Every single one of these albums are great. 2026 has brought us some decent releases but nothing that really stays in rotation.

Came across this Waylon Jennings record a few days ago at a local record store. Been playing it a ton. I love Waylon’s 60’s country crooner era so much.
Look, nobody is expecting the Weston Wilson’s and Buddy Kennedy’s of the world to kick ass but when you add up all the plate appearances from these guys, and include the guys you are counting on but are also struggling, it paints a pretty abysmal picture.
Getting to hear Dolly’s banter and laughter with Chet throughout the track is so adorable.
Mine has to be The Crowd. The slow build up to him letting it absolutely rip vocally is so fun to listen to.
I made one of these tier lists a year ago and it has changed quite a bit since then. But I still haven’t really come around to TooM yet.
We bought this house last summer, and I noticed that only half of the hydrangea had actually bloomed flowers. So over the winter I pruned it back a lot and cleared out a bunch of old branches. That seems to have done the trick! It’s bigger and prettier than ever.

Just beat Remake for the first time. I’ve seen so many posts on here about how hard of a fight he can be. But I had been grinding exp and leveling Materia a ton throughout the game, so when I went to go fight him I was level 50 already. Honestly some of the bosses on chapter 17 gave me more trouble. Just posting this as a PSA to anyone wanting to play this game. If you want the final boss fight to be more of a challenge, don’t grind so hard!

I’ve been in love with Modern Times lately. Threw in some classic Lauryn Hill projects for good measure.
Even though this thing creates a ton of mess in my yard every fall, I still love that I get to see it every day. Look at the size of that trunk! The last two photos are from the fall when they had a handful of limbs taken down. I think it really helped balance out the canopy, but what do you all think of the work they did?
Been a blast replaying this game. The final grind to synthesize all the best gear has been so time consuming though. Should I try to make four more crystal crowns for Goofy?
Anyway I still need to beat the ice titan, Sephiroth, Kurt Zisa, and the Phantom before I head to the final rest.
Neighborhood walks yield good results sometimes! Found two awesome trees with so many perfect cherries on them. (Neighbor said we could have as many we wanted)
Nothing super interesting or important, just feeling nostalgic and having a blast reliving childhood memories. Almost done with KH1, then on to 2!
I’ve tried so many times to fall in love with Time Out of Mind and Love and Theft to no avail. They’re perfectly fine albums but neither really grab me. Decided to give Modern Times a full spin today and it has been a joy.
