Coinslot typical pricing?

Hi all! Would love to have some input from anyone who got a coinslot mod in their ear cartilage. How much did you pay, what year, and where in the world (roughly) did you get it?

I don't think it's in the cards for me right now, but I'd definitely like to get one eventually! Would love to hear about your experiences healing and whatnot as well. I'll definitely go to a reputable provider, so no worries there!

Green Line Cafe is on strike tomorrow (8/15)!

Not sure if it's all locations, but the Green Line cafe workers by Clark Park will be striking for better pay and worker protections. Check out Nilaa in the farmer's market or bring your own coffee!

Bike lock piracy?

Weird title, but hear me out..

I've been looking through bike lock recommendations, and a common sentiment I see is that bike thieves will avoid certain locks if they're known to be particularly durable/hard to crack. With that said, the easiest way to distinguish the Kryptonite U-locks is by the color.

I wonder if it would be worth it to paint/disguise your normal shitty U-lock as one of the high-end Krypto ones... obviously wouldn't hold up under scrutiny, but if a bike thief is just quickly looking at their options, it might help.

I've eliminated AI "helpful responses" and summaries... now how do I remove all of the slop websites from my search results??

Well, I've removed as many overt AI features as possible from my computer... but 90% of my search results are still fake websites/blogs full of generated slop based on whatever I searched.

I've tried a few different browsers (DDG, Ecosia, Startpage) and largely get the same results, although Startpage tends to be slightly better. What can I even do at this point? I know that searching for info pre-2021 can be helpful, but even then I've been getting lots of sites that are scraped/edited full of SEO muck. Even "legitimate" websites are often stuffed full of AI-written articles.

Would love any input from those who have managed to make their search results more useful/accurate.

Bitter/earthy matcha fragrance?

Hi! I've been browsing matcha scents for a while but it seems like the majority of them are sweet fragrances.

I'm desperately looking for a matcha perfume that is intensely bitter/herbal/earthy, and as realistic as possible. Preferably a one-note scent, but I'm mostly just trying to avoid anything too sweet or gourmand-forward.

Thank you!

Found this super cool neon screenprinted shirt at the bins!

I'm not a huge fan of long sleeves but this is SO comfy, will definitely add it to my rotation haha

I repainted part of the Asplundh family estate after the owner died. Imagine my whiplash when I started browsing here!

Nothing too juicy, just wanted to share! They were selling the estate and we repainted it for a realtor. Will answer basic questions (and no, I didn't meet any of the family)!

Edit: Oh, also-- when we first got here, the realtor asked if I had ever used Asplundh tree services before. She gave me a GENUINE look of disgust when I told her that I had never heard of them before lmao

Clothes with Goodwill tags?

I've noticed that the Outlet I go to only ever has clothes with Goodwill tags attached. I'm starting to think that's why I struggle to find anything particularly interesting... is this true for you guys as well? Housewares are often not tagged but those aren't very good either.

Which type of thumbnails perform best for you?

Obviously the goal is to represent the item as clearly and accurately as possible, but have y'all noticed a certain style of thumbnail leading to more sales? I can think of white background, item on hanger, item on floor, item being modeled, item modeled +styled.

Thanks!

Hi all! My girl Dandelion is about two years old, but she's still pretty small (about 90g?). Would love to see all of your large/fully grown hognoses :-)
