Kızlar kısa erkekleri neden sevmiyor?

Ben 16 yaşında judo yapan kaslı, sportif güçlü dövüşmeyi bilen bir erkeğim. Boyum 164.

Traditional Karate at Home vs. Kyokushin: Looking for Budo Roots

Hello everyone,

I am currently a 10th-grade high school student. I first started doing Shotokan karate back in the 5th grade. However, at the club I attended back then, I could never really find that deep-rooted, traditional spirit I was looking for. The training revolved entirely around WKF (World Karate Federation) sport karate and point-based tournament systems. There was hardly anything related to Bunkai (kata analysis and applications) or deep Budo philosophy. Because the dojo experience left me unsatisfied, I unfortunately had to quit. And i started judo now.

Despite the time that has passed, my curiosity and passion for karate have never faded. Right now, I am practicing judo, and while I really love the grappling dynamics of judo, my mind still drifts back to karate—specifically its traditional roots. I have a few key questions for the experienced practitioners and martial artists here:

Is Learning at Home Realistic?: Without a physical dojo environment, is it a realistic goal to learn traditional Budo karate (basic techniques, kata details, and Bunkai logic) to a certain degree through solo practice at home? Or is this path a dead end without an instructor's guidance to correct fundamental mistakes?

The Kyokushin Alternative: Since I grew tired of the WKF system and am looking for a full-contact, rigorous, and realistic school, people around me frequently point toward Kyokushin. As I try to escape the sporting nature of WKF, is Kyokushin karate my last resort and most logical path forward, or should I keep searching until I can find a traditional dojo that stays true to the roots of Shotokan?

I would love to hear your thoughts, especially the advice and guidance of anyone who has gone through a similar journey. Thank you in advance!

Is judo difficult?

Hello guys I have 161 CMs height and I'm underweight 15yo male, since my environment and internet says Judo is better for short people, i started to judo. But it's been like 1 months. And sometimes i still can't do some koshi-wazas. I only know how to do ouchi gari, koshi guruma, ogoshi, seoi nage variations. As i said i still can't do some moves properly. IDK why but i'm really good at o uchi gari. I have two partners one has same weight and height w me and the other one has same height but not the same weight(12 KG more than me). I think something is wrong with my tai-sabaki and hip hit(Idk how to say tho)

Questions for scholarships

How can I get a scholarship?

My family's monthly income is approximately 100,000 TL (approx. $2,950). My older brother previously participated in the AFS one-year exchange program in Germany, and I am highly motivated to pursue a similar opportunity in Japan. We currently pay 22,000 TL ($650) monthly for my brother's education expenses in addition to our monthly rent. Considering these financial commitments, is there any possibility for me to receive a scholarship

Looking for exchange program

I have a dream of becoming an exchange student in Japan. I want to spend one full academic year there. My brother went to Germany through AFS, so I am currently considering AFS as well. I heard from a girl who went to Japan through AFS that the program costs between 12,000 and 18,000 dollars. Could you tell me if this is accurate, and does the cost vary depending on where you are from? Also, since I live in Turkey, which program would you recommend overall, and are there any more budget-friendly options you could suggest?"
