New internet with undisclosed deposit at checkout.
Signed up for new Xfinity internet today and went through the checkout process that showed my monthly amount and that nothing was due today. I got my order confirmation about two hours later and at the very bottom under “one time charges” it said paid today $125 deposit. This is concerning because there was no mention of a deposit due when I checked out and finalized my order. Anyone experience this. So far I see nothing on my bank account. I called Xfinity and they had no answers.

Oil Shortages
Anyone received any guidance from VW on the probability of oil shortages specifically 0w-20 ? Just grabbed 3 5qt bottles of Mobil 1 ESP off the shelf at my local Walmart they were the last 3 in stock.

Lp(a) went down 63 pts.
My Lp(a) went down 63pts in 2 months, 303nmol/L to 240nmol/L, the only thing I have changed is my diet my LDL-C also went from 122 to 90, my triglycerides went from 116 to 61. The only thing I’ve done is lost weight and been eating low carb diet and time restricted feeding. They say Lp(a) doesn’t change and 240 is still high. Overall seems like my numbers are getting better.

So the dealership sent me on my way with my new Jetta and the screws they put in the rear bracket are way too long and went right through and chipped the paint, I can’t for the life of me find the OEM screws for the rear plates. Any help would be appreciated.

My Car-Net app shows my 2025 Jetta off the coast of Africa. It sometimes shows my location but then goes right back to the wrong location. Anyone experience this? I called VW and they have no explanation.

Just got my new Jetta a few weeks ago and noticed some windshield distortion that I didn’t notice on the test drive due to it being dark out, some of it is in the driver line of sight. It’s like a funhouse effect a bit distracting while driving. Is this something others have noticed? Is it worth scheduling service for it. There’s no damage to the windshield it looks like a factory defect.
EDIT: The vehicle is still under the manufacturer warranty.
