I have been playing on the Sim and with a few starter decks for about a year. I want to buy my first deck to take to an ascent. What deck should I purchase to be competitive? With the new B&R, I guess my question is; what deck is worth investing the money into that will be competitive with the new set releasing next month?

Is there a way to play via similar or with physical cards online? I know WB, but I mean the TCG side of the game to practice for events without a local community.
I live in a country that does not sell elestrals but my friend is going back to the US for a business trip. What deck should I get? I would like to start playing online. I have played 50ish games in Beta, I will be honest. In Alpha the gameplay was not that great but Beta has improved the game a lot. The game feels more fluid and functional. But, so many people are saying it’s a pump and dump or ends in a year? What does everyone think? I have even seen content creators saying the game is horrible and not to play. I really want to go all in with this game but I feel hesitant due to so many negative perspectives that I am not seeing by playing the game.
With the continuous misplays being done on stream, one can only imagine the misplays happening off stream. Should Riot not simplify the rules and make the wording easier? Also, should priority windows not be acknowledged before proceeding? Players play so fast that it limits their opponents chance to respond.

I was playing on TCGA and had some questions,
First, can reactions be played after deploying a unit to base on your turn or do they have to be activated in a particular window? Example, playing Gust after playing a unit at base.
Second, can you play actions during a showdown? If you attack, I was of the understanding you could play actions during a showdown. It did not have to be a reaction exclusively.
Last, does a card get assault while a unit is holding at the battlefield on your turn? Example, if Rengar is holding; he does not get assault.
I thought I understood these correctly, but it seems I need clarification.
I been playing with the starter decks for about a year, I signed up for the championship event at Gen Con and I was hoping to get some suggestions for an affordable competitive deck.
Is anyone actually excited for this new Bandai TCG? In an already saturated market and Bandai having so many games already. Everyone I have talked to, is disappointed and frustrated by this decision.
Where I currently live, no one plays standard or any other format besides commander. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on how to branch off of this? I would love to be able to play standard, pioneer, or pauper. Ideally modern, but that is a fantasy. I tried building and sharing decks. Everyone’s only interested is in commander and everything else is practically dead, even sealed. Which I would argue that draft, sealed, cube. Are some of the best formats to play. Thanks in advance.
Has anyone else experienced this, due to the nature of TCGA being automated, where your opponent makes a misplay you explain the rules of why they cannot due X. They argue that they can and proceed with the misplay. If so, how did you handle it?
May I ask the discords that allow online play and host events?
Since the price increase, has anyone else’s locals dropped? A few people I know sold their collection and moved on. Others are frustrated they cannot get product to build decks and decks cost more. One of the best things about the game was you could get every deck for an affordable price. Now it seems impossible.
