I just used the move reminder to teach my Blaziken HJK, and every single time I've used it against the Escavelier guardian's Pokémon in >!the Garufa place under Sheridan Village!<, it just says "But it failed!"

It has done this three times now. Why is this happening?

More specifically, how did you react when >!you were told that she had died?!<

I personally didn't really believe that she did. Not only would it be kinda weird for such a major character to just >!up and die that early!<, but the only piece of "evidence" we had for >!Melia's death!< was her torn-up bag. But if>! she had truly been killed by the Galvantula chewing on her bag, then the bag would've probably been covered in blood.!<

It just didn't seem plausible to me, which is why I wasn't that shocked when >!Melia returned.!<In fact, I was kind of annoyed that I didn't have any agency to go "Hey, this doesn't really seem plausible" when it happened.

So I was wondering if this was something everyone else playing the game was thinking about, or if y'all just ran with it until >!she came back.!<
