New penalty system?

I drove gt7 the other day and got a penalty for track limits. However this time instead of slowing down by the lines I got to choose were to slow down.
Has this happened to anyone else?

What is your travel setup?

Obviously the x100 series makes a great travel setup. Was more curious about the interchangeable lens options.

This is my setup for my vacation in Croatia:
x-t20 with ttartisan 27mm for a compact form factor. Then I added a grip and thumbgrip for comfort. I have a soft shutter release as well but I never have used it being afraid of braking the shutter button.
I brought my 18-55mm aswell just incase I would need more flexibility.

First time shooting jpeg only as well, I usually shoot jpeg + raw but during vacation I want to be able to shoot as much as possible without having to think about filling my sd card!

Suddenly got scared of flying, doesn’t really make sense. Control need? Flying in less than 24H (mentioning boat accident and toughts of plane accident )

Hello, this is probably gonna be pretty long and messy because I don’t really understand what is going on in my brain.

so I’ve flown probably 10-15 times (round-trip)

Suddenly last year I was flying 6h from Sweden to canary island and the second I stepped on the plane I got anxious from nowhere (when I saw that it was a 737 max 8 remember getting stressed a couple days before as well since I watched the 737-8 Max documentary on Netflix a couple of months prior)

I basically raw dogged the flight just closing my eyes for 6 hrs. It was really bad because I was super anxious about the flight home wich went a little better because i downloaded some podcast to listen to. But still very anxious wich never have happened previously.

I was relieved when we landed again after 6.

In November last year we went on a worktrip to Riga and I was anxious about the flight. A small a220.
Ended up getting a bit drunk on the way there and the way home was pretty ok (I was hungover and to tired to be afraid) but still felt anxious wich I again never felt before. My guess is it feels better when it is a short flight.

Just as I’m writing this I remember a flight I did in 2023 that would scare the f outta of me today.
It was an domestic flight less than an hour on a small plane. Trough a thunder storm and we couldn’t land so we circled the airport for 15-20 minutes, I remembered taking videos and pictures of the clouds lighting up the sky being calm as a child I didn’t care or wasn’t scared at all.

I think I have a clue on what is causing my fear of flight. 2024 in Albania we had a really sketchy moment on a small boat during a thunder and hail storm. The boat started taking in water and I tought that we were about to die. It is the only near death experience I’ve ever had.
I remember the feeling of not having control over the situation as the main trauma.
The day after that we were on a bustrip trough the mountains that didn’t feel safe as well.
However the flight home went fine and I wasn’t scared.
I think it could be that underlaying trauma that is revealing itself.
Or if it is my frontal lobe/cortex that has developed fully (im 27).

On the other hand im a gear head. I love acceleration and driving fast (closed roads) and I never feel scared when I’m pushing my car.
Want to get a motorcycle that I know for a fact is very dangerous.

So does anyone have clue or similar situation, I’m flying in 14-15 hours, it’s a 2,5h flight on a 737 max 8 arlanda-split and my nerves is starting to get the best of me.

I know logically I’m fine but my feeling is pushing that aside.

A little tought that helped me a bit is this:
Imagine if someone asked me: do you want to bet 1000$ that this specific airplane is going to crash. If it does you get 1000x on your money.

I would never even consider taking that deal knowing logically it won’t happen.

So any tricks or tips that might help would be appreciated!

Help with repairing quartz movement

Hello, so a little backstory about my tissot gentleman.
Got this watch in 2024, it got condensation in it during the summer so I took out the movement and put in silica bags for 24h and then put everything back together. After that the clock has been sitting and I’ve been using my other watch. I’m pretty sure it worked when I used it last time.
Now I want to use the watch again so I tried changing the battery and the second had came to life again. And then I stopped….. it seems like it gets stuck randomly after 15-60 seconds.
Is there any parts i can check or try to clean myself or is it better to just give it up?
The movement is to my understanding a ETA F06.115.

Cheap replacement movement?

So I got this used in early 2024, got a water damage after a swim during the summer. The clock stopped completely.
Took out the movement and put in a bowl with silica gels for 24h and it started ticking again.
After that I got another watch to use daily and I noticed that the tissot had stopped again (late 2024). My guess is that the movement is propably water damaged.

Now I would like to use this as a daily, I’m going to try and change the battery to see if it’s only a bad battery , however I’m not very hopeful so I was wondering if there are any cheap movement I can replace the oem movement with that is ammonia straight forward installation?

Any tips or recommendations are appreciated!

Just got the Fuji 18-55mm F2,8-4 lens, best kit lens i have shot with(X-T20)

Such a brilliant lens for the money, having this + a really bright prime and you are basically set for any situation.
