recs for small volumes of substrate?

Hey Happy Friday :)

I'm getting back into nanos and have a 2.5 in the mail 🥹

I'm looking at substrate options. I don't want to have to store a large volume of extra substrate in the apartment -- any recs for where to get just a small volume of it?

So... When is the White House going to contact this sub about the reflecting pool?

I feel like this is the place to go for blue-green algae resources, srs!

What should I do with my top heavy cactus?

It spent the first part of its life in a dark apartment, and now it has light, and I think this is why it's so top heavy.

I asked AI and it suggested to cut off the top and re-propagate, but.. do I have to?

I've also been severely under-watering until recently. I'm wondering if watering more regularly will help it fill out.
