Looking for a good dermatologist for hair loss in Kota — near Coral Park

Hey everyone, I've been dealing with hair loss for a while now and want to consult a dermatologist who specializes in hair/scalp treatment. I'm based near Coral Park, Kota, so someone in that area (or not too far) would be ideal.

If you've had a good experience with any dermatologist here, please share their name/clinic. Also open to hearing about your treatment experience (PRP, minoxidil, etc.) if relevant.

Thanks in advance!

21M Need help identifying early crown thinning?Looking for a proper hair care routine

Hi everyone,

I'm a 21-year-old male and recently noticed that the crown area of my hair looks more visible in certain lighting (photos attached).

I'm not looking for a diagnosis. I'd just like advice on maintaining healthy hair and preventing further thinning if possible.

Current routine:

Shampoo: (currently using ketoconazole2% with zinc )

Conditioner: None

Hair oil: Occasionally

Heat styling: Never

My questions:

What shampoo and conditioner would you recommend?

Are there any ingredients I should look for or avoid?

Has anyone with a similar-looking crown improved hair density with a good routine?

Any dermatologist-recommended products available in India?

Any lifestyle or nutrition tips that helped your hair?

21M – Is this an early sign of crown thinning or just a normal hair whorl? Looking for honest advice.

Hi everyone,

I'm a 21-year-old male and recently noticed that my crown looks like this (photo attached). I'm not sure if this is just my natural hair whorl/cowlick or the beginning of crown thinning or male pattern baldness.

A few details:

Age: 21

Hair is generally thick, but I'm worried about the visible scalp at the crown.

This photo was taken with bright flash, which seems to make the scalp more visible.

I haven't noticed a major receding hairline yet, but I'm paying closer attention now.

I'd really appreciate your opinions:

Does this look like a normal crown swirl or early thinning?

Does it resemble the start of male pattern baldness?

Should I monitor it for a few months or see a dermatologist now?

Is it too early to consider treatments like minoxidil?

What hair care routine, shampoo, or products would you recommend?

I'm looking for honest feedback and advice from people who've experienced something similar.

22M, 4 failed NEET attempts, now torn between two very different life plans — outside perspectives needed

Failed NEET 4 times. Parents want me to do a random 3-year UG + prepare for a govt "one day exam" (unspecified which one). I want to do BBA at LPU (scholarship) → 1 year work experience → MBA or govt exam. Parents think BBA is a waste of money if I'll prep for a govt exam eventually anyway. Need help deciding.

Writing this out because I need perspectives from people who aren't emotionally involved in my situation.

Academic Background or My Qualifications:

Class 10 (CBSE) 2021 — 58%

Class 12 (CBSE) 2023 — 64%, with a Chemistry compartment (cleared it, 6 subjects total)

Later transferred to UP Board, redid Class 12 — passed with 73%

The NEET Story:

Gave NEET in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 — four attempts. My scores actually went down over time, not up. Never crossed the qualifying marks, not even once. I was in Kota for prep but didn't use the environment the way I should have. No excuses, that's on me.

Where I'm stuck now:

My parents want me to enroll in a 3-year UG at some average/government college nearby and start preparing for a "one day exam" (competitive govt exam) — but I don't even know which specific exam I should target.

My own plan: give the LPU scholarship entrance exam, get the 45% scholarship, do a BBA there, get a year of work experience after, then either do an MBA or switch to prepping for a govt exam.

My parents' counter: if I'm going to end up preparing for a govt exam anyway, why spend money on a BBA in between?

I'm genuinely stuck between the two paths. Would love to hear — does either plan make sense, or is there a better option I'm not seeing?

NEET tomorrow — haven't studied at all, just need qualifying marks. Last-minute advice?

My NEET exam is tomorrow and I'll be honest — I haven't read anything seriously till now. I'm not aiming for a top rank, I just need to clear the qualifying cutoff. With less than a day left, I don't want to waste time on the wrong things.

A few things I'd love advice on:

Starting from literally zero, what's realistically worth doing in the next several hours?

