Howdy. I'm fairly new to watch collecting as a whole, and most of my collection are Casios, and modded Casios. Recently, I was at the local antique mall, and I came across a MoonSwatch in a locked case, priced at the very top end of what I would consider "Too good to be true" territory.

I fell in love with the design (Snoopy!), and after a quick Google (too quick, really. I played myself) I decided to pull the trigger, only to learn that it was a rep.

I called the antiques place and of course they don't do any sort of returns so I started looking more into the reps. Eventually, I ended up landing on this subreddit, learning about DHG, and now I have a handful of em, in a bunch of colors, coming in a week or so.

As someone who mods Casios, holy moly, these are gold mine, and I'm so excited to start modding these. I ordered a few Megir watches to keep the housing swaps simple for now, but I've been so stoked about possibilities.

MoonSwatch reps are now about to get the same love and attention as my AE1200 from me.

I got scammed.

Lesson learned, but oh boy what a door it seems to have opened!
