Do you guys think VI should have a theme park location? Some type of amalgamation of Disney World, Universal, and many others, I am very curious to hear your thoughts

I've been very curious about this premise, Florida is known for its amusement parks, it has multiple world class tourist attractions, and we've heard about Fairy Land alongside plenty of fake leaks, so what does everybody think?

What are our hopes for The Mandela Catalogue movie?

I think there is a lot that could be done with The Mandela Catalogue and I am really interested to hear what everybody wants out of this film!

Some things from me are:

●Connective tissue to webseries, TMC should compliment the movie not feel completely separated or recycled

●Give Gabriel a presence, but only show him once, the rest of his cameos should be Easter-Eggs like appearing in a painting or mention of his biblical character through churches or architecture (a statue of Gabriel archangel).

●Explore the difference between an alternate trying to disguise itself and an alternate unaware that it is unaware that its disguised (Whats the difference between Adam Murray and The Intruder).

Man of Tomorrow will be the first MAJOR hit of the DCU

The idea of Superman and Lex Luthor joining forces to defeat Brainiac is such a golden idea, it will be incredibly entertaining to see these two arch enemies who despise each other having to banter and cooperate

I think Superman 2025 was successful, but it has nowhere near the potential of this film, the universe has a bit more time too breath now, there will be room for friendly rivalry, irony that Lex likes Clark he just doesn't like Superman, humor in their identities clashing while they're forced to work together.

Mark my words, this will not just be a great superhero film, it will be a great MOVIE, it will stand by itself as a fantastic piece of cinema that also happens to build hype for the DCU, I think this will go down in history as a cult classic, and no I don't expect a giant avengers team up, nor do I want that, I just think the idea of a villain & hero buddycop movie is INCREDIBLE.

Thank you for your time everybody

I miss smaller scale Avengers movies of Avengers 1, Age of Ultron and Civil War, I think the multiverse saga should've had something similar

Ogun should be the leader of The Hand in Brand New Day; it would fit the hands samurai vibes and make a lot of sense for a mind controlling villain, I think you could have an awesome final fight with Spiderman fighting Ogun in his dying body

This would also fit the rumors of Silver Samuri appearing, Ogun could be leading dangerous assassins from his homeland to take out Spiderman

IMO Something the DCU needs to separate itself from the MCU is rivalries, every hero with a solo-franchise should have their reoccurring antagonist even if the dynamic and scope of the role changes in each film

I don't know where the sweet spot for Joker is here but he is a MUST

I'm so tired of people defending the FNAF movie, Blumhouse completely missed the mark for the uncanniness of the animatronics and the claustrophobia that made the games so scary. (Rant)

For years I have heard people defend the FNAF movie and it has always irked me the wrong way, these arguments have always been "Well it can't take place in an office" or "But OP the animatronics are the souls of children!" and I would like to explain why I strongly dislike both of these consensuses.

Argument 1: The "office is boring" argument- I've heard many fans say that the majority of the film taking place inside the office or even the Pizzaria would be ridiculous and really wouldn't translate to film. I think this take is absurd, just look at Markipliers Iron Lung taking place exclusively inside a submarine or another film that came out this year, Undertone, it was terrifying despite the only two set pieces being bedroom and the living room, both of these movies have proven you can have a super effective minimalist horror movie! It would be a terrifying phycological horror film having to check buzzy security cameras, close these loud industrial doors, use lights and conserve power, and it doesn't HAVE to only take place in the office, you can have the security guard investigate strange occurrences, clean or fix the animatronics just like Help Wanted and it would all be super high tension! Seriously it is baffling to me how the fandom does not have any faith in Freddy Fazbears Pizza, the centerpiece location of their franchise to tell an effective horror story, guys, I don't know if you've heard but we're getting a movie called Whalefall. It's about a scuba diver trapped in a whale's stomach, so being digested with a squid for an hour can be a good story, but monitoring a haunted arcade with cursed mascots can't?

