Is this enough media for 10 days?
I bought these for my pet insects, but I am going on a trip for 10 days tomorrow, and am worried there is not enough media to last for that long.

They keep jumping out of this deli cup.
I did not expect them to reproduce so soon, as I thought they weren’t fully grown, but I guess they are just small. Not sure the species, but I think it’s A. nasatum.
I know a method from formiculture, but it has to be replaced every week. Are there any methods that don’t need as much upkeep? Also some sources say wait a while so the flies can lay eggs, but my queen should get her first workers in the next couple of days. Is that necessary?
I want some advice, as I am not sure what they will appreciate the most. Under $50 at most, but hopefully under $20.
Is the trans Ralsei theory that Ralsei was originally a girl but now a boy, or is it that he will identify as a girl later?
So I have a neutral stance on the topic, as I think it would be cool either way. But I do want to know how much of a spectrum of opinions there are on this topic!
I’m not sure as it’s just slightly bigger than a test tube, and I know it’s for a founding queen or a really small colony, but it just seems like a worse test tube. You have to manually regulate the water and humidity, unlike a test tube where you dont have to change it. I am also not sure how the queens can drink. Are there any upsides?
Their shop just looks average, why are they a lot of people’s favorite?
First is Tetramorium immigrans, second is Pheidole bicarinata. I can barely tell them apart (outside of the majors)
I just got an outworld from Ants Dakota (shout out to him) but I want to put a plastic plant in it. Is there any ant-safe glues or something out there?

Did it work?
When I wrote a list in the comments of a post, it went weird. I wrote it like this:
It came out something like this:
Blah blah
Blah blah blah blah
Blah blah blah
Blah blah.
Why is this?
What type of Torbico is she?
My Tetramorium queen huddled up close to the cotton when I put the cable at its recommended spot, so I moved it closer. Is this safe? Btw the recommended spot is the bottom tube thingy
Specifically for Tetramorium.
Hello I have a lot of stupid and simple questions that I want to answer. For background info I live in the US and am a complete newbie with a T. immigrans queen.
What is the maximum frequency I can check on my queen? I currently have a schedule of 3 days and then 5. My queen has pupae (or at least I think so, they are so small) she was fine with this before but I think she is getting a bit agitated.
I made the mistake of buying an AC test tube rack, which is not that good but I use it because it has a designated heating cable place. I recently noticed how my queen stays at the front of the test tube, so I want to move the cable closer. How close should I move it?
What’s the difference between PVA sponges and cotton?
What are the problems with plastic nest like the AC ones?
Extra stupid question but what is the best vinyl tubing size? I currently have 3/8.
Where to buy cheap outworlds in the US?
What are gypsum and bamboo test tubes?
When can I feed my queen after the first workers?
What are the problems with acrylic nests?
Are red see through test tube holders worth it?
Lastly, why do some people put so little water in their test tubes? Do they want to dry their ants out?
Answer any one you want!
