If the Vanguard role was the easiest to play. Why is nobody playing it?

Apparently all you need to do to win a game is stand there on tank.
Who would’ve thought we’ve been playing it wrong for 20 months? 🤔

So first of all. RIP to my wallet 🪦2024-2026.

My personal ranking of the skins:

1# & #2 : the two are the on the same level for me personally and I don’t have any complaints about them.
Gala Glam and the White wave queen

(It took a whole week for the rivals community to find something to complain about the summer skin, so it’s definitely peak).

#3: Black queen of the mauraders : yes, this was the first step in the right direction for Emma. My only complaint is the colouring and the random lines on it. if it came in white, it definitely would be her best.

#4: Phoenix Diamond : Definitely the most nitpicked for no reason whatsoever. It was hype when it came out, still one of my favs.

#5: Queen of Diamonds: this one is gonna piss people off. I think this skin is overhated and trashed to an extremely harsh degree. Two small changes and this one would be one of her most beloved. Fix the hair and recolor her heels that’s it.

#6: X-Revolution: now, I don’t think this skin is bad, but there is something off about it that I can’t really figure out. maybe the hair is the problem or something else. I think it just looks better in art than in game.

#7: Helfire Protocol: yeah, this one is straight up Dudu garbage. If there is one skin I regret buying, it’s this one. The only reason I bought it Is because of the emote. It’s flat out ugly. The whole cyberpunk aesthetic and the abundance of BLUE on the outfit, makes it hard to look at. The only reason it ever saw use in matches, is because it’s legendary. Maybe a recolor chroma could’ve saved it, but they couldn’t even bother doing that.

#8: Base Emma Frost: everyone is in agreement that this one is the worst. The chopped bob, butt ugly shoulder guards and shin pad boots, ugly makeup and the use of blue secondary colouring in this outfit, makes it unsalvageable. Only mods could ever fix it.

I remember in Season 6 when her Shield was nerfed to 300hp. A lot of the Rivals streamers were justifying it, saying “it’s takes too long to break her shield.”
God fucking forbid a Vanguard is able to withstand any damage, we only reserve that for Broken Duelists.

Anyway, im happy they undid that change. Just would like to know your thoughts on potential changes to her kit.

If People are saying Rogue can’t be Buffed because her team up with Gambit makes her too strong. Why is a character’s value being determined by their team ups? Also, why can’t she be Meta? Why can’t a melee Brawler be Meta for once?
Hela has been Meta in Marvel rivals since the goddamn BETA.

In Namors case, his base kit gets Buffs at the cost of the Team up being “Nerfed”. But it’s really not actually.
In terms of Gameplay, nobody will look at you with a serious face and say Namor takes more skill than Rogue. All it does is make Hela undivable and Vanguard’s lives miserable.

Right now, after the release of Devil Dinosaur Rogue feels like Shit to play. And i wouldn’t trust Zhiyong at all with the Tenacity bullshit and the Disgusting Buffs to Phoenix of all characters.

The Fact they did everything we asked them not to do is astounding.
On the bright side you won’t have to listen to me rant on here anymore. I Give up.

I sincerely hate the Community with a burning passion.
Every single time there is something completely Busted with a Duelist, it gets ignored by the Devs for months. But when a Vanguard is in an actually strong state, they apparently deserve emergency nerfs.
Tankpool is actually strong and doesn’t get immediately atomized by poke? “NERFSS!!!!- love from zhiyong”.

I’m currently seeing a bunch of instalock Duelists online, spamming the lowest IQ takes imaginable about Punishers Shotgun, so it dosent get well deserved nerfs.
Punisher is supposed to be POKE not BRAWL.
It dosent make any sense that a POKE hitscan, can 3 TAP GROOT at close range. It’s horrible character design is what it is.

A character needs to be either strong at medium to long range OR strong at close to medium range. Not strong at medium to long AND devastating at close range.
Regarding also that they have the audacity to say this shit after the Tenacity changes Recently made multiple Tanks shit to play as well.

I’m posting this in so we can Lobby to have it nerfed in Season 8, because given the balance devs track record, It’s the only way for any positive change to happen at all.
