Catch release on this big hen

Landed on 12lb test through a bunch of logs, was a challenge to safely land it. (Safe for me and the fish)

Help identifying these little fish

I know it’s tough given the video.
They appear to have some stripes.

Little slab

Felt like he weighed near 1lb, thought he was a small bass.

Abandoned rock quarry

Checked out one of the local rock quarry’s by my house to see what was living in it. Hooked into a few 12 inch bass. Very curious as to what else lives in the couple of these bodies of water around here. What’s your guys experience fishing rock quarry’s?

Was passed down a very neat rod!

Super excited to take this thing out for some sturgeon or maybe some larger rock fish at the jetty! Lots of larger species out there to test this rod out on.

Did my pothos out compete my other plants?

The pothos has grown into my other tank as well, I was curious if it maybe outcompeted the water sprite. I dosed it with nutrients after water changes so I’m not sure. It’s been a solid year and half between the pictures.

Native Springer

Was such a fun fight, lost him on the spinner once, changed colors and he hammered it after a few casts. Super fun fight and release!