Which section (Bio/Chem/Physics) should I prioritize if my only goal is clearing cutoff?

Any quick NCERT Biology recall tricks or high-yield Chemistry topics for someone starting fresh?

How should I handle negative marking if I'm guessing a lot during the actual exam?

Tips for staying calm and not blanking out, given I'm walking in mostly unprepared?

Would really appreciate advice from anyone who's been in a similar last-minute situation. Thanks in advance 🙏

From NEET dropout to BBA — need honest advice on how to not mess up college this time

Hey everyone,

My Qualifications:

10th — 61% (2021, COVID batch)

12th (First attempt, 2023) — 62% (RT in Chemistry, passed overall due to 6 subjects)

12th (Second attempt, 2026) — 74% (retook 11th+12th from 2025 for clean marksheet)

NEET appeared multiple times — did not qualify

Currently: BBA admission confirmed, 45% scholarship secured in LPU

Long post but please bear with me — I genuinely need some real advice, not just "work hard bro."

My Story:

After my 12th in 2023 I kept chasing NEET but couldn't crack it. In 2025 I took readmission in Class 11, redid both years just to get a clean marksheet, and passed out in 2026 with 74%. My original plan was private MBBS but I've now dropped that completely. I've applied for BBA, got a 45% scholarship, and booked my seat by paying ₹10,000.

It took me longer than most to get here. Setbacks, restarts, a lot of wasted time. I don't want to waste my college years the same way.

What I want to know:

What are the biggest mistakes BBA students make in first year that they regret later?

What should I focus on beyond marks — internships, certifications, clubs, networking?

How do I handle the gap + background stigma during internship/job interviews?

Is MBA after BBA still worth it or should I focus on building skills and experience?

Any advice on communication and confidence — after years of only NEET prep I honestly feel behind socially too.

Brutal honest advice is welcome. Thanks.

BGMI stuck at 60 FPS after One UI 8.5 update — settings show 120 but won't apply. Anyone got a fix?

Ever since updating to One UI 8.5, BGMI is hard-capped at 60 FPS no matter what I do. The in-game FPS counter shows 60 throughout the match. This was working fine before the One UI 8.5 update.

My Settings (everything maxed)

- Graphics: Smooth

- Frame Rate: Ultra Extreme

- Detailed Adjustment: Manual Adjust

- Frame Rate Slider: 120

- **Actual FPS showing: 60** ← the problem

No performance bottleneck either — CPU ~40%, GPU ~25%, RAM ~75%.

What I've Already Tried (please don't suggest these)

- ❌ Motion Smoothness Adaptive — already aware, not the issue

- ❌ Clearing cache — no change

- ❌ Restarting phone + game — no change

- ❌ Resetting graphics to default and re-applying — no change

**Asking for Help**

Has anyone else on **Samsung + One UI 8.5** faced this 60 FPS cap issue in BGMI?

- Did any fix work for you? (Game Booster, Developer Options, anything?)

- Is this a known bug after One UI 8.5?

- Did BGMI push an update that broke 120 FPS on Samsung?

Any help appreciated. Going from 90+ FPS to 60 feels awful in competitive matches.

Got my LPUNEST 2026 results (Category-D). Should I reappear to get a better scholarship bracket?

Hey everyone,

I just received my LPUNEST-2026 results today. I scored a total of 37/100 and qualified for the Category-D cutoff.

Here is my subject-wise breakdown:

English: 9.00 / 20.00

Biology: 18.00 / 40.00

Computer Science: 10.00 / 40.00

The result says I am eligible for a 10% to 30% scholarship per semester depending on the programme and admission date.

I have a couple of questions for LPU seniors or anyone familiar with the process:

Is a Category-D scholarship usually enough to significantly lower the financial burden, or should I definitely aim higher?

If I reappear for the exam to try and hit Category-A or B, and somehow score lower than 37, will LPU consider my best score or the latest one? (I've heard they consider the best of two, but just want to confirm).

Any tips on how to quickly improve my score in Computer Science and English for the next attempt?

