2026 badge swap?

Took car in for ppf and was told badges were riveted on and they were not comfortable trying to remove. I have seen others with these swapped, but wondering if they changed something in 2026. This is a FE edition and did t want to push it and risk something getting jacked up. Anyone else swapped on this year model? Going to look at the Toyota factory overlay badge to see if those may work and not look bad.

Full Car PPF - $6,998 for EXPEL Ultimate worth it over $3,297 for full front, skirts, pillars

I know there are a ton of posts in the group around pro's and cons to the full PPF on these, but wanted to get some thoughts on the quoted cost. To do the front end, side skirts, a pillars etc it was $3,297. The price for the full added $3,701. Seems like a good price based on others I have seen posted, but trying to determine if it is worth the investment on a car that I may not keep for the long haul. I purchased the car new for about $5k under MSRP and it is a weekend car that is mainly used for some mountain drives with no real plans for a bunch of track time on the car. Will be keeping the miles down on it, but the miles will be mainly country roads and maybe some highway driving for a few trips. Partial wrap seems like may be about to recoup some of the costs with the full feeling tougher. Thoughts from the group.

Sway Bar upgrade feedback

Purchased new 26 FE and car gets back from PPF and Ceramic next week. Doing some planning for the first wave of upgrades. I have seen a number of posts and recommendations that are more power based, but looking for input on tightening up the steering feel to try and get closer to that in my GR86 GR Corolla. I thought I saw a reference to a swaybar upgrade really tightening up the steering, but cant seem to find it. Looking for feedback from other fellow owners on what you have done to tighten up the steering on the car and handling characteristics. Thanks in advance.

Charge pipe upgrade worth it with stock intercooler?

I am getting ready for the first round of mods on the car, and had a charge pipe from HPS on the list of items. Was curious if others found it worth the upgrade without doing an intercooler. Below are the planned upgrades in the first wave.

Intake - SXTH

Turbo Inlet - SXTH

Pitch Mount - DeltaX 70

Short Shifter - Toyota GR (have one in 86 and great)

Charge Pipe - HPS

TurboSmart Diverter Valve

Uniden r8 or Redline 360c

Have been running 360c for a couple years on many road trips and have had good results. Seeing many post about the r8 has me wondering if I should switch one of the 360s for one. Curious about others feedback on differences and if it is worth changing over to the r8. Will be doing some longer more spirited driving this year is why I am looking for feedback.

2hr flight 2 days post opp for TKR

Edit*** Thank you for everyone's feedback and experiences. Staying local seems like best play for all the different reasons raised. I have a consultation next month with a local doctor that uses the maco robot and does same minimally invasive procedure as berger and will share results.

I am looking to schedule my knee replacement again with Dr berger in Chicago. It is a 2hr plane ride each way and they have told me many people they service fly in amd then stay 2 days post opp and fly back home.

Looking for feedback from any others who have done out of state surgery and had to fly home days after. Only other concern is if there are issues the doctor is 2hr plane ride or 12hr drive away. Dr Berger seems to be one of top surgeons with many people traveling from all over for surgery.

Here is info from theor site, says after 47 hours due to being minimally invasive.

I am new to having ppf done on cars and thus was my first experience. I was told by installer that small bubbles can happen and are to be expected as nothing is perfect. There were also glue or adhesive marks under wrap in spots where he was working on the installation that he said there was nothing he could do about. There is also a terrible seem cut on bumber below light that he said was best he could do with complexity of bumper. This seemed bogus to me based on others I have talked to but dont want to be unreasonable with expectations. For those that have had cars done are these bubbles acceptable or will go away after curing period? Also are seam cuts and edges coming up normal at this stage? I picked up a couple days ago now.

Brief driving clip taking home after exhaust was done. Will grab a better one with cabin noise this weekend on mountain run. I listened to so many exhaust clips before rolling the dice with this setup so hope may help others considering upgrade options.

Recently had rest of exhaust done on 2026 and went with the plm uel header, front pipe and catted mid pipe. They put in the defauler to avoid cel light and so far none have occurred. This was added to the Borla cat back that was already in it. Cold start is certainly pretty loud, but calms down pretty quick. Car feels like has a bit more power via butt dyno and fun factor definitely increased when carving through mountains. Wanted to share as have not seen any examples of this setup.

Had a piece of cardboard rub up against upper door panel and left the following larger mark and other small one was from fingernail when going after handle. Didn't expect interior to be so fragile.

Ordered some 303 as recommended by others, but curious to hear from others on how they have maybe handled cleaning these types of scuff or if its possible.

I am looking to add the final gr car to the stable and curious of thoughts about if the final edition is worth the 10k price difference. Dealership has both in stock and looks like 58k vs 68k for final edition. Most of features look similar and looking for feedback from current owners on thoughts.

Also curious if anyone is holding off waiting for the possible 2027 release if its a thing.

Thanks in advance.
