Other private school near Mandaluyong City that's accredited by DOST

Hello, 2nd year BSIT student here. Planning to transfer. I have an authorized withdrawal(AW) grade from my previous school.

I tried to take an exam for BSCpE in RTU Boni pero mukhang malabo dahil July 16 pa ako nag exam pero hanggang ngayon walang email, tapos puro usog pa ng sched.

PUP naman, Aug 11-14 ang sched which is tapos na pero nung 12 sana ako mag walk in para mag inquire pero may napagtanungan ako in PUP na cancel yung sched due to weather conditions din.

But, also nakalagay kasi sa PUP post na "incoming" 2nd year lang, eh nakapag 2nd year naman na ako di lang natapos.

I feel like I'm having no options again for State U. Now I'm looking for private university/college that have accredited course.

Eyeing for JRU but, not sure pa kung may accredited course.

I'm considering option na mag stop muna para makapag ipon for my tuition para atleast hindi ako naka downpayment na may extra fee kapag nag private ulit ako, kasi hinhintay ko pa ang allowance from DOST for paying my tuition. So, para isang bagsakan ng tuition and pass nalang sa DOST for reimbursement

Anak ng Anytime Fitness CEO

Lol saw this guy/g@y commenting on my post. I think I shouldn't have replied to his comment, may mental/emotional prob ata siya. No post, just negative comments ang main purpose at contribution sa community kaya gumawa ng Reddit.

Edit: sarcasm lang po ang anak ng CEO hhahaha

Cancelling membership without paying 5k fee

What will happen if I don't continue my membership by locking my card so that I won't pay monthly anymore and not paying the 5k cancellation fee by entirely ghosting them.

I understand that I will be banned from any branch but my worries are:

• Will they bother me by contacting me through. text, calls, messenger?

• if let's say I leave my card unlocked even though I've canceled by locking my card for months, will it be automatically deducted?

has anyone been able to cancel like that?

BUT 99% SURELY I WILL NOT CANCEL IT. JUST WANT TO KNOW.

Transferee schedule

Good morning, ask ko lang po sana if tuloy ba ang schedule for transferee course evaluation na Aug 11-14? Dahil maulan ngayon, baka may mga cancellation since in other schools ganun din.

Balak ko sana mag walk-in at magtanong ngayon

Anyone tried to stop for a year without passing LOA? (Need response/opinion please)

Good day,

I'm wondering if there's some of you who stop for a year and didn't passed LOA but, still able to continue their scholar benefits after successfully transferring in to another school and passing the necessary docs for the transfer?

I'm BSIT student from a trisemester private school transferred out. Planning to transfer in to state U. I already take exam in RTU for BSCpE and waiting for results.

For PUP, much better sana since I can continue my course but, in their recent post information for transfer mukhang wala talaga pag asa since for incoming 2nd year lang and no withdrawn grades, eh nag withdraw ako 1 week before mag finals.

Now, not sure if I'll pass RTU so, I'm considering the possibility na baka bawi nalang next year March pa ako nag transfer out so mag 5 months na di active scholarship ko without passing LOA.

Balak ko sana mag pasa once sure na di ako makakatuloy mag transfer in for this year pero gusto ko lang din malaman kung automatically matatanggal scholarship ko if di ako magpasa

2nd year BSIT to BSCpE. DOST transfer student

Hi, 2nd year BSIT from a trisemester private college. Also, I'm DOST 2024 scholar.

Balak ko sana mag transfer to a state U since hindi parin kaya even with scholarship since 30k per sem tapos 3 sem per year pa.

Choices:

# RTU

Course:

\> BSCpE pinaka malapit na course.

Schedule:

\> Already passed requirements (waiting for exam)

Topics/subjects:

\> Mostly Algebra, Physics, basically math (which I'm good at naman with math before) but, SHS pa nung nag aral ako algebra, pre-calculus, physics which wala rin ako masyado maalala/natutunan(?)

# PUP

Course:

\> BSIT available but, incoming 2nd ang mostly pero try ko parin mag inquire personally

Schedule:

\> Mostly end of August(26-30) start passing of docs

Topics/subject:

\> Already have an idea for topics for exam since same course

# Main Concern

I'll try parin naman both (baka sakali). But, I would like to focus on the present which is sa RTU na waiting for exam nalang. Kaya gusto ko sana mag review sa topics ng BSCpE.