Argument2: The "They're just kids" argument- This drives me especially crazy; in the first game a lost art was the uncanniness of the animatronics and how they acted, in the movie Freddy and his gang feel so expressive and alive, it's as if the suits were meant for the souls of children. In the game, that's the creepy part, the spirits of the children are salvaging what they can of the animatronics as inanimate vessels, you can tell with the Chica and Foxy's unhinged jaws and how the animatronics soullessly shamble around in Help Wanted, these vessels just barely work. Whenever the children try to scream, they're corpses lungs have been punctured by the springlock suit only allowing them to release a raspy groan. The children's spirits are clearly in anguish and want to be freed, proven by poster easter-egg in FNAF1s west hall corner, you can see Freddy trying to rip his head off his jaw, symbolizing how the kids feel trapped and want to free themselves from the suits. Being children does not excuse the animatronics to ride Taxis and build forts, they are constantly confused and in-anguish, that's why William Afton is so evil, he doesn't just stab children and make them apart of the Freddy Posse, he puts children in eternal anguish, there's no fun in making forts when you can feel your lungs punctured and your tendons severed, it just comes off as goofy and directed exclusively towards the children part of the audience.

Thank you to anyone who read out my entire rant, I really hope Scott considers this but unfortunately, I feel the best of the franchise has already been fumbled, FNAF3 Movie will be the end of an era for this franchise so I really hope it delivers a faithful game experience.

Beyond Spooked Straight - ghostly Adam Sandler and his paranormal companions have failed to scare their mansions caretaker, but when the housekeepers girlfriend brings a cursed artifact into their manor, they encounter a malevolent entity that even spooks the spirits

In this film the main cast would be

  • Adam Sandler: The ghostly owner of the mansion died when his business partner poisoned him to inherit the property but he left due to the haunting.
  • Seth Rogan: Plays as an expressive CGI sheet-ghost, died from drunk horseback riding and got thrown into a tree next to the manor.
  • Chippy: a mute ventriloquist dummy inspired by Slappy from Goosebumps, his face expressions would change cartoonishly like the ghostface mask in Scary Movie, his only form of speech is grunts and cackles. He's the spirit of a teenager who played with fireworks and got blown up.
  • The Caretaker: The only human lead in the film, he is fed up with Adam Sandler and the other spirits trying to scare him, so him and his girlfriend have grown accustomed, maybe a less known actor for this role?

Story: Adam Sandler and the other spirits have grown fond of the caretaker, but they despise his girlfriend due to throwing parties at the manor and worst bringing a haunted relic, The Devils Casket, a red leather chest with a Satanic Ouija Board inside into the mansion, and they're biggest rule was that no outside spirits were allowed. After using the Ouija board a demonic entity starts terrorizing the ghosts and worse, they have to save the caretaker from meeting their same fate.

The Villain: The villain would be a mysterious spirit named Pandom, it would turn into a doppelgänger of the caretaker, his girlfriend and the mortal forms of the ghosts, it would establish itself, it would utilize the fear of the uncanny valley and exploit their identities for trickery, when pretending to be a human it moves and speaks in an unnatural way. Pandom would be established as a major threat by killing the girlfriend and then consuming her soul when Sandler and the more experienced spirits try to help her become accustomed to being a ghost.

Genre: It would start as a light-Halloween comedy but turn into a black comedy with deep phycological horror.

Zombie Survival FPS, A project I'm working on

Zombie System: Zombies will sprint after players viscously cluttered together in fast-paced hordes, instead of damaging you normally they'll grab you, carrying you around and letting their fellow infected tear you apart. While being grabbed you will be considered "Carried" and passively take damage, every other infected to contact you while you are already being carried will take your limb in a hangman esc system.

Hangman Carry System:

  • Touch Carried 1: The player will lose their right arm
  • Touch Carried 2: The player will lose their left arm
  • Touch Carried 3: The player will lose their right leg
  • Touch Carried 4: The player will lose their left leg
  • Touch Carried 5: the player will be decapitated (Instant Death)

Recovery System: Players can recover from losing their limbs utilizing various objects around the map.

  • Dirt & Grass: The player can fill amputated wounds with Dirt & Grass to prevent bleeding out.
  • Wheelchair: Any survivors without legs can sit in rusty rocket-wheelchairs allowing them to blast around and even glide rapidly.
  • Need-A-Hand Machine: A vending machine that sells zombie limbs, players can spend Blood Vessels to buy a new limb for their amputated body.

Game-Currency: Blood Vessels will be collected instantly after killing a zombie.

Zombie Dismember System: When you shoot zombies head they die instantly but you can shoot off other limbs for bonus points before they die, they will be much slower without limbs.

Blockage Mechanic: Players can block doors & windows to prevent zombie invasions

  • Wood Planks: Block doors and windows, low durability
  • Locks: Locks act as a superior alternative to the wood plank but can be stacked on the prior.
  • Explosives: Kill zombies upon blocking zones being invaded.

