Pakistani punjabi- north Indian ancestry

So I have seen some people saying that North West Indian or Indian Punjabis eople tend to have less AASI than Pakistanis? How come so? Shouldn't AASI be less moving towards WEST where invasions from Euro- Asian populations stopped?

Can anyone provide info on this?

Pakistani punjaban

Hy guys, I am a Pakistani Punjaban. I have never really thought about the other side of Punjab. But I recently watched Mein Vapis Aao GA, and it doesn't seem to leave me.

I have been remembering, now, the stories that my nana used to tell me when he was alive. His childhood friends were Sikhs. During partition, he hid them in his house. And they eventually made it to India. I never asked the names. I was too young to understand, and for me, it was just a story.

Anyways, what's your impression of Pakistani Punjabi girls? This question is directed to both males and females.

I love how well kept you guys are. Both guys and girls, and the way you speak punjabi is so elegant.

Coke Studio- Gul Panra

Hey guyysss! Do you remember Gul Panra? She was the national crush of Pakistan before Momina Mustehsan was even a thing. And she also did a song with Coke Studio that has 140 mln views, so quite listened. Do you guys have any idea where she is now? And why she disappeared?

I am Punjaban and I have recently discovered the beauty of Pashto language. I have been listening to some Pashto songs with translation in English, and they are pure poetry. And that's how I discovered Gul Panra and Atif Aslam's song " Man Aamadeh Am". I think she should make a come back, and I also think that we should promote more songs in regional languages. Punjabi songs are already famous. But we need more mainstream songs in Pashto, Balochi and Sindhi.

The only Balochi songs know are "Laila" and "Danah pa Danah", and the only Sindhi song I know is " ho jamalo". There is so much beauty in our regional languages, and they should be celebrated and protected. What do you think? Coke Studio did a wonderful job in the past, and I think they should bring back more regional songs, also with fusion with Urdu like "More Saiyan" did with Pashto and Urdu.

My take on what happened between Dananeer and Khushal

Okay, so my opinion is that both Dananeer and Khushal were in a relationship, which is pretty obvious. And I also think that Dananeer really fell in love with him. And that's also the phase in which sha started to be more outspoken about her Pathan culture. Because we know that Khushal is really proud about it (even if sometimes he crosses the line and sounds arrogant). So Khushal's influence was obvious.

The breaking point was, in my opinion, his family. He would have asked her to give up her career, similar to Ramsha basically. Dananeer has become a proud pathan, but she is not the typical oppressed Pathani from FATA. She was raised in ISB, and her parents are educated and modern. She knows how to balance tradition with her own independence, dignity and human rights.

But since she was in love with him, she is still heartbroken, which became obvious since she is spiraling.

Muntaha case- Sargodha

There are a lot of naive and funny people who have been rejoicing over the fact that Muntaha's "abuser" got killed. I saw the picture of that dead men and it made me shiver. The only thing I could think about was the fact that it was an extra judicial killing. They killed him. And a dead man can't defend himself anymore. Why was he the only one getting killed and not the other 5? Why not the OWNER of the shop? He did not get a burial. Imagine if he was innocent. Imagine the plight of his mother who didn't get to hug his son for the last time and that has to live with the thought that his young son didn't even get a janaza. My question remains the same. What if he was innocent. That IS WHY YOU HAVE TRIALS. That's why you have the PRESUMPTION OF INNOCENCE. There is an old saying "it's better to have 1000 criminals free than an innocent in jail". Here we aren't even speaking about jail. They killed him.

Btw, if you're taking this lightly, let me remind you that this is exactly what is happening in Balochistan. Extrajudicial killings. The next one could be you or your family member. You guys don't even realize what this cancer is. No one will stop them anymore.

Rule of law, procedural safeguards and appeal for the rich, extra judicial killings for the poor. Why wasn't Zahir Jaffer killed? Why aren't the sons of waderas or politicians killed? That's some food for thought.

Anyways, here is the statement of the mother of the guy they killed over Muntaha's abuse:

Why are people so pessimistic about Bangladesh being the next Pakistan?

There is no credible threat of war with our neighbors or serious territorial disputes, terrorism is rare occurrence unlike in Pakistan where it’s daily concern, there isn’t a culture of honor killings or tribal laws being violently enforced, our population growth is stable, there is a civil government that isn’t being undermined by the military, and the economy and political system is fairly stable. Bangladesh has its problems but to compare it to Pakistan would mean our situation is hopeless.

Balochistan- Greta Thunberg's take

I just saw the reel on Balochistan posted by Greta Thunberg. While I recognize legitimate Baloch grievances, I also recognize the role of India in creating and funding unrest in the area for the last 70 years: Kalbushan Yadav and the videos circulation online of Indian officers openly admitting this (ex Major Gaurav).

Coming back to Greta's reel. She said some things that made sense, but then she went on to call Balochistan an occupied territory, which doesn't sit right with me. She also tagged some activists sitting abroad. And she was clearly reading. This means that she is not educated enough and was reading the script provided by those activists. But how did those activists reach Greta Thunberg? How are they funded? India?

The Balochistan issue is getting out of control for Pakistan. And we know that social media and narratives play a great role. Pakistan needs to take action: providing rights and development to Balochistan. There is no way they can win this war.

Another consideration: Greta is from Norway. If I remember correctly, Norway's ambassador also went to assist Imaan Mazari' s trial, allegedly violating the Vienna Convention. When Mahrang was free, she also used to make visits to Norway?

Disclaimer: I am not an expert, I am just a chronically online person who is passionate about geopolitics and politics.

Edit: I got corrected in the comments. Greta is from Sweden and not Norway.

Cricketers

Does any one know about the tea going on with our major cricketers such as Naseem, Shaheen, Bobzy and Haris? They used to be good friends. But now I think they are sidelining Naseem. Babar and Shaheen have both unfollowed Naseem. Naseem still follows Babar but not Shaheen. I feel sad. Naseem doesn't deserve this. He is just a boy and a sweet heart.

Idk what's up with Babar but he does look depressed and always sad.

Education minister

I was going to sleep, but a random thought came to my mind. How many of you know who the minister of education is in Pakistan? I have never heard any discussions on education whatsoever. Even on this sub. Why isn't it a focus in Pakistani politics? How could it be? The discussion should start from the bottom, but it seems like people aren't interested enough. They only care about cricket/wars/geopolitics.

Like seriously. Which were reforms in education in recent years? I only remember IK's proposal to standardize education all across Pakistan, and that was it.

I have heard about some scholarship schemes/laptop schemes. But is that it? What is being done to promote research? To gather know-how? Or to create exchange programs with foreign universities?

Can we please start focusing on this?
