Picked up an unfired, 1976, pinned & recessed Model 49 plus the original box. Shes a beauty.
Caught my eye at the LGS today, shes mine now. First year issue for the Sporting Carbine. Great bore (photos are pre-cleaning). Waffle top on the receiver, no drilling or tapping, this is all original, chambered in 32 Special.
Manufactured 1982, chambered in 257 Roberts with Leupold Vari-X III 1.75x6 scope. I cant wait to get her out to the range, a real beauty with a great bore.
Traded a 1983 Model 439 for a Model 39, no dash from the mid 1960s. I have a Smith & Wesson smile on my face today.
All original 1942 manufacture Winchester 1894 in 30-30.
7 Colts, 2 Dan Wessons and a Springfield Armory
Back from the Gunsmith after a tune up. The LGS covered the bill. Issue with hammer follow fixed. She'll get to goo to the next range trip. What a beauty.
Picked this beauty up earlier this week. Looks unfired, the case coloring is strong and the barrels clean
This K31 was given as a Canton shooting competition award in 1964. Shes a beaut, and the bore is amazing.
Took the Old Gal out to the range for the first time today. She underwent an overhaul earlier in the year by a Master Gunsmith.. .
I fired 2 strings of new manufacture 44 Smith & Wesson American black powder rounds, man was that fun.
My dominant eye has a cataract, surgery soon, makes it really tough to focus on iron sites...but I did keep all the rounds on the paper. The 146 year Old Gal held up her end of the bargain, getting the gun brought back to shooting condition was worth the time and expense.
My military rifle collection is complete. Got a great deal, Im definitely a happy camper tonight.
Winchester M1, May 1945 WIN-13 reviever with original barrel (Feb 45). Underwent an armory refresh in 1966, the bore on the 1945 barrel is amazing.
Was doing some wheeling-dealing at the LGS, this came into the mix, and unfired 1977 Model 15-3. This will be a safe queen, I have plenty other .38 Specials to take to the range.
Colt Custom Government Model 1911 with that beautiful Colt Royal Blue. I couldn't pass it by.
Just finished cleaning this up, came out damned nice. Original barrel has light frosting, sharp lands and groves. Stock has some very interesting unit marks. Im going to start more detailed research on this weapon.
Did some trading and wheeling-dealing with the owner at my LGS and came home with this beauty, chambered in 32 HPS (The equivalent of Winchesters 32 Special). The case coloring on the receiver is pretty amazing. This is before cleaning and a Ren Wax treatment.
Added the Dan Wesson to my other 1911s
Picked up this Dan Wesson Heirloom today, what a beaut.
