5 reasons I think dire miralis will make a return in ascendance
My theory is that dire miralis will take its long deserved return with the addition of the swimming mechanics and the new traversal methods. Reasons why I believe dire miralis will be in ascendence.
1 scarlet forest. Its not a coincidence the water is red but that is already explained as the sap.
2 the huge ocean and monuments in the scarlet forest, it would make no sense for the scarlet forests huge monuments to only be used in one fight, uth duna, so why not have a huge monster in scarlet tides craw over the horizon and into the forest to be fought.
3 the addition of the swimming mechanic back in, the addition of the swimming mechanic most deffinently feels like it would be added in more fights other than lagicrocus so it could be something new, or something like ceadeus or dire miralis.
4 the long wait, it has been many many generations sense dire miralis has been fought in a game, if alatreon and fatalis where in world, and the new influx of players, would it not make sense for one of the games strongest monster to return and be new for PC and council players.
5 the lore, lore wise the sinking of massive islands and sailors would be more prevalent, especially with the extensive ocean area of wilds, i feel as if the creature would find its way to the forbidden lands to pose a threat to sailors and guild members alike, maybe the reason zo Shia was made was for an apocoliptic level threat like dire miralis and slaying zo shia and the calming of the dragonheart would have re awoken a dire miralis in dormancy, that as well as the return of many Gen 4 monsters, i feel as if its even more likely there will be multiple Gen 3 monsters making a return in ascendence.
I dont know, maybe there was only one dire miralis, but it feels very weird for one of the 3 black dragons to never make a return again even though it was activly in the main game. Ps I would like to see frontier monsters in ascendence too but I know that likely wont happen.
