Eu vou comprar a versão “física” do jogo. A minha dúvida é se devo levantar numa loja física perto de mim que não é muito movimentada ou numa loja de um shopping tipo a do Colombo onde talvez eu possa viver aquela experiência de filas enormes e barulho, tudo atrás do mesmo. Acham que esse tipo de evento vai acontecer como foi em 2013?
I’ve been struggling with something that makes me feel really guilty, and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
My dog is almost 11 years old. When we got him, I was 6. I’ve had him for most of my life, and growing up I loved him more than anything. I genuinely enjoyed every moment with him. Taking him for walks was something I looked forward to, I loved spending time with him, and there was even a period a few years ago where I would cry at night just thinking about the fact that one day I would lose him.
But over the last 2–3 years something has changed, and I don’t understand why.
I still love him. I would never want anything bad to happen to him, and I care about him deeply. But walking him often feels more like an obligation than something I genuinely enjoy. I still like being with him, but I don’t feel the same excitement or emotional intensity that I used to.
What confuses me the most is that he’s getting older, yet I don’t remember the last time I cried because one day I will lose him. It makes me wonder if I’ve somehow become less attached to him, and that thought makes me feel awful.
Has anyone else gone through something similar with an aging pet? Is this just what happens when a relationship becomes part of everyday life, or could it mean something else?

The three I’m considering are The Witcher 3, Elden Ring and Skyrim.
The thing is, I’ve never really played an RPG before, and I’ve definitely never played a Souls game, so I’m not sure which one would be the best starting point.
I enjoy open-world games, and I don’t mind spending 100+ hours on one game if it’s worth it. I also like a good story, but one that’s not confusing, but good gameplay is just as important to me.
Which one would you recommend for someone completely new to RPGs, and why?

Eu estou a pensar em fazer a reserva do jogo e queria comprar a versão “física”, porque entre ter um jogo digital sem caixa ou um jogo digital com caixa e, possivelmente, um mapa prefiro a segunda opção, além de sair uns 15€ mais barato.
Acontece que nos retailers (wortens, fnacs), só está disponível a versão standard. E tendo em conta que eu queria o conteúdo completo do jogo (veio a saber-se que certas zonas do mapa só estarão disponíveis com a versão ultimate) eu queria fazer a pre compra dessa versão mas o problema é que essa versão só existe em digital (nas lojas das consolas) e, como já disse, prefiro optar pela versão “física” (que também não deixa de ser um código).
É possível comprar a versão física standard e posteriormente fazer upgrade pela diferença do preço? Se não, então a única maneira de ter todo o conteúdo é comprando digital?

Eu sinto que estou a precisar de uma pedicure porque tenho algumas peles mortas e sinto que preciso de um “reset” nos meus pés. Sinto que além de os deixar visualmente mais bonitos, também me deixaria muito mais confortável.
Ora, o problema é que eu tenho cócegas SEVERAS nos pés e não me consigo controlar. Confesso que tenho medo de a esteticista me estar a mexer no pé e eu, sem querer, fazer um movimento brusco e lhe dar um pontapé na cara tipo Bruce Lee. Alguém sabe se há alguma dica para me conseguir controlar?

The first Harmony Korine film I watched was Gummo about a year ago. When it ended, I thought it was the worst film I’d ever seen. I’ve watched over 600 movies, and nothing had ever made me feel as uncomfortable. I know that was exactly Korine’s intention.
A few months later I watched Julien Donkey-Boy and had a similar reaction. I hated the experience, the dirty visuals, the low image quality, everything about it (I know it’s intentional and part of Dogme 95). I didn’t even rate it because I had no idea what to think. But over time it really grew on me, and now I honestly think it’s a great film and a great representation of schizophrenia, maybe even a 5/5 movie. I hated watching it, yet it became one of the most memorable movie experiences I’ve had.
Last night I watched Baby Invasion, my third Korine film, and once again I don’t know what to think. Unlike Julien Donkey-Boy, though, I can’t find anything to connect with here. The use of AI also made it harder for me to engage with it since I don’t support generative AI in any form. I can’t figure out what Korine was trying to achieve, and right now it might even be the worst film I’ve ever seen.
Did anyone else have a similar experience with Korine’s films, where they grew on you over time? Or is Baby Invasion just a different case?
I’m 17 and I’ve always loved consuming media. Movies, games, books, etc. they’ve been my biggest hobbies for years.
The problem is that lately I feel like I can’t enjoy any of them the way I used to.
I have a movie watchlist with over 600 films. Every time I want to watch something, I spend 20–30 minutes choosing. Even when I finally pick one, I keep thinking “what if I should’ve watched something else instead?” Sometimes I even hit shuffle on the list and somehow nothing sounds appealing.
The same thing happens with games. I’m currently playing a single-player game that’s only around 8 hours long. I’ll play for about an hour, then suddenly lose all motivation and quit. Not because I think it’s bad, I just stop wanting to play.
Books are the same. I haven’t finished one in almost a year, despite genuinely wanting to get back into reading.
The weirdest part is that I’m on summer vacation, so I finally have time to enjoy all these hobbies, but instead I end up scrolling on my phone for ages. And honestly, I don’t even enjoy the scrolling that much either. It just feels easier than committing to a movie or a game.
Everything feels overwhelming. I have hundreds of movies to watch, dozens of games to play and books I want to read, yet somehow it feels like there’s nothing I actually want to do.
I tried looking for a new hobbie but nothing seems appealing. The only thing I started doing is walking around almost every night but other than that, nothing else.
All I want is to enjoy these 3 months of vacations in a way I actually like.