Thanks in advance for the help!

[M21] Hair thinning at crown — what can I do to stop it and get my hair back to normal?

Taking admission in LPU for BBA — PCB background — which subjects are in the scholarship exam?

Hi r/LPU (and anyone with LPU experience),

I want to take admission in LPU for BBA (standard) and I've already applied for the LPUNEST scholarship.

I'm from a PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) background in 12th.

Can anyone tell me:

Which subjects are asked in the LPUNEST scholarship exam for BBA?

As a PCB student, should I expect Biology questions or will it be more aptitude/English/GK focused for BBA?

Any tips on how to prepare quickly for this scholarship test?

Any advice from current/past LPU BBA students would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

BBA at LPU (2026) – Can I get a high scholarship with 74% in 12th? Need LPUNEST tips!

Hey everyone,

I’m applying for BBA at LPU for the 2026 session. I just got my 12th UP Board results with 74% 20206. I also have a gap year after my 10th (64% CBSE)2021

Since my 12th marks don't automatically put me in the top scholarship bracket, I know I need to score high in LPUNEST.

Gap Year: Will my gap year after 10th create any issues during admission or for the scholarship?

Scholarship Strategy: With 74%, what's the maximum scholarship I can realistically hit if I do well in LPUNEST?

Prep Advice: For BBA, which sections of LPUNEST are the "rank boosters"? I want to aim for Category A.

UP Board to LPU: Any other UP Board students who made the transition? How was the adjustment?

Thanks in advance for the help!

[21M] Got incredible support on my last post a few hours ago — now I need the real actionable roadmap. BBA switch after NEET.

Hey everyone,

Just posted a few hours ago about switching to BBA after 4 years of NEET prep and got overwhelmed by the kind words and support. Genuinely didn't expect that. Thank you.

Now I'm back while the thread is still warm — because motivation without a plan fades fast, and I want to strike while I'm fired up.

Quick recap:

10th: 67% | 12th (2nd attempt, UP Board 2026): 74%

4 NEET attempts | Gap: 2023–2026

PCB background, switching to BBA

Long term goal: CAT → IIM or top MBA

Three things I genuinely need help with right now:

  1. Which BBA colleges should I realistically target?

Not just the famous names — I want honest takes. Given my marks and gap years, where should I actually apply? Looking for colleges with strong placement records, MBA pipelines, and an environment that won't hold my background against me. Open to any city. Budget matters.

  1. What should first year in BBA actually look like?

I don't want to sleepwalk through another 3 years. What do the students who later crack CAT or land good jobs actually do in Year 1 that others don't? Clubs, certifications, internships, CAT groundwork — lay it out for me.

  1. What should I do RIGHT NOW before admission?

Is there anything I can prepare before classes even start? Skills, mindset shifts from PCB to commerce, courses — anything to hit the ground running from Day 1.

I'm 21, my profile isn't perfect, but I'm more self-aware and motivated today than I've ever been chasing a dream that wasn't mine.

Hit me with your honest advice. BBA students, MBA grads, working professionals — all perspectives welcome. 🙏

[21M] Switching to BBA after 4 years of NEET prep and repeating 12th. Am I making the right choice?

Hey everyone, I’m at a crossroads and could use some advice.

My Stats:

10th: 67% (CBSE, 2021)

12th (1st attempt): 68% with an RT in Chemistry (CBSE, 2023)

The Gap: Spent 2023–2026 preparing for NEET.

12th (2nd attempt): Re-appeared via UP Board in 2026 to fix my marksheet and score. Got 74%.

After 4 attempts at NEET, I’ve realized the medical path might not be for me. I’m planning to enroll in BBA this year.

I’m worried about a few things:

The Gap Years: How much will these 3 years of NEET prep hurt my chances for top-tier MBA colleges (like IIMs) or corporate jobs later?

The Switch: Is BBA a good "recovery" degree for a PCB student?

The Logic: Does it make sense to leave Science now, or is there another field I’m overlooking?
