What are the steps to adding gravel/crusher run to expand driveway

I’m assuming the steps are:
- use tractor to take off grass
- Do I need to put down fabric barrier or is it unnecessary?
- where my shadow is, it’s about 12” lower than the driveway. Can I just add that much crusher run?
- add crusher run
- spread with bucket and back blade (I don’t have a box blade)
- use plate compactor once spread

Anything else?

Will 1/4” pieces of wood stick with just glue?

I want to make a free floating wall shelf. I’m going to use 2x2s for the bones (in the picture, the dark pieces. Sorry for the bad pic), screw the the bones 2x2s into the studs, and then make a “shell” (in the picture the stained piece of wood). The shell will just fit over the bones.

Its kiln dried

My question is: Do I need to use nails or screws for attaching the shell to each other? (Horizontal top and bottom pieces and attaching them to the vertical sides) or can I just glue and clamp?

I’m either going to cut the shell pieces all at 45 to attach to either, or at 90. Open to recommendations on that one.

Best way to clean this

Right now I pull out the filter, wipe it off, and use a stick to get anything at the bottom, below the filter. Whats recommended to be more efficient and thorough?

How do you know when to replace chain?

I sharpened the chain - but it still cut dull. I don’t see any visible damage to the chain. Before I sharpened, I think I hit some dirt in the bark of a tree so maybe I just need to sharpen it more/longer?

Husqvarna 550xp - I use one of the sharpening tools as seen in the image

How do you know when the chain needs to be changed if there’s no visible damage? (Broken teeth, etc)

Best way to see djokovic play tennis at U.S. open

I’d really love to take my son to see djokovic play tennis at the U.S. open this fall. I’ve never been to a professional match.

What’s the likelihood that he plays at Arthur Ashe during the evening for early rounds (maybe 2nd round?)

I was thinking of getting grandstand option for during the the days and Arthur Ashe for evenings for two consecutive days. Does this seem like the best way to do it or is there another recommendation?

What do these sounds mean?

1st time cat owner. White is male. Black female. Neither spayed/neutered

Edit to add: these cats have been around each other for a few weeks and we find them often playing, sleeping beside each other. Since most of the comments say that they are about to fight, is there a reason they’d act that way all of the sudden? (They ended up just going there own way after a minute)

Try to install sump alarm. Is the only way to cut the sump cover out or the pipe?

It appears that the only ways to access are cutting the cover altogether or one of the pipes.

Was this installer correctly? Is there a better way?

Implement for gravel recovery? Or more gravel?

Index finder shows gravel still good. Middle finger is where it’s washed out. Whats the best way to maintain and recover this part by middle finger so it doesn’t just get more covered in mud?

4 years into 20 yr lane. 4.25%. Pay it off or keep making payments?

What my best option? I owe 247k left.

This month principal was $983 and interest was $874. Total monthly this month was $1857.

Paid off in 2041 - interest rate is 4.25%

Help me understand the math, is it better to just keep making payments or pay it off?

If the market is at 9% for example and my
Interest rate is 4.25%, isn’t it better to pay invest in the market?

I also don’t quite understand if the interest rate is 4.25, why is half my payment interest
