Hot Hold in the Yoder?
Lots of discussion here about holding brisket and pork butt in an oven set at 150 F. Is there any reason not to just dial the Yoder back to 150 and leave the meat inside it until ready to serve?

It's been a while since I smoked a pork butt. I plan to put an 8-pounder on a Yoder 640 around 6:30 tomorrow morning, with the temp set to 275 F. How long of a cook am I looking at?
The cinnamon rolls at Roosevelt Market are delicious. The glaze has a warm note that I can't quite place. Nutmeg?
Anyone here know what it might be?
r/sunglasses recently added to the sub rules the following requirements for "legit-check" posts. Mods, please consider adding them (or something similar) to this sub's rules.
>Requirements for Legit-Check Posts
Legit checks must have photos of the whole sunglasses, inside and outside, with all available information. Posters need to provide a reason why they have a concern and make an effort to determine authenticity before asking the sub. The sunglasses must have already been purchased by the poster, not just a listing.
I would suggest adding that the poster needs to say where the glasses were purchased or otherwise obtained. (If they were purchased from an authorized Ray-Ban retailer, they aren't counterfeit.)
I suppose it goes without saying, but perhaps say as well that all text shown in the images must be large and clear enough to be legible.
"Ray-Ban sunglasses are made in Italy and China. While originally an American brand, production moved after Luxottica acquired Ray-Ban in 1999. Today, both countries manufacture Ray-Ban eyewear under the same quality standards and materials."
Tempted to post about inferior "Made in China" Ray-Bans? I suggest that you read this article first.
BTW, Ray-Bans are also made in Thailand, Japan, and Brazil.
PS: Know why iPhones are made in China? According to Tim Cook, it's primarily because the workmanship, skills, and expertise of the workforce far exceed that of the American workforce. In other words, "Made in Chine" doesn't necessarily mean "inferior product."
Saudi Arabia is key to the bull case after ImmunityBio launched Anktiva there for certain patients with bladder and lung cancer.

My wife and i stay at FS whenever possible, but we have yet to stay at FS Seattle even though we travel to Seattle three or four times a year. Rates seems to average about $900+/night, much higher than other high-mid to top-tier hotels in the city. Is it because there are no other 5-star hotels? Is it because the FS Seattle is catering to wealthy people coming to Seattle to catch a cruise ship?
If you've stayed there, is it worth the premium price? Why or why not?
I'm looking RECOMMENDATONS for a provider of medical pedicures. I would prefer an RN or licensed medical-pedicure technician. Bonus if they provide mobile, in-home visits.
I thought I had located an outfit run by two licensed techs out of a building on State Street, but I can't find them now.
EDITED for those who can't read for comprehension.
AI Overview
Germany's Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) has launched an application-accompanying data collection (AbD) assessment process for ImmunityBio's oncology drug, Anktiva (nogapendekin alfainbakv), for bladder cancer. This pre-launch process allows for data generation and structured registry tracking before full commercial availability and standard AMNOG price negotiations conclude.
An AbD assessment—a mechanism often utilized for innovative drugs that show high therapeutic promise but require additional real-world data to fully determine their long-term clinical value—involves several key elements:
Barry J. Simon, a director at IBRX, has notified the SEC that he intends to sell 268,033 of IBRX common stock with an aggregate value of $2,946,500.17. What is the significance of this filing, if any?
He bought the securities on 12/31/2013, so selling them might just be profit-taking.
I let grease accumulate on the heat deflector of my YS640S, and shortly after bringing it up to temp I had a raging grease fire going. Got me to thinkin about using a disposable foil pan filled with water to collect any grease dripping from whatever I'm cooking. Have any of you done this? What's your experience been?
EDIT: When I view this trip on the website, the first thing I see is this message:
>Your flight number has been changed. If the new schedule doesn't meet your needs, you can cancel your trip for a full refund.
Earlier this year I discovered that I had a $395 credit in Wallet Funds that was going to expire soon, so I used it to book two round-trip, refundable tickets. Total cost = $1,233.60 ($615.80 X 2). My credit card was charged $836.60 ($1,233 - $395).
I want to cancel the reservation. When I go the Cancel page on the AS website, I get the following message:
I think what this means is "If your wallet credit hasn't yet reached is original expiration date, we will deposit $395.00 into the My Wallet account of the original buyer." I'm pretty certain that the credit has expired, because I remember having to quickly make the reservation to use the credit.
So can I expect a credit to my card for the full amount, effectively converting the wallet credit to cash?
4.5 hours at 225 F. They were delicious. Served with mac-and-cheese, coleslaw slaw, dill pickles, and cantaloupe.
While cooking ribs for dinner tonight, I tossed unseasoned octopus on a bed of iceberg lettuce at 225 F for 90 minutes. Turned out great: tender and moist, with just the right amount of smokiness. I'll probably incorporate it into a charcuterie platter or make an octopus salad roll. Other suggestions?
Title pretty much says it all.
Buyer's first offer was 31% off of the $79.89 listing price. My counter-offer meets him halfway between his first offer and the listing price, or 16% off of the listing price.
Upon receiving his second, $40.00 offer, I replied "You're kidding, right? If I rejected your offer of $55.00, why in the blue-eyed froggy world would I accept an offer of $40.00? My counter-offer stands at $67.45. Take it or leave it."
The drop in price of 20+% a few months ago was largely attributed to the FDA's warning letter in conjunction with the announcement that four law firms were seeking plaintiffs for class-action lawsuits. Of the two events, I think that the FDA's letter was more consequential than the lawsuits, and that people overreacted to the announcements about the lawsuits. Here's why:
Your thoughts?
I'm looking for an Eastern European grocery store that carries Ćevapi (or ćevapčići.
Marty Makary has resigned as FDA Commissioner, presumably ahead of being fired. What are your thoughts about the implications of his resignation for ImmunityBio and Anktiva?

We buy fantastic salmon and halibut from an Alaskan family that comes to our town twice a year. Last time they were here I got a couple half-pound packages of whole octopus. I've had plenty of grilled octopus at restaurants, but I'd like to try smoking some. Any suggestions or tips? Or should I stick to grilling it?
