Sent back my other Pixel 10 Pro XL since I upgraded to the 512GB version. Now my question arises: how do I remove the other Pixel (which I factory reset) from my Google account? Line from Find My Device, Play Store recommendations, etc.?

I honestly don't know what to think about this anymore.

Lymow support confirmed that my mower has multiple issues (abnormal motor noise, Bluetooth disconnects, charging problems) and offered a replacement.

Their options are:

• Replace it with another original Lymow One
• Or pay an additional 600€ (500€ after a 100€ discount) to upgrade to the One Plus

After that I told them that I’m not willing to pay 600€ / 500€ for an upgrade and that I would like a straight replacement with the Lymow One.

Their reply:

What really surprised me is the way they frame it. They explicitly state that the One Plus has significantly improved Bluetooth stability and overall reliability and recommend it for a better long-term experience, so these issues i experience are fixed with the Plus model.

So from a customer perspective, it essentially comes down to:
“Yes, we know the newer model fixes known issues… but you’ll have to pay 600€ (500€) if you want it.”

It honestly feels like a warranty replacement is being turned into an upselling opportunity. Instead of offering the improved model as a goodwill solution after confirming multiple defects, I’m being asked to pay extra to avoid potentially running into the same issues again, while also being reminded that the newer version is improved even after I explicitly stated that I would take the Lymow One as a replacement.

Am I overreacting, or does this seem unreasonable to anyone else?

ich habe folgendes "Problem" mit meiner PortaSplit:

Im niedrigen Lastbereich (ca. 160–220 Watt Leistungsaufnahme während die PortaSplit im Outdoor-Silence-Modus läuft) produziert meine PortaSplit ein deutliches wummerndes Geräusch, wie im Video zu hören.

Dass der Kompressor Geräusche macht, ist mir klar und auch völlig verständlich. Im höheren Lastbereich sowie auch bei noch geringerer Last stört mich das überhaupt nicht, da der Kompressor eher tief brummt, anstatt so hoch zu wummern. Mich würde jedoch interessieren, ob andere PortaSplit-Besitzer dieses Wummern im Niedriglastbereich ebenfalls haben, da es relativ hochtönig ist und auf Dauer ziemlich unangenehm in den Ohren liegt.

Meine PortaSplit läuft eigentlich durchgehend im Outdoor-Silence-Modus, da mein Raum nach Norden ausgerichtet ist und nur knapp 20 m² groß ist. Alles darüber wäre für mich zu stark und würde den Raum zu sehr herunterkühlen.

Abends, wenn die Außentemperatur sinkt, verschwindet das Wummern wieder, da der Kompressor auf unter 140 Watt Leistungsaufnahme herunterregelt. Tagsüber läuft er meist im Bereich von 160–220 Watt (Soll-Temperatur von 22 bis 24 Grad, je nachdem), und genau dann tritt dieses für mich etwas störende Wummern auf.

Den OutDoor-Silence-Modus auszuschalten hat nichts gebracht, wenn deaktiviert fährt nur der Lüfter hoch während der Kompressor weiter wummert.

With EP9 now out, it's becoming increasingly plausible that abstraction can be reversed, at least for characters who have only recently abstracted.

Please let me explain.

Why not? Caine managed to make these brain-scan files function in the first place, something Kinger and Scratch were unable to do. If he was capable of creating and maintaining them, it doesn't seem unreasonable that he could eventually learn how to repair them as well. The real question isn't whether it's possible, but whether Caine already knows how to do it or still has to figure it out.

And unlike before, Caine has become noticeably more mature. Through his interactions with the circus cast, especially in EP9. He has started to understand human emotions and behavior far better than he did at the beginning of the series. That development could be important if abstraction is ultimately tied to the minds of the scanned individuals.

We also know, and have suspected for quite some time, that abstracted characters are still in there. They are still capable of thinking and feeling emotions. Kinger and Queenie are good examples of this.

Now, with Pomni and Jax, we've seen even more evidence. Jax was still there: thinking, talking, feeling emotions, and remaining aware of what was happening around him.

