Do you work in an open-concept office?

Hi there!

I worked for OPS a few summers ago for an internship and since I just graduated I was thinking of applying to some of the full time roles

However, one thing I hated was the open concept office, it felt like i had no privacy

Before I start applying, I just wanted to come on here and ask what your guys’ office set up is like - do you guys have cubicles, open concept?

thanks!!!

Wealthsimple is trustworthy right?

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this is a dumb question but i turned 18 and I opened a TFSA and I want to put $100

Before I do, I just want to make sure Wealthsimple is trust worthy and i’ll be able to pull my investment out

Has anyone had any issues?

How do we actually bring back Hybrid Work?

Two days ago, I was waiting for my LE train and a Kitchener train was boarding behind me. The platform was so packed, I was standing on the yellow strip and people were still pushing behind me.

lt was dangerous and unsafe. Toronto transit (and roads) are not equipped to handle all of us.

I hear a lot of chatter on here about how much everyone hates RTO, especially OPS workers.

There’s so many of us who hate this new and inefficient life style, but it seems like nothing we do (like protests) ever work.

WE should have more influence in deciding how we live our day- to-day lives. We should not be this powerless and politicians should not have all this power.

Sorry for this rant, I am grateful for my job, but RTO has honestly ruined my life. I’m loosing so much money for day care, I hardly have any time to see my kids and all I do when I get home (at 7pm) is cook, clean and sleep.

My question is, how do we actually create change?

EDIT: One last thing I want to say is, my quality of work is the EXACT same whether I work from home or office. Hybrid work is feasible.

How common are cubicles in Toronto?

I’m currently doing my third internship and every SINGLE one has had an open desk plan

I hate it so bad - i feel like i get no privacy. Are cubicles uncommon in Toronto? Are they a thing of the past or something?

I’d love to know what type of desk set up you have

Hey guys, I’m never on this sub but i’m wondering if anyone else has been experiencing an insane amount of ads recently?

It’s been driving me nuts and i’m wondering if it’s like this for others too

In case any conservative MPPs are lurking around here because they seem to have forgotten that their job ISNT to bootlick the premier and have HIS interests in mind

If MPPs aren’t voting on behalf of the people they serve, there is literally no point of them and the system is broken.