# Anyone knows what topics I should review? Algebra, Physics, Pre-calculus or Calculus? Like which specific topics since last SHS pa namin subject mga yan and I don't completely understand since that time is actually my academic downfall TT

May idea naman na ako sa BSIT and I already purchase a reviewer from a successful transferee. So, maybe if you already transferred to RTU for BSCpE, do you have a reviewer?

Proper charger for Oppo A92 (charger no longer work)

Before my mom give this phone, she usually left it charging when she fall asleep. She usually awake 1-4am and me when I wake up in the morning 6-7am, I always see her sleeping while the phone is already 100% which I think there's a battery issue before she gave it to me.

Now, when my mother gave it to me December 2025, this phone actually have issue with battery since it quick to drain and takes too long to charge like literally. So, I went to North SM service center for Oppo to replace it.

So, since before my mom have it, we're using the same charger she bought (33W SUPERVOOC).

From what I know, A92 only support 18W. My mom thinks the higher the Watts the better.

MAIN ISSUE:

After I changed the battery, the quick drain, long charge no longer an issue. But, if I drained the battery to 0%, if I use the 33W charger it won't open or charge to 1% even after maybe 4-8hours of charging. But, when I use any power bank, it quickly charge to 1%, and that's only time I can use the 33W charger once it went up to 1%.

Please recommend an appropriate charger for the Oppo A92. Thanks a lot.

Expired protein shake in aqua flask

How to remove the smell of expired protein shake in my tumbler?

Repost: 2nd year student who transfer out from previous school, working as call center planning to resign since transfer exam for other school is near

Hi, DOST scholar and 2nd year college student here. I transfered out of my previous school on February. I had 6-7months before transfer schedule to open in my chosen University to transfer to which is mostly end of August is the opening for passing of documents. I worked in Tp EDSA between those time because it's depressing doing nothing. It's my 3rd month this June and sa mid-Sept ako mag 6 months.

My plan is, if 29-30 of August is the opening for transfer and I would like to get my Sept 5 payroll which I would work the days of Aug 11-25. So, August 25 would be my last day of work if I send my resignation letter July 25. Is my plan just goods?

But, naiisip ko na hindi rin kasi sure kung makakapsasa ako sa transfer exam tapos nag resign ako, sayang kung mahinto talaga ako tapos mag apply ulit ako for the meantime kaya I'm thinking na i-sure ko muna makapasa sa school at mag immediate resign if available as option dahil nabanggit ng ate at kuya ang immediate resign. Paano kaya yung immediate resign? Na-iisip ko kasi na i-tanong/discuss sa HR about paano magiging process kaso baka red flag sa kanila yun at mahirapan pa ako mag resign.

Also may 10 hours off naman kami nakukuha per month and if gagamitin ko siya end August or start September p'wede ako magkaroon ng 50 hours or 60 hours if makukuha agad yung 10 hours sa start of September.

Based on my options ano po kaya maganda gawin? It's my first job din kasi and hindi ko alam kung kanino ko itatanong sa work ko na may alam. Either one of my team senior or kahit yung naging trainer namin.

Naiisip ko kasi parang nakakahiya na malaman nila na nag trabaho lang ako dun for 5 months at baka di pa umabot ng at least 6 months, which is minimum work months para p'wede ko add sa resume next time.

Thank you in advance for any opinions😁

Stop payment without cancelling

I got a 1-year lock in, not even in 3 months now. I'm aware of 5k fee if mag cancel without finishing my contract but, ano mangyari if mag stop ako and hindi nalang ako maglalagay ng funds sa card?

• if let's say di na ako mag gym this July, so hindi ako macharge sa 1st if wala laman card ko.

• if nagkaroon ng laman card ko ng let's say July parin pero mid or end of July, or August, September 'coz it's my payroll, mag automatic parin ba na charge sila if magkaroon ng pera sa card? Like seconds, minutes, hours pumasok pera mag charge agad?

• And from what I know maba-ban sa any branch if ganun gagawin, pero if ever payagan ipapabayad parin ba sa'yo yung late fee charges kahit it takes a year na? Let's say, kung magkano man ang late fee, per week times 4, bale 4 late fee per month, tapos 1 year ka hindi nag bayad, so 4×12 = 48 late fee ang babayaran mo?

