Reviewing all the safe and clean ingredient products i use.

These are all the products i am currently using on my body, some of them work, some don't.

By 'safe and clean ingredients', I mean no parabens, sulphates, phthalates, formaldehyde releasers, mineral oils, non soluble silicones, synthetic fragrances and a whole bunch of other ingredients that are banned in countries with better laws.

Hope you find it useful.

Chess.com removed Russia's and Belarus' flag

Disclaimer: I'm not sure if this is the right sub for this, but the rules did not mention anything against what I'm about to say, so I'm going ahead. Let me know if it breaks the rules. Wanted to post in r/chess.com but they don't encourage talking about this topic.

Today while playing against an opponent, I noticed their flag looked not-so-familiar so i obviously got curious and clicked on it to check what country they belong to. It led me to this article about Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the fact that chess.com has banned Russian and Belarusian users. The existing premium users are still there and they'll be banned after the premium membership is over. Now I don't have an issue with this stance but what I'm confused about is why is a similar strong stance not seen against Israel. I keep getting Israeli opponents to play against every now and then and there's a limit to how many games I can abort.

Is there a way to stop getting paired with members from a particular country without aborting the game?

Where can I get good jackfruit biryani in Chennai?

I love biryani and recently got to know that jackfruit biryani is a thing. Where can I get the best one? Preferably on the spicier side?

Setting boundaries the moment something goes wrong.

The screenshots are my chats with two different members of the family. It is interesting how two different members from the family handled being called out in such a different manner.

Anyway, point being, do not hesitate. It'll be a sour situation when you do set a boundary but it'll be okay in a matter of a couple of months. Always set healthy boundaries. It is for your own peace of mind.

Where do I find this?

Hello! I have been looking for a good quality basic fitted cotton white and black tee but all my efforts are wasted in this world full of polyester clothing. I would like the tee to be 100% cotton, not transparent and not cropped. Preferably sleeved but I'm willing to compromise on this if all other criteria are met.

If you have any recommendations of tees you have personally used yourself, drop them my way. Thank you!

Is there anyone going to Delhi from Chennai for 20th July?

Let me know if this doesn't fit the rules of the subreddit. I'm not trying to start a conversation about the event. I just want to know if there's anyone going to Delhi from Chennai and would like to tag along or discuss the logistics of travel/conveyance/stay etc. Thank you

No regrets whatsoever after setting boundaries and confrontations with in-laws.

Two different members of the family with completely different reactions to being confronted.

Went to Bhutan and might have found my favourite country.

My partner and I just got back from a week-long stay in Bhutan and here's our experience:

  1. The country is absolutely stunning no matter which village, road, city, town you are in. We did not find a single shady or unsafe lane and we are quite a bit of wanderers. Even if a street was not lit enough, somehow it felt very safe.

  2. The people are the warmest and kindest and reasonably so. It'll be difficult to be sad if you live in a country as beautiful and peaceful as bhutan. We got offered a late night ride to Punakha Dzong by a random restaurant owner who was so passionate about showing people around in the country. He also brought us back safely to our hotel, an experience i would be wary of in any other country. His restaurant was also the best food we had in Bhutan.

  3. We live in a coastal town in india so we were obviously amazed by the sheer variety of fruiting and flowering trees, the flowers, the rivers flowing through crowded cities and still so clean.

  4. Our trip was very activity heavy, it included things like the tigersnest hike, river rafting in Punakha river, archery, etc. and somehow we still did not get tired because of the peace and quiet the country has to offer.

  5. We loved the local food, few places in particular were so so good that I cannot get over it. Luckily, neither of us like eating Indian food in foreign locations because we consider it a wasted opportunity, haha and that made the trip so much fun because we got to try so many new dishes, their local wine and whiskey varieties and some very tasty local fruits and vegetables.

  6. Every corner of the country was so clean and spotless and you get to see it the moment you cross the border if you are coming via road. The citizens get free education, healthcare and subsidized goods for building houses and setting up business. Just something that I can only hope for in my country.

DM if you'd like recommendations for food, restaurants or alcohol. Highly recommend going to this country, you'll never regret it. We'll definitely be going again but we'll be covering more of the eastern side than the regular Paro-Thimphu-Punakha-Phobjikha.

I have lived in this city for 8 years now which means I do not have winter wear that fits me anymore. I'm going on a vacation soon where the temperature drops to 8-10°C. I need to shop but with summers at its peak, there's no place in the city that actually has a winter collection and the options online are also not the best. Where do Chennai people shop their winter wear?
