Why ditch the side rail?
Why are countries that use the AK (mainly Russia and Serbia in this example) ditching side rails in favor of hinged dust covers with rails? I've been told hinged dust covers are prone to shifting zero when abused. Wouldn't this be a downgrade?

Whats up with Century Arms and WASRs currently?
I was looking at getting one but they seem to be out of stock everywhere. I know they’re pretty popular so I doubt Century would ever discontinue them. Does this just come down to supply chain issues?

I can clear most racers no issue but the most difficult ones are going to be the Record guys and Unrivaled Emperor. What’s the most optimal car to build for this? what stretch of road is ideal for racing them on? How do I turn the odds in my favor?
