General contractor recommendation

I'm seeking recommendations for general contractors who work in Pomona and have experience with permitting with the city and county. Looking to do an addition on my house.

Range of outcomes for mallet finger

43 Male, 5'8", 180.

I am not seeking medical advice.

I was diagnosedat urgent care with mallet finger - a torn extensor tendon on my right middle finger. It droops down and can't be straightened.

2.5 years ago I took Levaquin combined with Prednisone and subsequently developed tendinopathy, a black box warning for Levaquin. I've basically been waiting for a tendon to rupture since then.

I just saw an orthopedist who gave a very poor prognosis for the success of surgery. He also said that splinting for 8 weeks is unlikely to actual result in long term healing and that I'm better off just accepting my new finger droop and adapting.

I'm wondering about your expected range of outcomes for non surgical interventions for mallet finger. Particularly in the context of degenerative tendinopathy. What have you observed? Or things you've heard. Any insight is helpful.

I thought I was better

Then today I tore an extensor tendon in my middle finger. While I was making the bed! It's a not uncommon sports injury, when a baseball or hockey puck has a direct impact to a fingertip. But the docs I saw have never heard of it happening on a routine household chore.

I was floxed in October of 2023. Tendonitis and other health problems began in 2024 and ran through 2025. I thought I was better, the Achilles tendonitis went away. But now this.

Ready to replace my suspension again

2011 TRD OR 6MT 4.0

I replaced the stock OR suspension when I bought it at 40k miles 3.5 years ago. 2.5" Rough Country front and back and a full Rough Country leaf spring pack + add-a-leaf. plus UCAs I didn't know what I was doing which is why I got the RC crap.

Now I'm at 120k, with an enormous amount of dirt road driving in there - like 10k-15k. I drive off road for work. Things are sagging now and feeling tired and it's time for a new suspension.

So, what should I get? I'm running 285-70-17 so would like another 2.5' lift. Price is not my main concern, it's functionality and disability. This will be my last suspension in this truck.

Also, do I need to replace the UCAs? Or just the ball joints? I dont mind doing them but it seems like outside of the ball joints it's a non mechanical part?

I love Rich's early alias stuff, Polygon Window, Caustic Window, GAK, Universal Indicator. Plus SAW1 is my favorite era of RDJ.

But I just downloaded Expert Knob Twiddlers and I have to say it's not doing it for me. It feels sort of disjointed and less mature than some of his other music. It's hard to get into a groove with this record.
