is anyone getting therapy to recover from jee trauma?

Nahi ho raha bhai move on, zindagi barbad kardi ye exam ne isse acha nithalla berozgar baitha rehta kamsekam khush rehta

3 saal ye bhadwe jhaantu exam ko de diye, ab sab khokla lagta hai, mummy poochti hai bed se kyu nahi nikalta, well kyuki koi motivation nahi hai life is meaningless

Which is why I've decided college mei jhant kuch padhai nahi karunga bevda panti nashe karunga but I know that wouldn't make me happy either

The thing is ki result accha bhi aata toh bhi mai aisa hi feel kar raha hota lol coz it's not about it entirely

How can one exam suck the entire life out of a person bro, I'm NEVER being passionate about anything EVER AGAIN

Like my JEE has come to pass

3 years has gone so fast

Wake me up when JoSAA ends

Here comes the rain again

Falling from the stars

Drenched in my pain again

Becoming who we are

As my memory rests

But never forgets what I lost

Wake me up when JoSAA ends

Reliving the JEE Advanced 2026 timeline

17 May 2026..... 8:45 am, the paper pattern of the first JEE Advanced paper flashes in the eyes of a 180000 students. A sigh of relief for many, the paper pattern was identical to the pattern of 2025 P1. Except one thing... The MSQs only had a negative marking of -1, instead of the standard -2.

12pm... P1 ends. Students start discussing the paper among themselves. Almost everyone agreed that the paper was NOT easy.

"Paper 1 ne bhi sapne nahi dikhaye"

Break time. Many students try to gather themselves for paper 2 after a disappointing paper 1. The remaining ones, confident after a strong P1 perfomance are already ready for P2. This is where the real game is.

5:30pm. JEE Advanced 2026 is now over. P2 is being considered harder by most, but not by a huge margin. "Last year se harder tha" said every dropper who appeared for JEE Advanced 2025 as well. A moment of freedom after 2-3 years of grind for a several thousand students.

Then come in the predictions for the cutoffs. The hopium gods said "2022 jaisa jayega", the intellectuals said "2025-10 jayega".

"Physics bahut jyada hard thi" said every teacher and every student. "Chemistry P2 mein toh impossible thi". "P1 Math was hard, P2 was easy".

8pm. The official question paper is out. The top faculties of every major coaching immediately start working on creating their own provisional answer key. People are start estimating their scores. No one's exactly sure. Some underestimate with the "worst to worst case" and get into depression. "Lag toh raha hai sahi mark kiya tha but shayad nahi kiya hoga". While others delude themselves into believing they've done everything correctly.

21 May, the response sheet is out. No more delusion. Score calculators are out within a few hours. A moment of relief for some, sadness for others.

25 May, official answer key is out. No more uncertainty. Over 50k people have submitted their responses on Mathongo. It's clear to everyone now that the marks vs rank everyone predicted so far was complete hopium. Yet, many said "90% of the good students have submitted their responses, it'll be similar to 2025".

Everyone's confused, "how's it similar to 2025, if the paper was so much harder?"

Several attempts are made to prove that Mathongo was "manipulating" data. And that there aren't that many students above a certain marks threshold.

31 May, 11pm, many aspirants stay up late to wait for the results, the remaining ones go to bed. None of them were able to actually sleep.

1 June, 3am. The atom bomb. Cutoffs out on the JEE Advanced official website. 92 marks is the CRL cutoff, up from 74 in 2025. Completely unprecedented. Aspirants are unable to decipher what's going on, and within a few minutes the result is out.

Not 2022. Not 2016. Not 2025-5. Not even 2025. But 2022+40 is the final result. The rank was way worse than even the expected "worst possible case". Except for the <1000 rankers where the trend was similar to 2025.

Mathongo was the hopium all along.

It's either of tears of joy, or tears of sorrow... or

"You can't fight the years that ain't coming"

The ending some deserved, a happy ending many didn't get. Regardless of that, it's finally all over.

Agar college ke first year mein 3-4 bahut acche dost nahi bane toh galat kadam uthana padega

Koi aur hai jisko aisa lag raha hai ki college mei bhi akele hi marna padega 🤔

Inferiority complex, napoleon complex, saare conplex feel ho rahe hai lol, itne boring bande se kaun baat karega 🥀

Teri baahon mein beeti har shaam, bewafa ye bhi kya yaad nahi

Nasha daulat ka aisa bhi kya

Ke jaise tujhe kuch bhi yaad nahi

Kya hua, tera vaada, vo kasam, vo iraada

Bhulega dil, jis din tumhe, wo din zindagi ka aakhri din hoga

Cutoff is NOT as high as people are claiming

A lot of figures that are mentioned are WRONG

For example: Cutoff for Pilani EEE circulating everywhere is 306, but I got this at 298.

That's a MINIMUM 8 marks difference. It's probably a few marks lower.

Also, this is iter 1 lmao, chill out, a LOT of people will withdraw after this. (Including me)

The final cutoff will be within 5 marks of 2025 cutoff.

Me when I see this subreddit 🥺

I thought I saw your face today

But I just turned my head away

Your face against the trees

But I just see the memories as they come

As they come

And I couldn't help but fall in love again

No, I couldn't help but fall in love again

I saw it glitter as I grew And loved it, boy, I never knew

I thought this place was heaven sent

But now it's just a monument in my mind

In my mind

And I couldn't help but fall in love again

No, I couldn't help but fall in love again

The cars and freeways implore me to stay

Away, out of this place

My mother said, "Just keep your head And play it as it lays"

The cars and freeways implore me to stay Away, out of this place

My mother said, "Just keep your head And play it as it lays"

I somehow see what's beautiful In things that are ephemeral

I'm my only friend of mine

And love is just a piece of time in the world

In the world

And I couldn't help but fall in love again

No, I couldn't help but fall in love again

No, I couldn't help but fall in love again

No, I couldn't help but fall in love again

No, I couldn't help