Is The Incredible Hulk really "The Incredible Fraud" like The Immortal?

It seems like he's going to lose to Spiderman in Brand New Day

The first 10 years of DCU should be the "Villain Saga" and it culminates in these 3 movies

So, I have a full story here that people need to read before it makes sense!

World's Finest: Superman and Batman team up due to the unpredictable collaboration between Joker and Lex, includes coercion of other villains such as Parasite and Scarecrow. Film ends with Batman & Superman technically winning but Lex Luthor and Joker reveal their true mastermind plan, the Legion of Doom.

Legion of Doom: Forever Evil - The Legion of Doom is a team of villains, a political party and a criminal enterprise seeking world domination, it is called Forever Evil because there is no Justice League yet so there are no group of heroes capable of stopping the Legion of Doom. This film would essentially be the DCU answer to Vought and The Boys, we'll see the collaboration of tons of rogues even yet to be seen in the DCU. The film will end on a bleak cliffhanger with the world being taken over by supervillains. The post-credit will be Batman communicating with Hal Jordon about a team.

The Justice League: Batman unites a team of heroes to end the Legion of Dooms world domination, the end of this saga would mark the creation of the Justice League, Green Lantern, Hawk Woman, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, The Flash, AquaMan, no Cyborg. This team will end villainous world domination and conclude the saga with a team of familiar heroes and a rogue's gallery of familiar villains.

Unlike most license situations, Warner Brothers owns both on-screen interpretations of IT, so that means we could get Tim Curry and Bill Skarsgard as skins!

u/Ambitious_Two2671 — 29 days ago

Would you be interested in a joke paragraph as a onetime thing?

I think it could be pretty fun if we got one joke killer, it would throw the community off and the DBD fandom is notorious for their memes, imagine what would be done with something like this, imagine a blocky Herobrine making the old damage sound when he gets stunned or Baldi killing a survivor by spanking them with his ruler

The 3rd act of Brand-New Day will be a battle between Spiderman and The Incredible Hulk, Spidey will use anti-gamma webs to neutralize him but by the time Hulk turns into Banner Pete is already in critical condition from losing the fight, Doctor Banner will revive Parker with a symbiote vile

With the overwhelming success of Kane Parsons Backrooms do you guys think Alex Kister's religious horror web series about uncanny valley demons, The Mandela Catalogue, deserves a chance on the big screen? (NO SPOILERS)

Alex Kister already has a finished script for this film and is looking for a director to take him up on turning his analog horror series into a fleshed-out feature length film akin to Kane Parsons backrooms, just to be clear, I highly doubt Alex would intend this to be an "analog movie", I also doubt that format would ever work on the big screen as if Skinamarink wasn't warning enough. Alex's later volumes have moved past the "Analog Constraints" exploring found footage, Claymation and even live action through his series.

Off-Topic: I was not a fan of The Mandela Catalogue at the peak of its popularity, while I loved the concepts utilized, I thought the stretched faces were incredibly goofy and the editing was quite lacking. While it did kickstart the trend of Analog Horror to the general audience, it also introduced some of the worst elements that simultaneously ruined the genre. Ironically, I think much of Alex Kister's best work happened after his popularity and the pinnacle of his volumes came way later, with Vol6 being my favorite of the series.

For those unfamiliar: The Mandela Catalogue is an internet horror series where the biblical angel, Gabriel is revealed to be a malevolent entity that terrorizes a small county by sending out body-snatcher esc demons known as Alternates to steal the identities of the locals. The uncanny valley comes from the alternates being less of a perfect imitation like The Thing and working more like a crappy printer with facial features, body proportions being deformed or distorted.

The Mandela Catlogue honestly deserves the A24 treatment just like Kane Parsons Backrooms

I think Kister has gotten good enough at the bread and butter of TMC that with the script being worked on A24 could be a great way to launch this film as an indie religious-horror piece.

