Bonjour. I am visiting provence for the first time. Most of the guides suggest Marseille purely for logistics but mention it is not as unique as compared to aix and such. We have quite a few days and was wondering given Marseilles interesting multi cultural influence if it would be worth spending a day or two there.

Had a lot of chucks but left due to quality and refusing fast fashion. Saw a pair of MIJ chucks. Never knew anything about the brand. The suede feels good and the color is intense. Is MIJ worth the premium? It's not cheap for converse but maybe need to think about the japan converse brand differently

I am new. Just got my rapid brewer yesterday. Not sure if I’m using it correctly, but the water from the upper chamber keeps dripping through. there does not seem to be any vacuum or any type of pressure to keep the water from dripping through.
I assume my grind size is too coarse but it doesn't seem like an issue for the videos I've watched. I also don't have any filters yet. It's a brand new machine and I'm concerned if there's any pressure defect lol. Thanks

I found a cheap vintage beaufort. Maybe 90s or 00s. Unfortunately the condition was quite dirty. Not necessarily filthy but heavily used. With detergent: a few cold and hot soaks and gentle hand washing. Then a run on delicate cycle. Then I dried for 48 hours.
Unfortunately it was not wearable without washing first. So now here we are. I will try to rewax although I would assume that all of the embedded wax threads are gone and that the wax might seep straight through. How to deal with the tiny holes and what not. And there's this large brown stain on the sleeve that didn't wash away.
I don't expect this to be a daily beater. I just want to wax it and give it some more life. I might do something about the collar as I prefer the vibrant navy that current collars are using.
