Playing a bunch of Insect Glaive made me think of the pogo stick king. So I decided to try and make my character look like him!
So! I started the series with 4 Ultimate. Initially I wanted to start with World, but I thought to myself that if I played 4 Ultimate I’d have an easier time going backwards if I wanted to. Which is funny since I absolutely love 4 Ultimate WAAAAAY more than World. Rushed the end of 4U to get to World and when I finished World’s story I just went back to 4U. Anyway I was going to use IG but eventually decided on using Switch Axe for my playthrough of 4U. I loved it and fell in love with the series.
I got to World and I can’t really explain it very well but… Switch Axe didn’t feel right. It didn’t feel as chunky as it did in 4U. So I decided to use Gunlance for my playthrough. Did this for Rise as well. Just beat base game Rise and I’m waiting on Sunbreak to go on sale again.
In the meantime, I decided to try Generations Ultimate and… they completely butchered my beloved Gunlance. 😭 So I decided to actually try Insect Glaive. The reason I was deterred when I was going to use it was because of someone saying that it was complicated to use. And to that person I just want to say I hope your pillow is warm at night. Because oh my god I’ve fallen in love with the weapon. Going in the air and doing flips and shit, sending my lil insect dude out like a mini Heracross. When I get Sunbreak I might have to try it out since I haven’t tried this weapon yet with Rise’s movement and I can already tell it’ll be a treat.
Hi guys! So I’ve been making my way through the base game and absolutely loving it. I don’t have Sunbreak since I wanted to get the most out of base game before moving onto it. I’m curious; is there a place that lists the best armor and build for Gunlance in base game? All of the guides I’ve seen highlight Sunbreak which is understandable to be fair. Thank you!
Hi all! So following on from the title I jumped back into the game and… completely forgot everything haha. Thing is I don’t want to start a fresh save since I think that will just lead to burnout again. I’m tackling the 7 star hub quests at the minute.
Hi all! So my American account has been my main account for four years at this point but I’ve wanted to play with some of my EU friends so I’ve decided to make an EU account. Now what I thought would be fun is to restrict myself on only using characters that came out before Neuvillette, since that’s when balance sort’ve shifted. So I was wondering; how viable would this account be in the current meta? Some caveats:
- Most characters would be C0 except for four stars. Some exceptions to this are for example Hu Tao’s C1 which just makes things more comfy.
- Five star weapons will be prioritised after I get some teams together.
This is kind’ve difficult to explain but I’ve always felt that they’ve shied away from portraying his character in side projects like Dissidia and other spin-offs as his post-lifestream scene self. Is there a reason for this?
First off, enjoy me eating absolute shit in this clip.
So I’ve obviously heard about the series since I’m in other Capcom circles, but I’ve never actually given the games a try. So when DD2 got announced for Switch 2 I decided to finally check the series out, especially given the first game was only £4 on the eshop.
God, I’ve missed out on so much.
This is like if you put Monster Hunter, Shadow of the Colossus and DMC into a blender. I’m so angry at myself that I didn’t give this game a shot until now! I’m really, really loving it.
The music bangs. The world is really interesting so far too, I’ve only just got to the bit where you get the Portcrystal. Doing a bunch of side stuff and just exploring the world at the minute now.
I do have a few questions if they’re not too silly to ask:
So far I’ve just been messing about with vocations and getting a feel for them. I’ve heard that affects your stats, but is it to the point where you’ll cripple yourself if you switch around too much? Regardless, my favourites have been Fighter and Assassin so far. Might give Warrior a few hours of gameplay in a bit!
Do the job skills carry over? Like say I learn a skill as Fighter, can I then carry that over to my Warrior?
Lastly, this is more about the sequel. As I said before I’m in other Capcom circles and I heard about the second game being not well received by the fanbase. Is there a reason for this?
Thank you all in advance, and I’m very excited to continue playing!
Getting two of the red Teddy item helped but not as much as you’d think. You see the previous five runs I got to Mithrix and each time I died because his blue walls touched my Survivor’s toe. So when I got hit by it again and died I put my controller down, not remembering I had the item. Anyway, I get revived and I only notice when he slams his hammer at me again and I die again. So I only had one. Technically. Lmao. But god it feels so good!
Genuinely I love so much about the game and the costumes were something I was asking for with the Booster Course but man. It feels so slow compared to 8 Deluxe and this isn’t even a 200cc thing. Even 150cc in 8 Deluxe feels faster.
SO I completed KOTOR 1 and loved it except for one moment; that being the final boss fight. Because I was a light side user I focused on the buffs like Valor and Speed. I had no force powers whatsoever. So the fight with Malak consisted of me getting his health down then using speed to run away from him like a goofy goober and spamming med packs and saving in between each health refill.
A question I have is simple; is there anything like that for KOTOR 2’s final boss, whatever that may be? Since I’m doing a light side character again but if I can save myself the pain then I will gladly do so lmao.
Also; are there any characters that bail on you like in 1 with a certain character after the third planet is beaten? Thank you so much in advance! (I’m loving 2 by the way just finished up Dantooine. Bao and Visas are my favs so far!)
Really excited to delve into this world! My build is 8 for strength and 14 for everything else. Is this good for a dual-wielding lightsaber build for whenever I do get access to them?
