Not sure i understand proper tongue posture

I have a higher, arched palate. I’ve read that the tongue should be resting just behind the teeth, but when I do that my tongue doesn’t touch my palate at all. Only when I put my tongue behind the ridge and force it up does it touch the roof of my mouth. What do I do here? Doing it the “correct” way doesn’t press on the palate at all.

Does anyone feel like years and years of this made their body scared to sleep?

I’m not sure how long I’ve had this exactly but I’m 22 and I believe I’ve had it since my teen years. I don’t know how to explain it and this isn’t scientific at all but I feel like night after night of fighting to breathe for year in year out has made my body afraid to rest. I know it sounds kinda stupid, but it’s like even after months of cpap my body still fears resting because it’s accustomed to stress and anxiety and stuff all night.

Does the skin actually tighten up once you’re done restoring?

I see a lot of restored guys photos and it looks super lose and stuff at the end, which I don’t particularly want. Is it possible that it will tighten up once I eventually complete restoration?

How do I know whether to put tape on the scar line or below it?

I think I may have been placing my tape too high, so I tried placing it lower down the shaft towards the base and it just felt much better, like it was pulling actual skin rather than pulling my penis. I’m worried that it will cause a bunch of hair to end up on my shaft though.

Do you need to drink more water than normal when taking creatine?

From what I understand it pulls water into the muscles from the body, meaning there’s less left over. How much more water do you need to compensate for it?

I don’t know what to do

I just scrolled the foreskin subreddit and I just started crying, I feel so angry and I can’t even properly articulate how enraged I am about being circumcised….i feel incredibly lost

What’s it like?

I’m aware grieving posts aren’t allowed here so for the sake of this not getting taken down, I won’t elaborate beyond I’m a 22yo circumcised guy in the US.

What’s the best part of being intact? Which parts are most sensitive?

Is this even worth it?

I’m 22, I started doing restoration about 2.5-3 years ago but stopped because I lost motivation. The whole process just feels demoralizing to me. Why do I have to use fucking tape and stretch my skin to get back what is essentially a bad copy of something that I was born with? It just feels like a waste of time knowing it’ll never be the same as the original. I feel like I don’t have a desire to do it anymore, but I also just wish I had a foreskin.

Could i be sensitive to light?

I keep waking up (unintentionally) around 6am or so for a while now, and I’m wondering if it’s because light comes in my room from under my door as well as going OVER my blackout curtains. Could such a small amount of light be waking me up earlier than intended?

If you had trillions of dollars to make any non-major us city into whatever you want, which one would you pick?

I saw a post from around a year ago asking something like this, and I wanted to ask it again because it looked fun.

Say you are given a few trillion dollars to turn any US city into your ideal city. (So excluding nyc, Chicago, Los Angeles, etc) Which city do you pick and what do you do?

The rules covered in the post that I saw were: are that all the money has to go to turning the city into whatever you envision (ie transit, housing, luring employers through specific industries , etc). You can’t just build a giant estate for yourself and pocket the rest.

I have a couple of cities in mind myself, mainly Anchorage, Baltimore, or Detroit

Why does magnesium glycinate have the opposite effect in some people?

It’s supposed to help with sleep and relaxation, but a lot of people report developing insomnia from it, specifically waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to fall back asleep.

I’ve been having that issue myself and am wondering if it’s the magnesium

Maybe a silly question, but can eating a food I’m allergic to regularly somehow cause insomnia?

I’ve had an egg allergy my whole life, but…. I eat them all the time and I love them. I don’t have any noticeable reaction to them, but the past 9 months or so I’ve been eating them way more, and I’ve somehow developed really bad insomnia. Is it possible they’re related?

Do you think there are notable cultural differences in cities in consistently warm/ Mediterranean style climates versus colder ones that get harsher winters?

(Sorry if this is the wrong sub for this sort of question.)

I guess I’m not even just thinking within my country (US) but globally. In my own perspective a lot of mild/warm climates seem to be much more “laid back” for lack of better word. I also feel like colder climates are much more direct and fast paced. Maybe I’m way off?

Is it possible to mew properly with a high arched palate?

The back of my tongue doesn’t reach my palate. Can I still do it or is it pointless if I can’t reach that part

Probably a stupid question, but could eating a food im allergic to regularly cause nasal passages and stuff to get inflamed?

I have had an egg allergy my whole life, however, I eat them literally all the time because I don’t have any noticeable reaction to them. I mean I nearly eat them every day now.

I assumed I had just developed a tolerance to it or something, but Is it possible that my nasal passages and stuff have been getting inflamed because of it?

Edit: sorry for spamming the sub, this is like my 4th post in the past 12 hours

For those who had success with treating allergies/enlarged turbinates or anything like that, how long did it take to feel a difference

For example, Flonase, or something. I think the top post in the sub mentioned they used Claritin as well? How long does it take to feel a difference.

What happened to entry level roles?

I feel like they literally don’t exist anymore. Is this a global issue? All the “junior” or “entry” level stuff I see asks for 3+ years of experience. Am I not understanding the definition of entry level? I can’t wrap my head around this.

What causes the upper jaw to become underdeveloped?

Sorry for the third post in a short time frame, I’ve just recently become aware of how fucked the anatomy of my face is and how it’s fucking up my breathing. I think the issues is manly my upper jaw. My tongue has never rested in the roof of my mouth, it always falls into my lower mouth, or is just straight up pushed against or through my front teeth (I am currently in Invisalign because I caused an open bite from tongue thrusting). It just never feels like there’s enough space for my tongue to go forward in my mouth. It realized that when I just fully relax my lower jaw juts forward a lot compared to the rest of my face, it’s like the upper part is too far back or something. I could go on and on but I feel stuck. What can I even do here? I feel like I’ve been in a perpetual slow decline my entire life because of how it’s affected my sleep.

Edit: I don’t even know what type of doctor to go see, I have an orthodontist but I don’t think he fully understands.
