BTS What am I missing?

I’ve been wondering about something for the past few months, and I’m asking purely out of curiosity, so please don’t take this the wrong way! 😊
I have a few female friends and relatives in their 40s and 50s who are absolutely crazy about this band. They really adore these guys, singing along, dancing, and getting completely excited about them.
I’ve tried listening to their music myself because I genuinely wanted to understand the appeal. I can appreciate that they’re talented but personally, I haven’t heard anything that feels particularly extraordinary or different from a lot of other bands.
So I’m honestly curious: what am I missing? 😄
Is there something about the members’ personalities, their image, their history, the nostalgia factor, or the way they connect with their fans that makes them especially appealing to this particular age group?
I’m not trying to criticize the band or anyone who loves them. People enjoy different things, and I think that’s great. I’m just genuinely fascinated by how passionate some of their older female fans are and would love to understand what it is that makes this group so special to them.
And please be gentle with me—I’m genuinely asking because I want to understand, not start a fight with the fandom! 😂

Anyone to chat about life and mundane things nowadays?

55F recently divorced and feeling a bit bored. He kept all the friends and I kept the son and the cat! 😁
I’m here to make some new friends and honestly, I’m not too bothered where you’re from. Somewhere nearby, somewhere on the other side of the world… all good! 🌍😎
I enjoy good conversations, random thoughts, different perspectives, and a bit of healthy disagreement now and then. I’m pretty curious, love general culture, and I’ve travelled quite a bit, so I’m always happy to discover new ideas, stories, and ways of seeing the world.
If you’re the kind of person who has an opinion about something (or absolutely everything 😜), enjoys exchanging thoughts, and doesn’t mind a little intellectual wandering, send me a message.
I’m always up for a good chat… provided the subject is actually interesting! 😎😂

Am I Doing Divorce Wrong? Is This Calm… Normal?

After 23 years of marriage, I’m currently going through a divorce. We’ve actually been separated for about two years now, and I still haven’t really felt much grief or anxiety about it, not even missing anything.
I’m wondering if that’s normal, or if the emotions just haven’t caught up with me yet. Is it possible that the grief will hit later, once the divorce is finalized? Should I be preparing myself for a rough emotional period, or is it okay if I never really feel the need to grieve?
I’m a little worried that it might all hit me out of nowhere down the road, and I’d rather be mentally prepared if that’s a possibility and…maybe look for therapy in advance? 😄
The divorce wasn’t my idea, but I knew our marriage had been over for a long time, and that we’d both be better off living separate lives.
If anyone has gone through this path in a similar way, any advice?
