marriage, would such a marriage be Islamically valid and advisable?

Also, are there brothers/sisters who genuinely seek this kind of companionship-based marriage, or is this extremely rare?

For those who have experience or knowledge regarding this, how would a person go about finding a compatible spouse, and at what stage should such expectations be discussed?

Jazakum Allahu khayran.

is married life really better than single life?

for the people who are actually married, is it really as fulfilling as singles imagine? or does real life feel very different from the fantasy in our heads?

I’ve been craving chaat lately but I’m a bit concerned about hygiene due to some health issues.

Can you recommend clean and hygienic places in Muweilah Commercial where I can safely have chaat?