Eu sempre adorei consumir media. Filmes, livros, videojogos, séries, etc. são provavelmente os meus maiores hobbies.
Acontece que ultimamente sinto que já não consigo aproveitar nada da mesma forma.
Tenho uma watchlist com mais de 600 filmes. Sempre que quero ver um, passo facilmente 20 ou 30 minutos só a escolher. E mesmo depois de escolher, fico a pensar se devia ter escolhido outro. Às vezes dou shuffle na lista e, por alguma razão, não me apetece ver nenhum.
Com os livros também. Quero voltar a ler, mas já não acabo um livro há muito tempo. Os últimos que acabei prenderam durante as primeiras páginas e depois passaram-se semanas e semanas pra acabar (e alguns nem acabei porque não me queria forçar a tal).
Com os jogos acontece exatamente a mesma coisa. Estou a jogar um jogo relativamente curto, jogo durante uma hora e, de repente, perco completamente a vontade de continuar. Não é por achar o jogo mau. Simplesmente deixa de me apetecer.
O mais estranho é que estou de férias e finalmente tenho tempo para fazer todas estas coisas. Em vez disso, acabo quase sempre a fazer scroll no telemóvel e umas horas depois sinto um sentimento de culpa. E nem sequer sinto que esteja a divertir-me a fazer isso. É só “mais fácil”.
Sinto que tudo é demasiado overwhelming. Tenho centenas de filmes para ver, jogar, vários livros que quero ler, é como se quisesse fazer tudo mas ao mesmo tempo não fazer nada.
Alguém já passou por uma fase assim?
Eu estou agora de férias até setembro e queria aproveitar pra fazer algo. Tenho feito caminhadas e coisas do género mas aquilo que realmente gostava não me tem dado tanto prazer. Já tentei descobrir novos hobbies mais práticos mas nada me chama a atenção.

Estou à procura de um jogo single-player que seja grande para aproveitar e jogar nas férias.
Eu queria começar a entrar no mundo dos RPGs mas não tenho muita experiência nem conhecimento no género, por isso procuro algo que seja acessível para quem está a começar e que seja de facto um bom jogo.
Estou aberto a praticamente tudo, RPGs, mundos abertos, etc.
Os jogos que me recomendaram até agora foram The Witcher 3 e Elden Ring. Não sei bem se devo experimentar um destes ou se há alguém tem mais recomendações.
Boas, já sabemos que infelizmente não há versão “física”, mas sim uma caixa de plástico com um código lá dentro. A minha questão é, uma vez que fazendo a pré compra digital eu tenho acesso a fazer o download no dia 11 de novembro (mas jogar apenas no dia 19) se as lojas portuguesas vão deixar fazer pick up do jogo também a partir do dia 11. Não vejo porque não, vai dar ao mesmo uma vez que essa versão “física” é a mesma que a digital feita nas plataformas.
Como devem saber, hoje foi anunciado que a pré-venda do GTA 6 começa no dia 25 deste mês. Eu tenho uma dúvida, se reservar o jogo em formato físico, vou poder levantá-lo logo no dia de lançamento? Costuma haver muitas filas? E tenho garantia de que haverá uma cópia disponível para mim por ter feito a reserva?
I’ve been thinking about learning Swedish, but I have a problem: I can’t really roll/trill my R’s properly (like in Spanish, for example). Even in my native language I struggle with certain R sounds.
I see that many words are pronounced that way like “bra” or “fraga”.
Would this make Swedish very difficult to learn or speak naturally? Does Swedish rely heavily on rolled R sounds depending on the accent/dialect?
I’m still really interested in the language and culture, so I’m wondering if it’s still worth learning despite that.
Hey everyone, I’m fascinated by the Swedish culture and I want to learn the language but I don’t know what’s the best way to do it online for free. Is there a YouTube channel, an app or anything that could help me? Also, is Duolingo as bad as people say it is? I heard it only teaches vocabulary and not much grammar.
So I tried putting a DVD into my PS5 and it gave me a message asking to change the DVD region. The message says I can only change the region 5 times total, even if I factory reset the console afterwards.
I’m really confused because I don’t want to permanently mess something up just to watch one DVD. Has anyone else had this happen? What should I do?

Queria começar a largar o telemóvel à noite e substituir por algo mais “offline”. Tendo em conta que estou numa espécie de ressaca literária e não tenho vontade de ler livros, pensei em livros com puzzles. Ando à procura de coisas que não sejam só sudoku ou palavras cruzadas normais, mas que tenham também algum lado mais criativo, tipo uma história ou um mistério por trás que vá evoluindo enquanto vou resolvendo os puzzles.
Curtia encontrar algo que desse mesmo aquela sensação de estar a investigar ou a juntar pistas, não apenas páginas soltas de exercícios. Pode ser qualquer coisa com lógica, códigos, enigmas, o que for, desde que seja em formato livro e tenha esse lado mais interativo e imersivo.
