S25 Ultra vs S26 Ultra – Is the extra money worth it? Mainly for camera & software

Planning to buy a Samsung Ultra for my wife. Main priorities are camera and software experience.

S25 Ultra is available at a good discount, while S26 Ultra costs more.

For those who have used both:

  • Is the S26 Ultra camera improvement significant?
  • Is it worth paying extra for the S26 Ultra?
  • What’s the best way to get the best deal in India?

Would appreciate honest opinions, especially from S25/S26 Ultra owners.

[Need Advice\] PF Transfer Pending for 1.5 Years – Stuck in Jurisdictional Loop between EPFO Offices & "Disposed" Grievance

Hey everyone, seeking advice on how to escalate an EPFO transfer issue that's been dragging on for 1.5 years. Need guidance on what steps I can actually take to force a resolution.

The Situation:
I initiated a PF transfer from my old account ([REDACTED_ACCOUNT_1]) to my new one ([REDACTED_ACCOUNT_2]) back in February 2025. It is now August 2026, and the transfer is still not complete.

The Problem:
The process is stuck in a loop of jurisdictional finger-pointing. I have been communicating back and forth between:

For the past 18 months, I have been stuck in a circular loop of jurisdictional finger-pointing between three offices

  • RO Coimbatore
  • RO KR Puram
  • RO Bellandur

The transfer was initially rejected, and I was asked to provide a "transfer-in rejection confirmation." I have submitted this document multiple times to all relevant offices, yet the issue remains unresolved. The latest update I received is that the establishment falls under the jurisdiction of RO Bellandur, but despite my constant email follow-ups, nothing is moving.

What I’ve Tried:

  • Constant email follow-ups with all regional offices involved (Coimbatore, KR Puram, Bellandur, and CSD).
  • Providing all requested documentation multiple times.
  • Pleading for prioritization due to the 1.5-year delay.

The "Disposed" Grievance:
I have raised multiple grievances on the PGPortal to try and resolve this. In my latest grievance (Ref: ROCOI/E/2026/03265), the case was marked as "DISPOSED OF" with this response:> *"It is informed that as per the office data, the rejected transfer amount has already been credited to your Member ID- **\[REDACTED\_MEMBER\_ID\]**. The credit entry will be visible in your passbook through the member portal once the annual accounts are updated for 2025-2026."*

My Dilemma:
I have no way to verify if this is actually true. This "disposed of" status effectively closes my ticket without me seeing the actual funds in my account. I have sent multiple follow-up emails (on June 26, July 2, July 7, and July 10, 2026) to the various Regional Offices involved, but the bureaucratic deadlock persists.

My Request:
Has anyone else dealt with this specific type of bureaucratic deadlock? What is the most effective way to force a resolution?

  • Should I file a specific grievance on PGPortal? (I have already been using reference ROCOI/E/2026/03265).
  • Are there specific X (Twitter) handles or higher-up officials I should tag/contact to get eyes on this?
  • Is there any other legal or official channel to push this through before I completely lose my mind?

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Amazon delivered the wrong ₹20.7k mattress during Prime Day and is refusing replacement. Should I file a consumer case?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some advice on whether I should proceed with a consumer court case against Amazon India.

Here's what happened:

  • During the Amazon Prime Day sale, I ordered a SleepyCat Ultima 100% Natural Latex Mattress (78×72×8).
  • The listed sale price was ₹26,599, and after applying the offer processing fee and SBI Credit Card discount of ₹6,050, the final amount I paid was ₹20,748.
  • Instead, Amazon delivered a completely different product—a SleepyCat tri-fold mattress worth around ₹5,600.
  • I registered a complaint on the same day as the delivery.
  • Amazon asked me to wait 5 days for an internal investigation.
  • After following up multiple times, they finally approved only a refund and refused to provide a replacement.
  • The Prime Day offer is now over, so if I accept the refund, I can't buy the same mattress at the price I originally paid.
  • I've spent considerable time following up with customer support, and the entire experience has caused unnecessary stress and frustration.

I don't think a refund alone is a fair resolution because the mistake was entirely on Amazon's side. My preference is to receive the correct mattress at the original Prime Day purchase price.

Has anyone faced a similar issue?

  • Did you file a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline or e-Daakhil?
  • Were you able to get a replacement or compensation instead of just a refund?
  • Is it worth sending a legal notice before filing a consumer case?
  • Any tips or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I have photos of the delivered product, the packaging, the invoice, screenshots of the original listing, and records of all my conversations with Amazon support.

Thanks in advance for your help!

My 2026 Financial Restructure:Help me declutter my finances

I finally cleaned up my financial clutter in 2026. Went from 12+ credit cards to a "Core + Sale Day" strategy. What am I missing?

After spending the first half of 2026 optimizing my finances, I realized I had become a collector of bank accounts and credit cards rather than someone using them efficiently.

Like many of us, I kept applying for LTF cards, bank offers, and welcome bonuses. At one point I had 12+ credit cards and multiple savings accounts. Managing statement dates, tracking spends, and remembering which card to use where became exhausting.

So I decided to simplify everything.

Banking

ICICI – Primary Hub

  • Salary account
  • Primary UPI account
  • Everyday banking

HDFC

  • Secondary banking
  • Investments
  • HDFC relationship

SBI

  • Primary debit card
  • Main account used for paying all my credit card bills

Slice

  • Parking surplus cash since the savings return is linked to the RBI repo rate.

Closed: IDFC FIRST (old salary account), Union Bank, RBL Bank credit cards, and YES Bank credit cards.

Credit Card Strategy

Instead of trying to maximize every card, I now have two categories.

Core Cards (90% of spending)

  • SBI Cashback – General online shopping
  • HDFC Millennia – Swiggy, Zomato, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
  • Amazon Pay ICICI (LTF) – Amazon purchases
  • OneCard(FD based CC)- with 6.5k Limit

Sale Day Cards (LTF)

These stay in the drawer almost the entire year and only come out for bank-specific instant discount offers.

  • ICICI Platinum
  • ICICI Coral RuPay
  • Axis Ace
  • Axis Rewards

UPI

Currently using HDFC Tata Neu Plus RuPay for UPI on supported merchants.

I have already closed both YES Bank credit cards. My plan is to wait 6–8 months before applying for the Kiwi Card to avoid making multiple credit applications within a short period.

Why I Changed

Earlier, my spending was spread across too many cards.

Now, almost all online spending goes through SBI Cashback and HDFC Millennia, while Amazon Pay ICICI is reserved for Amazon purchases. My LTF ICICI and Axis cards are kept only for sale-day discounts, giving me the best of both worlds—higher cashback throughout the year and access to instant bank offers when they matter.

Questions

  1. Do you see any flaws or blind spots in this setup?
  2. Is keeping LTF cards purely for sale-day discounts worth it?
  3. Have you experienced dormant LTF cards getting lower credit limits or any other unexpected changes?
  4. Is the Kiwi Card still one of the best UPI credit cards, or would you recommend a better alternative?
  5. If this were your portfolio, what would you change?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and learning from the community.
