Best way to find streamers looking for new/fun content?

I'm a solo dev who just started reaching out to streamers about a speedrun challenge running until the end of August.

I'm finding a bit tedious, to go to Twitch, find a streamer I think that would enjoy the game, follow them on socials, send a message, wait.

I'm just wondering if there are some place where small streamers look for content ideas/games to play?

I'm aiming to get 8 more people on the leaderboard before the end of the month :)

Thanks for the help!

😅 POV: When You realize there is a skip in your own Speedrun Challenge ...

I've added a speedrun challenge in my game, and I realized there is a skip you can use by simply quitting out of the last group stages game... 😅

Another player realized around the same time, so in the end I decided to let people use this skip

Why does my brain do this???

I was going to use the World Cup as the main marketing event to try get more eyes on my indie football game....

I started streaming, posting on YouTube, TikTok etc. Slowly I started seeing a few players jump in a play a couple of games. Nothing crazy, but I could see how doing this constantly can bring players over time.

So naturally instead of focusing on things I'm supposed to do (streaming, Clipping, posting), I wanted to see if removing texture images will actually have a big impact on mobile perf. Because VRAM is massive issue with mobile phones and Browser games...

Well... It did 😅

So here I am in the middle the biggest re-write of the project so far... But I like where it's heading. I am now at less than 4MB size:

"68 requests

3.8 MB transferred

7.4 MB resources"

I've also tested the game on a potato PC with these specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4440 (3.10 GHz)

GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4600 (Integrated)

RAM: DDR3

Ran the game pretty well at 40-45 fps on Ultra settings 😎 (up from 30-35 fps)

My mid-tier mobile now is feeling so much smoother as well (some fps drops here and there, but overall around 55-60 on Ultra settings)

So now I'm onto re-writing the entire customization section, so instead of using textures I'll be creating different customizable shaders.

But I still wish sometimes I could just focus on things I'm supposed to be doing 😅

Does anyone else feel this way??

Usual SLA for Support Tickets?

I just created a ticket yesterday but no response yet.

The issue is quite funny, as I'm actually trying to upgrade to Pro but I can't.

There is an invoice on my account (from June 2025....) which was paid, but the outstanding invoice is still there.

And because there is an outstanding invoice on my account I can't upgrade 😅

I Let My Indie Football Game's Bots Make FIFA World Cup Predictions

I've recently added a World Cup mode to me football game and thought, why not let my bots predict the outcomes of games and see how well it would do. Because let's face it, it'll prob do better than most of us here :D

So far it's gotten 4 out of 6 correct with a 67% win rate. No correct scores, just WIN/LOSS/DRAW. Biggest surprise was the game predicting Ecuador winning against Germany :o

It's been a pretty fun experiment so far, I'll keep making predictions and see how well the game can do from now until the end of the cup.

Character Selection Screen Before and After

https://reddit.com/link/1ucgc2g/video/ofr2i9c94t8h1/player

I remember a good while back, I made the first major pivot in the game's core design.

Instead every player having the same character type (Like in Rocket League or Rematch), I have created 3 unique characters all with their own special abilities.

  1. AstroMid - FreezeGun

  2. Block-E - WallBlast

  3. TetraDash - Magnet

You can now also upgrade player's abilities, speed, stamina and kicking strength by unlocking ability points.

I think this really made me separate the game from others in this genre.

Making UI work for all screen sizes is probably the most tedious task in webdev...

Landscape Mode Game Mode Selection Screen

Landscape Mode Character Selection Screen

Mobile Portrait Character Selection Screen

I'm updating/fixing to the Mobile UI for my browser based 3D game. Making things work on PC, mobile landscape and portrait mode is tedious and probably the thing I find one of the most time consuming things in web dev...

There is a long way to go, but it's much better :)

I'm using vanilla HTML & CSS for the UI, and Babylon js for 3D rendering (if you haven't heard of Babylon, check it out it's absolutely amazing!)

What are the best tips you learned for UI design especially when considering different screen sizes and devices?

[RevShare] Looking for helping with Marketing

I have been working on CosmoKick.io for the best part of 3 years now.

I've spent a lot of time on optimization and performance so that game runs even on low-end devices. No download, no sign-up required, just go to the link and play.

As it is a 3D football game, I'd like to start a marketing campaign (Social Media, Streaming etc.) and need help with someone to create Shorts and post on platforms.

Since I've been working as a volunteer in the last 2 years, I'm broke and hoping to start generating Revenue with the game in the next month through:

  1. In-game Cosmetic shop
  2. Sponsors

If you like Rocket League/Rematch/FIFA and like creating content and interacting with gamers on different platforms like Discord, hit me up!

Just updated my UI - Does the new layout and button size work for a fast paced football game?

I've been solo developing this free to play, 3D multiplayer football game for about 3 years now.

I finally got around to improving the mobile UI.

What do you think? Does the layout make sense? Are the elements too big/too small?

MOASS IS STILL ON!

MOASS needed a catalyst.

Retail shareholders buying and hodling hasn't done it. GameStop growing their balance sheet and becoming profitable hasn't done it.

We have been waiting for something "transformational"...

GME buying eBay is it.

We are buying one of the top 500 largest companies in the world. A dying brick and mortar retailer, is buying a legacy e commerce giant.

Once this M&A is complete, GameStop has been transformed. And the Berkshire model can begin, with newer and newer acquisitions. Growing GME's to a market cap of "F*ck you, pay me".

This is what kills the short thesis and drives price upwards. This is how the naked short positions are exposed.

The new shares issued cannot provide enough liquidity for shorts to close their positions.

The upwards price pressure will outweigh the downwards pressure in case of GME selling shares during an uptick, to raise cash for eBay and future acquisitions.

We should be f*cking hyped! The end is near.