Not actually planning this, napasok lang sa isip ko haha and I already have savings naman na nakatabi for the whole remaining months for the membership.

Option for resignation as a 2nd year student temporarily working in call center at TP EDSA

I can do 30kg triceps pushdown machine but struggling with triceps cable exercise with lightest weight at 1.25/3.75

This is my routine at push day

> Pec Deck Fly (35kg, 27.5kg, 20kg, 12.5kg)

> Incline Dumbbell Press (10kg)

> Tricep Pushdown Machine (I did 27 but I feel it's easy smooth so I go 35kg and it's just right weight)

> Cable Lateral Raises (1.25/3.75)

>Tricep cable superset (1.25/3.75)

Single-arm pushdown × 12

Underhand pushdown × 12

Side pushdown × 12

> Dumbbell lateral raises (3/4/5kg)

I do my heaviest weight at 1st set then when I can't complete at 2nd set I'll go with next lighter weight to complete it.

I'm really insecure with my small arms

u/Alarmed_Gazelle_7547 — 2 months ago

Help, why did I suddenly become weak? (Also rant)

I did my 1st day(push day) earlier morning. Goods nung mga una chest, I even able to use 10kg DB incline press which is heavier than my usual na 7.5kg. I did 4kg lateral raises 3×failure which really feels so good kasi ramdam ko na sides ang nahi-hit.

After that I did a dumbbell overhead tricep extension parang naka isang set lang ako, kasi sa 2nd set hanggang 5-7 reps nalang ang nagagawa ko like 'di ko na talaga mataas.

Lumipat ako sa cable machine and I really can't push my triceps, I try different tricep variation and I really can't push it even in the lightest weight.

Last push day ko naman last week ok naman naging triceps exercises ko, which I really can say din na it also feels good kasi nahi-hit ko ang triceps ko sa cable machine last time with a heavier plates.

These past few days nakakaramdam lang naman ako ng lamig siguro dahil sa changes ng panahon. But not that serious. I work 4×11 graveyard shift and I only train Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday morning.

Naka aircon ang work ko which is medyo nilalamig din ako pero I was able to balance my body temp dahil nagtatabi ako mainit na tubig.

Pag uwi ko naman after work, pag natutulog naka boxer brief lang ako and electric fan lang naman ang meron kami pero pagising ko medyo parang masama pakiramdam ko pero slight lang which hindi ko nararamdaman sa work na naka aircon. Like pagising ko barado ilong ko or smt.

Pero na share ko lang about sa nararamdaman ko sa lamig baka yun yung reason? Pero hindi naman talaga masama pakiramdam ko na bagsak sa higaan talaga. I can normally move or function in my everyday naman, pero uminom ako biogesic bago mag workout this morning para make sure lang.

Coaching prices

A coach approached me, their approach was fine, but it didn't last long and I turned them down right away haha. It's actually embarrassing now that I might have to approach first to ask how much coaching would be, but I wouldn't really go through with coaching anyway. Any idea guys what the price range for coaching is? I know the basics already since before I started going to the gym on my own, I had subjects on gym exercises where I practiced the basics, so I gained the confidence to go to the gym alone even without a coach or anyone with me.

Is it still worth it for me to get coaching since my first job is also temporary, so I'm locked in for a year, or should I just focus my remaining money on food for recovery?

I started to sign up to AF last May 17 and before that I already doing exercises one time per week for our PE subject which I confidently say may natutunan ako from our PE since Coach din naman talaga yung prof namin dun.

Try admission again instead of transfer

I'm undergrad 2nd year IT student, currently unenrolled since nag transfer out ako from my previous school and late July/August pa ang schedule for PUP/RTU.

Ask ko lang po kung may gumawa na ng instead na mag take ng transfer exam from other schools, ang ginawa is nag take nalang ulit ng admission exam like for 1st year for new SHS grads.

I know po na for PUP incoming 2nd year ang sabi but I haven't goes to their admission office to ask directly at baka ma consider pa. For RTU naman is from previous years parang di ata nag open for transfer ang IT nila.

Pero if ever na ma consider at maka take ako ng transfer exam to either one, naiisip ko rin na baka "what if kahit mabigyan opportunity, di ko parin maipasa" kaya nagiisip ako 2nd option na mag take nalang ng LOA for a year to take admission test nakang for next year.

What's your insights po?
