I tried

It was my first time trying to grow garlic and it sort of worked. I have a feeling I planted them at the wrong time? Any advice and times on when to plant for next year would be amazing!

Also Would I be able to use these to try and grow garlic again?

Yes, I'm A Trans Airsofter... No, It's Not That Deep.

This is my friend's video and I'm sharing it on her behalf. It's a good watch and quite funny. Her other videos are peak as well!

Cardiology appointment

I had an appointment with a cardiologist this morning. I was hoping to get some help with my suspected POTS, but instead I basically got dismissed and told "it could go away in a few years"

At the moment my symptoms are "mostly" managed with beta blockers but with the heat and upcoming summer I can already see and feel things are getting worse.

I was hoping this appointment I have waited for a year maybe longer would give me some more help, a diagnosis or something! The doctor only gave me online resources of which I knew about and have read about 20 times and told me to drink water. He also said that there's no point in diagnosing the different types of POTS as they are all basically the same.

I'm just a bit pissed off and needed to vent to people that might understand. likely none of this makes sense. I just have no clue what to do from here anymore other than keep pushing though and hoping the meds keep working for now.

Realistic Air guns (UK)

Hey all,

I'm just looking at some new air guns and have come across some that are replicas of the glock 17, Beretta and a few other brands. These are sold by licensed firearms dealers in the UK. I was just wondering what the legality of owning these would be in the UK.

From what I can tell you don't need a license to own or use them as they are still under the pressure amount before needing a license.

However with them looking like a real firearm with no real way to tell it's an air gun from afar unless you hear it shoot how would you be allowed to use them? Would you have to go to a club to shoot them or would you still be allowed to use them in a garden setting like a standard air rifle and following air rifle rules and safety?

I hope this makes sense and thanks for any information I might get!

Hillsteams enjoying life!

I adore my hillstream loaches, for a good few months I only have one (Lovecraft) and recently brought two more reticulated hillstream loaches (Toffee and Caramel) they seem to be loving life in their new home! They are accompanied by 5 cloud mountain minnows and 3 danios. Oh and Jeffy the platy who was sent to this tank for being too "active" with female platys.

Just curious

I'm just curious, I've come across this community a few time when looking though Reddit and stuff for advice. I was just wondering what a CNA is and what y'all kinda do? Is it work for care homes/old folks homes and is CNA an American term or general term used around the world?

Just venting I guess

Last night I went to bed mostly dry, but woke up about 3am ish to a wet feeling around me. Turns out I had leaked. I'm just annoyed as I couldn't change my bedding and was just basically stuck laying in a wet diaper and bed for the night. I tucked a blanket under me so I didn't have to feel the wet bed as much but now I'm awake I realise that I now have a mattress, blanket, and sheets to clean! I'm just annoyed at myself I guess.

I was wondering if anyone knows of some loaches I could put in a UK wildlife pond? I know there are (I believe) stone loaches that are native to the UK but does anyone know of other loaches that would do well in a pond?

This likely isn't the place to ask or post this but I'm curious if anyone could ID this fish i saw today when walking along the river? They were beautiful with the colours coming off them under the sun and water. Almost blue with the shimmer which my camera doesn't pick up.