I'm really hoping that Born Again S3 gives Matt this outfit while he's spending time in prison, it'd be so cool in live action

Multiverse Saga:

  • Avengers Doomsday: Doom is destroying universes for the good of the multiverse and thinks a doomsday is near, so he salvages the multiverse into Battleworld, meanwhile a small group of heroes escape to the Life Raft and are left unaffected by Dooms Battleworld shenanigans.
  • Avengers Battleworld: A whole film dedicated to the Life raft heroes surviving on Battleworld, Doom has achieved everything he's wanted and spends much of the film getting screentime is a dictator making bargains and exchanges with enemy territories, there'd be multiple variant-themed continents that get fleshed out in this film. Film sets up a secret war to overthrow Dooms governance.
  • Avengers Secret Wars: War breaks out on Battleworld and Empire Doomstadt begins to collapse as a society and a government, Doom is furious and the film ends with the heroes trying to kill Doom and safe the multiverse, but Doom will not allow this to happen and destroys Battleworld, and he merges the leftover fragments of the multiverse to create an "Ultimate MCU" Timeline where there is no multiverse and nobody remembers it, but there's mutants, avengers, Fantastic4, aliens and a couple Spider-People all in one universe. Doom will still be alive but he won't remember the multiverse saga, he will simply be ruling over Doomstadt in Latveria and he will terrorize heroes in the Mutant Saga, presumably with a different actor!

Mutant Saga:

  • Fantastic Four 2: This will be about the Annihilation Wave and feature Captain Marvel, Doctor Doom will feature in a small post-credit scene.
  • Xmen 1: A simple introductory film about Mutants and the X-Mansion, Professor X will be developing his team of gifted students, there will be minor B-tier villains but the chemistry being built between characters will be far more important. Magneto will be seen only on TV as a controversial but beloved public speaker who acts as the leader of Genosha.
  • Magneto Solo Film: Magneto will have his own WW2 Solo film about being a Jewish holocaust survivor and the oppression that the Germans held over mutants, viewing them as freaks of nature and tormenting them in public humiliation rituals, live executions and even freak circus acts. This film sets up Magneto as an anti-hero for the Xmen reboot.
  • Black Panther 3: The villain of this film will be Doctor Dooms daughter Valeria, she will be attempting to conquer Wakanda for their vibranium and technology with the help of Doombots, Victor will only cameo until the very end of the film when Wakanda has been conquered successfully.
  • Xmen 2: A film about The Mutants truly using their chemistry to assemble both a team and a family, their first villain will be Mr. Sinister who wants to abduct Mutants to make the perfect race, Magneto will visit the X-Mansion as a supporting character who is a good friend of Prof. Xavier. The post credit scene of this film will be an unseen flashback to Mr. Sinister discussing how has already abducted some specimens for Doom to study while they communicate over a hologram and Doom speaks of how, he is pleased that these mutants can benefit his work.
  • Fantastic Four 3: The end of their trilogy, this will culminate in a classic Fantastic 4 versus Doctor Doom story, Victor Von Doom wants to expand his territory beyond Latveria by invading foreign countries and he plans to start by invading Manhattan so he can take over the Southeastern corner of the US until he can expand his influence, this film will culminate in Dooms first stalemate and he retreats until the next film.
  • Xmen 3: A film with themes of discrimination and segregation, Bolivar Trask reaches out to congress and passes the law that mutants are illegal aliens and must move to Genosha while his sentinel's shoe mutants onto foreign ground and kill many of them. The film will end with a post-credit scene of Trask stepping out of his private jet on Latverian soil to discuss how the Mutants have been successfully relocated, Doom will be pleased and talk about how his plan can commence, Trask will ask for his share of money that they agreed upon, Doom refuses, Trask crashes out and pesters Doom till he gets his neck snapped.
  • Xmen4: Doctor Doom has finished conquering Wakanda and used it's advances to benefit his technology, now he intends to takeover Genosha so he can study Mutant DNA to better the human race. This film will be about a rivalry between Magneto and Doctor Doom, fighting over Genosha, the film will end with a rematch between the Fantastic 4 and Doctor Doom, after a tough battle in the fallout of Genosha the FF will lose and Reed will talk with Doom about how together they can make a better world without his hubris, and Victor can have a family, for the first time ever Doctor Doom shows a glimmer of kindness, saying that although he has never agreed with Reed he respects him as an inventor for mankind and a mentor to his family, and he will honor their legacy in death, when suddenly Magneto takes this opportunity to kill Doctor Doom with the surrounding debris of Genosha.

What does this story accomplish? It makes Doctor Doom the irrefutable big bad of not just the multiverse saga but the MCU in general, he will have come out victorious nearly 2 sagas in a row, I think it really fits Doom to be so formidable that he could only lose to his own hubris, he already conquered the multiverse, but that wasn't enough, he had an insatiable hunger for complete domination, because no world is perfect without his control.
