Alcohol aftertaste after cleaning vape

Hiya, so I cleaned my new XMax V3 PRO vaper pen for the first time yesterday. I used 96° alcohol drenched in cotton swabs. However, when I went to smoke it some hours later (dry herb), it had a horribly alcohol aftertaste. I cleaned it again with some water, but it still, some taste lingers.

Is there anything I could do to avoid this? Thank you so much.
