I already know I'll never let you go with Meagan Good

Nothing paranormal. Just regular thrillers with an obsessed stalker. I've seen plenty where the lead was white. I would like to see more with a black female lead. I know some of The Wrong series like the wrong valentine have a black female lead, but I'm not a fan of that series.

One movie that I know is I'll never let you go with Meagan Good.

Today was my first day for a job at Fed Ex. It was actually just orientation today. The Fed Ex makes everyone go through security when entering and leaving the building. After orientation was over for the day, I was going through security to leave. I was confused on which lane I was supposed to go through. The guy then yelled at me to follow the green arrow when I didn't notice it at first. He kept yelling until I noticed it. As I walked passed him he loudly said people really don't understand English. Everytime I have to go through security, I'm always getting yelled at by one of the security which really spikes up my anxiety and makes me wanna cry. The thought of having to go through this security guard everyday makes me not wanna go back to work because he really ruined my mood.

This is mainly for dark romance since that's my favorite kind. I guess this could fall under not like other girls trope. I'm personally don't find badass sassy heroines enjoyable. I get why people may like them but it's just not my cup of tea. The hero becoming obsessed with the heroine because of her looks and badass/defiant personality is very meh for me. I only read from black authors because I like the female lead to be black. I know not every single author does the defiant sassy heroine. I just want more where she is just normal or even a bit nerdy and shy and looks more plain. It would also be cool to see one where the hero is not physically attracted to the heroine but his attraction to her grows as they get to know eachother more. I have read a few where the heroine wasn't all badass and sassy, which I enjoyed a lot more.

A bit about me:

I enjoy hanging outside in the park especially when it's a warm sunny day. I would hang at the park all day and walk with music playing. While walking, I listen to all kinds of music such as jazz. I'm also a bit of a hopeless romantic. I would often read novels that have romance between the main characters. I read a lot of interracial romances. I enjoy dark, contemporary and some fantasy occasionally. One of my favorite sounds to hear is the mourning dove coo because I find it so relaxing and nostalgic. I dream about having a nice cozy house in an area surrounded by trees, mountains, and lakes. I would love to hear the sound of the morning dove cooing everyday when I walk outside because it helps lighten my mood. 

I would love to one day meet my best friend for life. I'm open to all genders as long as you're not that much older than me. I just relate to people closer to my age more. If you're into watching TV, then we could watch shows or movies together and chat while the movie or show is playing. I have done it before, and I find it really fun and it's an easy way to hangout with an online friend. I know some apps, so just ask me if you're interested. My favorite shows are probably Merlin, Prison Break, Once Upon A Time, Grey's Anatomy, Walking Dead, H2O, Vampire Diaries. I also enjoy watching stuff on YouTube. I mainly watch true crime, movie commentaries, and scary stories.

Books 1 and 2 are out. Book 3 should come out this summer. The algorithm is very low for this black author and not many people are seeing her content. I recommend signing up for an arc for book 3 if you want to have all 3 books earlier. I've been seeing this statement used a lot whenever someone asks for a rec with a non white female character especially if they want the female character to be black. I never seen this statement used when someone asks for the female character to not be a blonde, petite, blue eyed, etc. Yes, people have actually offered recs, but it's still super frustrating when someone says just imagine them however you want. I'm not someone who can imagine a character however I want. I rely more on written descriptions to form a picture. If imagining characters however you want works for you, that's great, but I don't think it's right to assume that works for everyone. I'm not asking for recs btw.