There's also the fact that Pomni appeared to glitch out less after Jax's abstraction than Ragatha did in EP1 when coming in contact with abstracted Kaufmo. To me, that suggests Jax wasn't actively trying to harm her while abstracted.

Personally, I don't view abstraction as suicide or death. It's more comparable to a severe mental breakdown or a state of extreme insanity that the brain-scan file, or the program running it, can no longer properly process or understand.

The fact that Pomni was able to reach Jax and communicate with him, and that Jax remained relatively calm while Zooble guided him into the tent, suggests that he still understood they weren't trying to harm him. Even though it wasn't completely dark on the way there, he didn't react aggressively, irrationally, or appear to glitch out the way he did earlier in EP9 when Pomni, Ragatha, and Zooble observed him running around below. To me, that implies he still recognized what was happening, understood that they were trying to help him, and knew that they still cared about him. The personalized tent and cushions, designed around Jax's colors and theme, may have helped reinforce that feeling as well.

As for Gooseworx's statement that abstraction can't be reversed, I'm not fully convinced that's definitive evidence. Goose has said several things in the past that later turned out to be jokes, intentionally misleading, or simply not entirely accurate.

For me, three things stand out:

1. Caine was able to make the brain-scan data function in the first place despite being "just" a creative AI -something Kinger and Scratch couldn't accomplish.
2. Abstracted characters can still think, feel emotions, and even communicate when properly connected to another person. Whether that connection is physical, emotional, or something else entirely remains unclear.
3. Caine is gradually learning to understand human emotions and the minds of the people whose brain-scan data he is managing and brought to life in the first place.

Taken together, all of this makes me believe that abstraction can be reversed - and that, eventually, it will be.

ich spiele mit dem Gedanken, für meine MSP einen Aufsatz zu drucken, der die Luft im Raum gleichmäßiger verteilen soll.

Die Idee ist, einen länglichen Kasten zu drucken, der auf den Lüftungsausgang gesetzt wird. Dieser Kasten besitzt mehrere Luftauslässe (vorne, hinten, links, rechts, oben), die im 45°- bzw. 90° Winkel nach oben zeigen und die Luft in verschiedene Richtungen verteilen.

Damit möchte ich dem starken Luftzug entgegenwirken und die Luft gleichmäßiger im Raum verteilen.

Was sollte man dabei beachten?

Bisher ist mir nur eingefallen, dass die Summe der Flächen aller Luftauslässe mindestens so groß sein sollte wie die Fläche des ursprünglichen Lüftungsausgangs der MSP. Andernfalls könnte ein zu hoher Gegendruck entstehen, der das Gebläse belastet oder beschädigt.

Wie seht ihr das? Habt ihr Tipps oder Erfahrungen damit? Wissenswertes nehme ich gerne mit.

Kann die PortaSplit Cool eine geringere Leistungsaufnahme erreichen als die normale PortaSplit und somit leiser arbeiten?

Jemand eine Ahnung, wann das Model 3 den schwarzen Dachhimmel (in Kombination mit den weißen Sitzen sieht das richtig gut aus) und den 16”-Bildschirm bekommt?

Ich bin sehr interessiert daran, die 0%-Finanzierung mitzunehmen. Die Auslieferung wird bei mir aktuell mit August / September 2026 angegeben. Eventuell hat man ja die Chance, jetzt zu bestellen und das Modell-Update mitzunehmen, falls es bis dahin erscheint?

I'm a bit irritated by the behaviour of the G9 I've been driving over the weekend. The motor control seems a bit jerky and unpolished.

For example:
I let the G9 park itself, and while maneuvering at low speeds and automatically accelerating and decelerating, everyone in the car could feel vibrations or a rattling sensation from both the front and rear. Also, when driving at low speeds and transitioning from coasting to accelerating, there is a noticeable jerk or rattle, similar to a clutch engaging or disengaging.
It sometimes feels like a new driver stalling a manual car, lol.

The test car has only 7,000 kilometers on it, so I wouldn't expect that much wear on the drive shafts already.
