Isolamento sottotetto

A pavimento o nelle falde?

N.b. tenete a mente che farei io i lavori in economia (MOLTA economia). Mi serve giusto qualcosa per tamponare le perdite in inverno (qui fa parecchio freddo).

Cleaning recorded voices

Hi buddies, newbie here with Audacity 4.

I've got an audio file where two voices are recorded, but one of them is not really audible; plus I've got a lot of background noise.

Now, concerning the noise, I've already obtained quite satisfying results with the built-in tool, but the voices are another story.

In some points these voices are overlapping (one over the other I'd like to enhance).

What I'm asking you is if there a feature that helps me to split the two patterns so that I can increase the volume/amplitude of just one of them.

In case you know other (free) tools / softwares for Windows that would work, do not hesitate to write them down.

Thx in advance

P.S. I've read the sub rules, so I know I should write that post in the HelpDesk, but when I try I get a 404 error

Sheet metal WFH ?

I'm a Mec. Eng. with 10yoe in the design of metal carpentry; mainly sheet metal.

I was wondering if there are jobs in that field (e.g CAD, PE or something else) that could be carried entirely from home.

I'm quite sure the answer is "no", but I would appreciate your point of view / experience.

Thx

Qual è la verità?

Premessa:

Clutch pedal sometimes stuck

Citroën Xsara Picasso, 1.8 gasoline. Hydraulic clutch. Sometimes the pedal remains down, a few others it comes up but the clutch itself doesn't engage (I can be in 3rd and revving, but the car won't move).

The clutch is relatively new: 20k km

Wasps inside the house walls

Yep...I've got two 1inch holes on the outside of the wall of my house. Some (many) wasps decided to get comfy and settle there.

I made to spray inside of one of those holes and suddenly abt. 50 wasps rushed out literally trying to kill me.

I now have two options: to call an expert, which means money and time, or to wait for the sunset and close the holes with rapid concrete, which means I'll be stung (again) and possibly the wasps will find a way to move inside the wall.

Which are your suggestions?

For more context:

Location: Italy

Type of wall: concrete and hollow bricks

Type of wasps: German type, I guess
